When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief."And people in hell wish for ice-water."Kit drawled a saying he'd heard from somewhere earlier. Then again most things that the blonde said came from having watched it or seen it on something. TV was a big one but sometimes the students and teachers would provide something for him.
Pale gold orbs watched Faust jump back from his sudden close proximity and hit the ground, his wicked grin spreading slightly as the white haired male got up and dusted himself off with an attempt at the polite tone's, which changed to snappy a minute later and almost instantly drained the grin from the boys face. He floated back a respectful distance between them and gave him a flat stare that never should have belonged to someone his age, it was an ancient sort of haunted wisdom.
"If you want 'older' I have you by decades, kid."He informed him in a tone that perfectly matched his eyes. A sort of wearied existence. He had all of eternity to look forward too, what would this kid even know about that? And he was NOT amused by the idea tha he didn't have anything in his head. Faust was quickly becoming boring to the small ghost. He linked his hands over his head as the old hurts drained from his eyes and left behind the almost carefree mischief that was usually there.
"Yeah, you know what...I got a better idea anyway. I'm going to go rot my brain some more to prove you right."the blonde tipped his hat slightly, apparently tired of dealing with someone who seemed to be rather upset with his presence. Strangely enough, it was bothering the young ghost who usually couldn't care less how much he annoyed someone. Then again, they usually couldn't see him unless he wanted it.
With that he faded from view completely, making an almost instantaneous transition from the hallway to the white haired male's room where he grabbed a remote and flipped the TV on. He was already shifting through channels looking for his favourite show, if not he could drag the box collection he had stolen up here to watch it again.

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." Yukio smirked lightly as he walked back inside his room. He sat next to him and watched as his hand slid past his and grabbed the floating remote. "Tell me when you want me to stop flipping." he requested. "I refuse to look more crazy than I already do." As he flipped while getting up and having his back turned, he looked through the small bookshelf provided by the school and grabbed a few. Yukio calmly walked and sat in front of the bed so Kit could get a clear view.
"In response to your little phrasing, I would say that your mind would be a little premature. What I meant is that you probably been beaten, but not molested, so therefore, you're still innocent on that subject." The white hair boy kept his eyes on the book, hoping it'd give him some idea on what they should do to ease the ghost's boredom."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..."

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief."Crazier than you are, you mean?"Kit asked, blandly, hints that he still wasn't quite happy in his tone as he floated over the bed and kicked his legs over his back in a rhythmic motion as his pale gold orbs watched the stations turning over on the TV set while Faust moved towards the bookshelf and grabbed something to entertain himself while also keeping up the channel surfing.
Finally the white haired male picked something and sat at the base of the bed while Kit kept his eyes glued to the screen. He hadn't glanced over to see what the other male was doing, seemingly absorbed in his own activity. He'd bumped the hat up slightly so he could see after he settled his chin on his linked hands. The perfect picture of a slightly bored, but relaxed male. Perfectly normal. If you discounted the slight fact that objects were semi-visible through his body and that he was a good inch or two off the bed he was supposedly reclining against.
"Wait, wait, go back. That was Ghost Whisperer."He waved a hand quickly to get the other boys attention before putting it back into place supporting his head. He seemed to have completely ignored Faust's comment as he waited for the station to turn back to the one he wanted. He loved that show, cause it was stupid to think that ghosts just hung out to fulfill their last wishes. If that was the case Kit would have vanished when his old man finally kicked the bucket.
"Stop being such a baby. I don't care about that stupid s**t, neither should you. And I'm NOT premature."the blonde huffed, finally deciding to answer. He really didn't want to talk about it, because it made him think of the past and that was an area that the smaller ghost didn't like to get into. Memories were dangerous when you had nothing to anchor your soul. He was also slightly annoyed that Faust might have lumped his kiss in with the molestation. So much for his first real kiss....damn, he should avoid proving points with mortals in the future. And why the hell should he care what the kid thought of it? He'd just been messing around anyway, right?

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." Yukio clicked the same button, slowly, yet quickly while reading through the short stories. He was starting to really lose it when he saw that it all seemed too easy for him and would get him bored. He growled at the supposed 'long-term' pranks and threw that out. "Damnit..." mumbling to himself.
When the boy had told him to stop, he set the remote down. He stared at the TV in disbelief at the show that was playing. "The Ghost Whisperer?!" he said outloud. "I would've thought that was bunch of crap!" He shrugged lightly and scratched his head. “If that’s what you want then…”
“All right. I guess I really shouldn’t worry…”"You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..."

