(ooc My internet seems to be giving me trouble i'll have to pop in later.)

Sitting down on the floor with a belly full of warm food, proved to be to much for the blonde girl and she slowly drifted into sleep.

The brief thunderstorm hadn't affected Robin much, already sheltered as he was, though his Onix had been startled by the sudden thunder and had spent several minutes cowering, as best as a thirty-foot-long rock snake could, in a corner. After she had calmed down and as the rain began to lighten into a drizzle once again, Robin followed the smell of food into Bill's house.

The street musician briefly considered filling his pockets with the finger food, but finally decided that it would be pretty ungrateful of him, after Bill had already so generously allowed him to rent a Pokemon free of charge. The supply of food he already had could be stretched over the course of the week.

With a few morsels in hand, Robin settled into a corner of the couch to watch the news. It looked like they'd be able to set out today, after all.

"Yep. Eevee trip." Penelope smiled. "Oh... sorry about your camera..."

Stitch shook the pikachu's paw, which was an awkward human thing to do... But oh well. She seemed nice enough.

Penelope looked down at her Linoone, who was now making noise. "He isn't bothering you is he?"

After taking a calming rest on the bench, seeing that many of the trainers had taken to the stables and such, the breeder rose to his feet. Boots clinking lightly at the shift of weight, he looked down to the Absol at his feet. He'd already gotten a head start and obtained the Ponyta he'd use for traveling. Named it Tirk. He was a rather fiesty steed, but he was full of life.
"Shall we go prepare then..?" he lightly asked his companion.
With a subtle nod, the Absol took to it's trainers side.
Grinning approvingly, he pocketed his hands and made his way to the nearest shop.
The Absol kept close at his side, legs moving the same as the humans. Just like the breeder, his eyes did not wander to the sides, and kept straight ahead of him; giving no care to those who may be passing by.

Lizzie didn't mind that the storm was over already. What she did mind was that her Lugia decided to take a nap in the middle of the stables right after she finished drying it with a towel.

"Oh come on, you stupid baby." She prodded him with her foot. "If you want to nap then do it outside. Not where there's a lot of people here..."

Her attempt failed. Lizzie sighed and gave up, deciding to sit down next to him and read the book she brought along. It was damp from the rain but she could still read it.

Meeka brushed off the camera incident like a tick on Ebba's bum. "Oh, no, no! Don't worry about it! It was a cheap little thing anyway, nothing to apologize for."

The Pikachu smiled again and twitched its ears. "" she responded. ""

Just realizing that the once-poofy Linoone was making noise, she shook her head. "Not at all! The little guy seems to be getting along well with Terri though."

"Ah~ It's nicer to see them out where they belong rather than to keep them cooped up. Though considering my parents are breeders most of the pokemon don't mind being on a ranch." She could remember the days when she and her siblings sat on the fenches around the ranch watching as their parents worked with some of the more difficult pokemon. Like that scarred Absol her mother had found a few years ago... Shaking herself from the thoughts Tabitha reached down to fix the buckle on her left boot.

"Don't squeeze too hard with your legs or it'll get the wrong idea and think you want it to run." Though she had to admit these pokemon seemed to want to test their riders before anything started.

Ridley's optimism was met with the flash of a tongue, and he hefted the bags higher, draping one of his shoulder as they walked. Even so, he gave the rocket a few slow, lazy nods, wincing a bit as his shoes squished soggily, appreciative. "Thanks -- I wasn't exactly expecting to be leaving today, but it shouldn't take too long to grab my stuff. My backpack still has a lot of the traveler's sized stuff already in it, it's just a matter of wrapping clean clothes in a plastic bag so they don't get wet." Liam fiddled with the straps around his arms as they walked, flicking open the pouches to drop various berries into them before moving to the ones at his waist, multitasking.

"So... why're you going on this thing, anyway?" He asked curiously, opening the door to the apartment complex for him, following him inside after Ridley had entered. The tone he used was void of suspicion, but the look he gave the rocket was flat, as if he suspected foul-play. Still, he knew Ridley wouldn't tell him the truth -- even if he was willing, Liam wasn't sure he wanted to know. By this time, it was an unspoken rule that they didn't talk about it, lest they get into a big argument. Upon which Liam would probably punch Ridley, and as a result get pounded for it. And as much as the healer loved the idea of telling him off, bruises might not be the best way to start the trip. "I didn't know you were an eevee-lover~" he teased after a second, lightening the mood again.

