During the flight to the outpost and throughout the discussion thus far on the matter, Warden and Jace held their tongues. It seemed that a civil war amongst the Fae was inevitable at this stage. The armies on both sides were relatively sizable as well, and being who they were, most likely they could do quite a bit of damage.

"If I may speak... is the only way to stop the carnage to eliminate the traitor? Or would his followers continue to fight for his sake?" asked Jace quietly. With the information thus far, it was hard to tell if this was just a rebellion or what exactly.

Bullseye lips curled as the blade crossed his scales there was inward growl as the Fae explained that he could be enslaved him by binding. His red eyes were sharply locked on his as he thought ' is there anything else he could offer other than his blood, and freedom.' He then wonder if that's what was happening in the earlier fight, he then snapped out of his thought of earlier events and looked at the cut and then at the knight.

"Very well, Knight I am aware." Bullseye said as he was wondering what would push one so far as slavery.

"Killing the traitor would certainly stop the fighting," Leverne said, "They rally to him because he lends some legitimacy to their cause - if he were removed there would be no reason for them to fight. There's a catch, I'm afraid. We don't want to kill him. It would be disastrous if we did."

Leverne looked troubled.

"His Majesty has ordered that the traitor be taken alive and imprisoned until it can be decided how to resolve this situation. He has given me - and only me - permission to take the fae's life if I deem it necessary. Otherwise, we are to bring him back alive. It's... complicated. His death would cause about as much destruction as the war would."

They were dancing around something. Someone with access to trained knights, from the higher ranking fae, that carried 'some legitimacy'?

The question remained silent on Tumlar's tongue. If the wounded fae did not wish to speak of it, it would not do to ask of it - at this time. Maybe if relations were better, he would chance it.

"So not only do you have to capture the escaped fae, but you have to keep anyone else from killing him as well." Tumlar tried not to look down at the shape the Silver Rose champion was in as he lay on the cot. "I do not envy your position. Capturing this fae and keeping him bound will be no easy task it seems."

It was then that Tumlar's bound walked over with a bowl and hand towel. "Do you wish to be attended, sir?" he asked Leverne. The man looked maybe in his 30s, at least that may have been what he was when he had been bound at least.

This certainly was no simple matter was it? And as Tumlar said, Warden did not envy Leverne's duties here regarding the traitor. Though, mentioning legitimacy had him wondering just who this traitor was to the Fae. There was also the bit on things being disastrous if he was killed.

Jace wasn't any more pleased to hear any of this, and he fell silent once more as he thought on the whole thing. Crossing his arms, he glanced over as Tumlar's bound went to see if the Fae champion wished to be tended to.

Leverne gave Tumlar's Bound a curt nod, his attention focused on the dragons still.

"It gets worse," he told them, "Not only do we have these constraints on us, but I believe the traitor has been rallying local dragons to his cause. I am not sure if he has Bound them to his will or if they went freely, but either way he is starting to pull your kind into this war. It is only a matter of time before his followers start binding dragons in order to use them as unwilling participants."

The champion hesitated and then his face grew grim.

"Dragon Knight, we need your aid. We need dragons to contend with dragons and unless the Crown receives help willingly, we will be forced to take it. Your Order cannot stand by and let this happen. You are involved by the oaths you have sworn. Will you aid the Crown?"

-----------------------

The fae led Bullseye to the main pavilion. He gestured for the dragon to wait outside and vanished into the interior. After a short length of time a number of knights emerged, forming a semi-circle around the dragon. And then the Queen emerged.

She was dressed in gray, her gown trailing behind her in unadorned ripples of fabric. Her hair was long and braided with gold woven into hair the color of a raven's feathers, streaked with midnight blue. Her features were sharp and harsh, her hands long and thin with claws instead of nails, and her skin seemed to be dusted with silver dust in places. A strip of gray cloth covered her eyes but she did not seem to have trouble seeing and gazed at the dragon from behind her blindfold.

"Speak then," she said, "What is it you wish to know and what do you have to offer for my knowledge?"

Bullseye followed ignoring the small sting in his open wound and then when he waited outside he glanced around as he waited and a short thought came across 'I don't think I going to be given the chance to go home.' he looked at his foreleg. Then seeing movement from the corner of his eye he snapped his head up, his eyes were curious at what emerged before him.

"My name is a start, but most likely you know already, for I've given it to the archer my brother attack in a quarrel for we have no knowledge about. We could avoid such attack if we are informed, but our kind only know so much about whats on the other side of the trees." Bullseye said with a pause trying to not to waver his fear in the bold tone in his words. "Blood has already been taken twice by Fae, I wish for it to cease. I rather work for my information or trade it for what I know thus far in my life."