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief."Huh?"Kit turned his head, distracted gold orbs landing on Faust as he scratched the back of his head. Obviously commenting on the show, almost instantly the blonde's signature smile bloomed to life as he turned his attention back to the image on the screen. A pretty brunette was chasing down a figure that seemed to phase in and out of view like bad reception.
"It is. But damn, its fun to watch and make fun of."He told the white haired male who seemed to be rather confused with his choice of shows. The fact was that Kit loved ghost shows, in all their incarnations, because he found them hilarious. Oddly enough not one of them had ever set off his internal triggers, even the ones with kids dying horribly. It just didn't mesh right for some reason, maybe because he didn't believe the death scenes.
"You've meet other ghosts right? That whole bullshit about wanting an earthly desire fulfilled before moving on, do any of them ACTUALLY believe that?"the blonde tilted his head slightly so he could take in the show and Faust all at the same time. He'd really only ever meet Nick, and neither of them seemed as pathetic as the ghosts on this show. More like the ones on murder movies, that kill anyone who hurts their house. Like that House on Haunted Hill one. He LOVED that! He wanted a collection of human bones to throw around when he was being dramatic.

Ayukina Xien - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." "Ah...Should've known..." Yukio said, looking back down. He really wasn't that sensitive, he thought. The ghost Whisperer always seemed to remind himself of his childhood. How he, his child self, and the brunette character was alike. In any case, he soon learned that that wasn't true at all...Otherwise, he'd stop seeing them.
"Yeah...Plenty of them back at the orphanage I was in for a while..." he replied to his question. "They always seemed so scary at first, but then...I'd watch it..." By it, Yukio was talking about their past, the way they all died. He almost started to feel their pain again, but he shook it off, fearing the wounds may come back. "They all believed it at some point. I did as well...Not that you care anyway."
Yukio kept his head down, feeling really upset now and about to cry again. He kept his face away from Kit as much as possible avoiding eye contact with him. "It was always like they expected something from me. I didn't know what I should do, so I went along with it. If they wanted me to lend them my body, I did that. If they wanted me to act like a relative, I did that as well." He sighed quietly. "But no matter what, even when they say they're ready...The next day I see them, still hanging around."
They ignored him, as if trying desperately to show the young child they were okay and had moved on..."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..." ((Emo Mode ON!))

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief."What?"Kit glanced away from the screen once more at the weird tone that had crept into Faust's voice. The white haired male was seemingly lost in thought and watching the floor so he probably missed the arch of an eyebrow that came from the blonde who shifted his weight so he was leaning on his side for a better angle with one hand holding up his head instead of two. The other arm dangled off the edge of the bed as he listened to the answer to his question.
"I don't, care that is. Why should I? If they were stupid enough to believe that happily ever after exists."He'd known even during life that there wasn't any 'unfinished' business or happiness to be had in the world. Life sucked a**, simple as that. You couldn't trust anyone, except Nick, and everyone was just out for themselves. It was weird to think that Yukio might actually have believed that bullshit at some point...Kit couldn't remember a time he hadn't known the truth. The only happiness you got was what you fought for.
"So you were a ghost doormat? Sounds pretty boring to me."the blonde shrugged, turning his attention back to the show because the ghost had showed up again and it was obvious Faust was busy keeping his attention on the floor and away from the other occupant of the room.
"You really need to stop giving people what they want, doesn't make 'em happy, makes 'em dependent. Hurts worse when they suddenly have to be alone. So grow a damn backbone would ya? Chase your OWN damn happiness, esh."That might have actually been a pep talk from the young ghost, eyes focused on the TV. The ghost on the screen was crying softly and trying to touch his son, the small boy oblivious to the father. Reverse the roles and he knew what that was like. Legs kicked over his backside as he turned his full attention to the show, seemingly done with his helpful advice, if he was even aware he'd made it in the first place.

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." Yukio started to get angry when he began to say things about those people being stupid. Okay, so maybe Yukio was being stupid, but was it wrong for Yukio to try and see if he could help them rest in peace? He was only a kid at the time! He didn't stop believing in happy endings til he's been beaten through in his fifth family in at the young age of eight.
"Sorry for being boring then..." he said with a fake laugh following his words. He really wasn't enjoying the conversation and the show was just making him upset, but that's what Kit wanted and he'd hate to get on his bad side again. Yukio's head was pounding now, remembering all those people, how painful it was to see them ignoring him because they didn't want him to worry.
Out of frustration of Kit's last sentence, he through the pillow at him and it miraculously hit him hard, knocking the boy off. Slightly shocked by that, he shook it off, his throat dry without words to say. He wanted to yell at him saying it was hard for him to resist them, to just say no. It was hard to just look at them when he was a kid. He didn't know what to do, he was only four when the started to bug him.
Yukio gave in and placed his head down on the ground, not saying a word, but just quietly crying to himself. He had a headache that wasn't going to go away anytime soon. "Sorry I hit you..." he mumbled, face down a hand over a prank that seemed to be fun for Kit, he had hoped."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..."