((XDDDD I LOVE THIS FREAKY WEATHER LULZ it's messing with ussss))

An odd sight greeted Lamen as she ran towards the Tauros, seeing as there was something like a force field over both itself and Donut and... what was Soar doing here? Whatever. "Don't mind if I do," Lamen said, leaping into the bubble of dry air before the rain got hard.

It ended moments afterward and the dark clouds rolled away. "What the crap?! Pfft. Was that something you did for dramatic entrance or something, Soar? You didn't have any weather changing powers last time I checked." She bumped the Deoxys' chest with the back of her fist, then watched as the force field dissolved. "Anyways, thanks. But you should stay hidden, all right? Team Rocket will come after you if you show up in public." It was like one of those scary bedtime stories you tell to make children behave.

The legendary blared loudly, obviously bored and a little frustrated despite his expressionless face. He put a hand on the Tauros' back and hopped once. Mattress was visibly nervous.

"Whatever, Soar, you can fly like a ninja- as in, hidden, ok- while I travel or something, okay? If the group is small enough, you can join us."
Lamen left the Deoxys and Tauros there, returning to Cooper and the stranger with Donut floating after her. The Gengar didn't spend a lot of time around Psychic types, ever. It wasn't hard to tell why.

"So you're friends with Adriel, right? I'm Lamen. Nice to meet you." She extended a hand to shake.

@Griffin:

User Image Anise took advantage of the finger food to nab a few snack, then headed to a quiet corner to munch on them. She saw that a person in brightly-colored, if patched-looking, clothing had done the same, and settled down next to him.

"Hi there," she said to the other person. "I take it you're here for the trip to Motterossa, too?"

Ezekiel watched Lamen approached and looked at Cooper, who was wagging his tail, apparently the arcanine knew her. He took her hand and shook it lightly. "Not really his friend, I am his half-brother, thought I suppose there is not much family resemblance besides the height and eye color. I am Ezekiel, its nice to meet you, Lamen." He smiled gently.

Cooper leaned over and licked Lamen's face, wagging his tail rapidly.

"Oh hey! The storm is... gone? That was quick!" Penelope grinned.

Stitch sniffed around.

"So, what group are you in?" Penelope held up the red scarf she received to tie around her Onix's... horn.

Ridley forced himself not to watch Liam as they walked along, glancing at him every so often and nodding. "I don't mind. Even if they leave a little early we can probably catch up to them by nightfall," he shrugged. Truth be told, he'd be willing to delay the entire day, and not just because Liam's shirt was now soaked and sticking to his skin. He just had to stop being a b***h about it. This is what he'd signed up to do. And that was life.

His train of thought was interrupted as Liam asked his reason for going, and he paused, forming up the proper excuse from before, knowing that Liam wouldn't believe him, but that he had to at least uphold the facade so that the healer had an excuse to not punch him. "I just want to get out of the city for a while. I enjoyed our last trip, it was really relaxing. I was hoping for a similar experience," Ridley shrugged, and stammered as Liam called him and eevee-lover.

"Ok, they are pretty cute, but they're not my favorite. It's just that they're rare," he shrugged. "I'm not really going for the eevee anyway," Ridley flat-out lied, and the ease with which it rolled off his tongue mildly sickened him.

"You can say that again!" agreed Meeka as she turned her brown gaze to the window. "Talk about freakish weather!"

Terri tilted her head. ""

Meeka returned a smile and glanced at the scarf. "I'm not in a group." Hesitating for a bit, Meeka pointed to the third place in her belt, shifting a little to try and hide the M-Ball sitting all the way in the back. "I'm riding on my Pidgeot, Avella, for the event. Heh."

"Yeah?" Liam lifted his eyebrows, meandering up the stairs and down a hallway to his apartment door, reaching into one of the pouches to grab a key, unlocking it and pushing open the door with his foot. Inside, the place was a wreck -- clothes and food containers littered the entire place, although no more worse than any other regular bachelor pad. The healer didn't seem perturbed by the mess or the fact that Ridley was seeing his mess, stepping inside and dropping the bags on the couch, moving straight to his room, the sound of drawers opening echoing through the tiny living room.

"Jesus it's cold in here," he commented, loud enough for Ridley to hear, the sound of wet denim brushing against itself audible under his voice as he moved to the closet. The sleeping bag in his closet was just where he left it, stacked on top of the backpack he had brought on their last trip.

"Hey, can you grab the duct tape from the bottom drawer by my bed?" he asked, ducking out of the room to grab his toothbrush and hairbrush from the bathroom.
