He seemed to run out of whatever he was on
as he got to Honey. "Honey-sempai will......."
He looked at Kyouya with a silent appeal
for help.

The phone rang.
"Oh, damn!" cried the lady and dived for the phone, tripping over the shoes he had only half taken off. Pulling himself up by the table, he made an effort to sound lady-like.
"Yes? Oh, Kyouya darling! How are you?"
Ranka turned to sit down with his back against one of the table legs,
running his free hand through his now disarranged hair.
"Really? You would? No. Yes. I can see you would need the help of a professional. Yes. Oh! I'd be delighted to help you darlings!"

 Haruhi Fujioka "Shopping with my dad?" she said in dispair.
Haruhi dreaded the idea of what kind of girly things that he would buy for her. She had forbid her father from shopping for her after he went to buy her a pair of jeans and came back with 10 dresses. And no jeans."Do I really have to go?" she asked Kyouya and Tamaki already knowing what the answer would be.

Digging voraciously through her clothes and picking out something cute for her.