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief."That is a creepy a** laugh..."Kit commented, turning his head from the screen once more to look over at Faust after the fake sounding laugh. The white haired male seemed to be rather upset which had the blonde's head tilting. He didn't care...per say...that required a level of commitment that Kit wasn't likely capable of for anyone outside Nick. But he wasn't sure he LIKED the look and rather depressing aura coming from his pet. A frown washed away his typical grin before a pillow suddenly smacked into his face.
Startled he tumbled off the bed, hit the floor, and passed clean through it. He jerked himself around and stopped hovering near the ceiling of the floor below. Blinking twice before floating back up through the floor with a shocked look, he hadn't even been able to hit annoyed yet because he'd been incorporeal when that pillow hit. How the hell?
The hat became visible first, followed by the blonde hair and gold eyes as Kit focused on the room once more in time to see Faust with his head on the floor. An eyebrow arched as his arms crossed and settled on the floor so his chin could rest on his arms. The rest of his body was invisible because the floor got in the way. Only his upper body had come up through the hardwood.
"How the hell did you do that?"He asked in genuine surprise, looking more like a kid than he had almost all evening. Excitement was mingled with surprise in a sort of 'Christmas morning' sort of look. It was quick to vanish under his usual expression of superiority and mischief.
"You really are an idiot. Stop apologizing and take, would ya? Your entitled to whatever you can get your hands on and keep, law of life..death too actually, but the point is, don't be so damn passive! Take charge a little, Faust, for ******** sake."the blonde huffed floating the rest of the way up out of the floor and going solid enough to grab the remote. He had a determined look on his face as he flipped through channels. Anyone walking by could see him just fine as he muttered under his breath until he found what he wanted. A second later the remote was tossed back on the bed and Kit flopped back next to Faust while going invisible again.
"Okay, take notes. Mulder is JUST what you need to be."Nodding sharply he decided to share his other idol, his first being his brother, with someone else. If Faust learned to act like Mulder then he wouldn't be such a push over. Mulder knew how to handle things and keep fighting.

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." Yukio was almost asleep by now. He hadn't heard his question and was drifting slowly off to sleep. He just wanted his headache to go away, and to get himself to stop crying. His head snapped up as he saw the boy much more clearly. This time he was solid apparently.
Being called an idiot...that just made Yukio feel worse. He didn't understand what the heck Kit was trying to do to him. Was he trying to cheer him up or make him feel miserable? Either way, he thought he'd just pay attention to the boy some more before attempting to go back to sleep.
"Mulder?" Kit had flipped the channel to X-files. He sighed slightly amused and started to watch the screen with his teary eyes. He started to rub against them, trying to get it clear out of Kit's sight, but he had done it while he was settling next to beside him. "What am I supposed to take notes on?""You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..."

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief.Faust got a huffed, slightly annoyed look from his blonde companion when he realized that the other boy was drowsing off on him in the middle of the conversation. Pale gold orbs rolled from behind the fringe of bangs squashed by his trademark hat. He pulled at the brim in a jerking motion.
Thankfully for the white haired male he managed to divert Kit's attention to his favourite subject before he started off on the other boys ignoring his rants. Almost instantly the boyish joy surfaced once more and animated his whole body in innocence.
"Yeah, Mulder's the guy. See he's with the chick whose an agent of the FBI too, but she's here to spy on him basically. Well they have a whole history, but this is an early episode so it doesn't matter. Anyway, Mulder is what your taking notes on. See, he doesn't let Sully get him down with her constant disbelief. He solves cases and he fights back when he has too. BUT he's nice like you are, well...nicer like you are."Kit amended thinking of the few episodes where Mulder hadn't been half as nice as the pushover boy, but he wasn't ever as bad as Kit. While the blonde would have found that annoying outside of the show the monsters and creepy things kept him well enough entertained to overlook the 'do gooder' attitude that cropped up in his favourite character at times.
"So you watch the show, take notes, and try and become cooler. See?"the small ghosts grin suggested he figured he'd just made the best idea to ever happen in Faust's life. If he fought back, the idiot might not get into as much trouble. It never really entered into his mind to question why he cared. Kit wasn't one for deep personal observation, if he wanted something he took it or did it...simple as that. For the moment he felt like helping his pet so that was what he was doing.

 - * ^ Yukio Miheal ^ * - "You can probably get where I'm coming from... Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling..." When Kit's face brightened up a lot, he began to explain in what had been seen to Yukio in one breath. He's never actually watched the X-files before. They tend to scare him before the show began, meaning the theme song scared him away when he was a kid. He couldn't help but laugh at how quick he was to brighten up, how childish the teen was at that moment. He tried to soak in what Kit was saying about his hero, but it was diffucult.
"K-Kit-dono...C-can you slow down?" he asked. "I couldn't understand that last bit you said..." Yukio was smilling rather nervously, not understanding much. "He's like me, but more like me?"
He looked upwards and sighed, feeling rather confused. "I;ll just watch one episode, but after that, I'm sleeping...""You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..."

►►► The young man rolled his insubstantial shoulders back twisting in the air. He thought he had a headache, but it seemed that one would logically require a head for that. An invisible frown ghosted (no pun intended) across his lips and he rolled his head around to the side as though working out some angle he could find to relieve the faint pressure at the back of his non-existent skull.
He was alone, of course. It was rare for him to show even the occasional pains or anything but self indulgent, or Kit-indulgent, good humor. He simply wasn’t comfortable with those displays of weakness. Raised to be the strong one, the trusted one, the future of the family name, it was a deep seated habit to keep small complaints to one’s self. Even though much more relaxed with his younger sibling, Nick also harbored a desire to protect the blonde troublemaker as best he could and this included shielding him from worries that weren’t even really important.
It did bother Nick, a little, that he’d fallen asleep briefly so soon after the school year had begun. It hadn’t been long, maybe a couple of hours, but he’d been asleep, in that place that didn’t add to memory or mind. He shouldn’t have done that when there were people in the school. Odd.
Somewhere in the back of his mind he could feel his brother’s spirit and the slight tug of that psychic they’d stumbled across. Nick chuckled and shook his head. Kit really did like playing with this one. God help that poor boy. Though Nick had gotten a bit annoyed with the psychic’s treatment of his *ahem* overly ambitious brother, that irritation had slipped away, washing back down some stream of consciousness to be replaced with a laughing calm. It was with a faint smile that he stepped through Yukio’s bedroom door without any real regard for privacy or discretion.
Blue eyes flicked towards the screen and he raised an eyebrow. “I thought I said something about this rotting your mind…”
He walked about an inch or so above the floor in an almost seamless imitation of reality. He looked down at the two boys on the floor, standing just in front of the television. What did his brother call this one again? He couldn’t remember the real name, if he’d ever even learned it. “How did he talk you into watching it?” he asked, moving out of the way before Kit could throw a fit about him blocking the flickering screen. He settled instead on the edge of the bed, watching the boys more than the television, though his eyes did occasionally stray towards the show.

When children are doing nothing, they are doing mischief.Kit blinked, head tipping to one side as Faust quickly asked him to slow down. A frown drifted through his expression, darkening his eyes, before he sighed with a huff that seemed to indicate the same level of vexation that would have someone throwing their hands in the air. Still, he leaned back to hover an inch from the bed so he appeared to be resting against it.
"You know, he likes to HELP people, but he's pretty cool otherwise."Kit explained. To someone like him helping was something only idiots did. Adults deserved what they got and you could never trust something someone did for you out of the 'goodness of their heart' he'd learned that lesson the hard way. Everyone was out for themselves...except for Nick. Then his eyes went wide and indigent.
"Only one episode? That's criminal!"a pouty scowl pulled at his full lips as he glared at the white haired male as if he could force him to stay awake through will alone. Given he did everything else by that process it should have worked, might have too had he not gotten distracted by his brother walking through the wall. His mischievous grin bloomed into place as he tipped his hat in acknowledgment.
"Gotta have a brain to rot."he told him lightly, his tone matching that grin as he rolled to one side as Nick moved out of the way of his vision. Flopping to the floor, or slightly through it before he corrected to hover over it now on his side with his hand propped in his hand. His pale gold eyes once more animatedly glued to the screen where Mulder was yelling at Skully that it really was real, aliens were invading this town and had been for years.

"Ah I see...And I'm just not cool then..." repeating Kit in a weird sort of way. He chuckled again at Kit's child-like behavior, smiling jokingly at him. "We'll see if I can even last this episode. If it peeks my interest I'll watch with you some more." Not that Kit may have cared anyway.
Sensing the presence of Kit's brother again, he turned to his direction and smiled. "Welcome back, Nick-sama. Sorry you had to witness such a scene earlier today..." he apologized, referring to the incident with his step-brother. He gave him a light and cheerful smile as he apologized. "As you can probably already tell, we're watching X-Files..."
"...Hmm...I think he talked me into by making a strange attempt to either bring me down or cheer me up." he answered. Yukio pointed upwards as he gave his answer with a closed-eye grin. He wasn't exactly cheered up yet, but he wasn't upset either. Whatever emotion he was feeling, he wanted it to stay that way for a little longer."You can't see that I'm hiding behind this smile Using it to shut off all of my problems from the outside world..."