He glance at every knight.
"It's either you trust me, or you don't."
"And I thank you for allowing me this far." He ended what he stated knowing it was probably not the most polite way of starting things out. But he had not a clue what or who he was talking to far as he was concern he was talking to everyone.

Tumlar watched as his bound motioned for Jace to hold the bowl of clean water before stepping closer to Leverne. His armor had been removed earlier making it easier for him to move around within the outpost, though Tumlar remained in the bulk of his.

Yes, the Dragon Knights were involved for the survival of the dragons. Both sides were starting to make their banner calls, if he understood the clan leader correctly, and there would be no stopping either side. There was one truth to much of the uncertainty, however.

Both sides were fae.

"What assurance of the Silver Rose can be given to our autonomy if we were to assist willingly in this and speed along relations?" Tumlar asked, not confounding the current relationship between fae and dragonkind. They both already knew the details. "What say will the Knights have under the Crown's banner when in our own lands?"

As he was beckoned, Jace went over assist Tumlar's bound with cleaning the fae's wounds. A frown briefly appeared on his expression as they were asked to assist the Crown. It was certainly a sticky matter. Picking either side didn't seem like a very good idea, and at the same time not doing anything wasn't really an acceptable thing either.

Warden's line of thought was similar to his human. It didn't help that the traitor had apparently enlisted some dragons to aid him. Closing his eyes, he tried to think what would be the best option in the long term, even if it meant taking some hefty losses in the short term.

It was just difficult to gauge that right now. But perhaps Tumlar would have a little more insight. The knight was at least taking caution before saying yes or no to this proposition. As he continued to mull it over, he awaited to see what the Champion had to say.

The fae queen listened to Bullseyes carefully before she turned to her attendants. Her expression was of boredom and she gestured at the knight that had taken the dragon's blood. He walked over and knelt before her. She took the sword from him, holding it with both hands before her.

"You have nothing to offer me," she said disdainfully, "Your protests of violence fall upon uncaring ears. The Crown cares nothing for your complaints. My beloved people - who among you wish for my favor and a dragon steed to claim as your own?"

And four fae stepped forwards, all kneeling around the Queen and the blood-stained sword she held.

"I give you my word as a champion that you will be able to act of your own free will," Leverne said, "And that your words will be heard the same as mine would be before my King. Is that sufficient?"

"The abilities of the Dragon Knights to act freely is of importance, but I want to know what will separate the Crown from the accusations that are placed on the rebel?" the large dragon spoke, the affair the forefront of his mind. He did not expect the fae to give any sort of promise on the latter, but he asked for his input anyway while concidering the order of Knights' position in this game of balance.

"If the Knights assist with their numbers and what volunteers we can gather, I want some assurance that the casualties and unwanted bindings will be kept to a minimum."

Tumlar's bond, Bantone, knelt and began to work at cleaning off the wound, occasionally dipping the rag back in the bowl.

Leverne looked cross at the question and shifted uncomfortably as Bantone cleaned up the wound, more out of irritation than discomfort.

"There can be no such surety in war," Leverne replied, "and I dare not make such an oath if I am not certain it can be kept. But my people will not attack dragons needlessly - why should we take such a risk? - and if we have the Order with us there will be no need to take Bounds of our own. Will that suffice?"

The dragon's surprisingly dark eyes for his otherwise light complexion studied the fae champion's face, sliding downward to that of the administrations of his bound, reviewing what wounds had been taken by Leverne.

"You will have your answer by the morn," Tumlar said as he lifted up off his haunches and began to turn. "Warden, stand guard. Bantone, Jace continued to attend in shifts."

'When you are finished with our guest, come follow and help doff my armor,' he spoke on path with his other half as his armor clattered while he walked for the door.

And by the end of that remaining thought, the dragon knight had left the room.

---

Morning came with the early glow of the sun, golden and unhindered lifting over the treelined horizon. A cool breeze scuttled through the air as if the winds were purring, happily awake after a quiet night of rest - something foregone by the dragon knight as his lungs swallowed a large puff of air before letting it back out to join the invisible waves.

The discussion had carried through the night with his bound, while Bantone could remain awake that is. Tumlar snorted in sarcastic amusement as to how that man could instinctively sleep at whim yet wake in the same fashion. It was best that way. He had to give the squires their time to rest as well. They couldn't leave them to stand by the fae the entire night.

More protocol and piece of mind that versus any sort of self protection. If he really was the fae court's champion and one who had bested the head of the order, then the fae would get up and leave with little to restrain him other than his own injuries.

With one last look at the sky, Tumlar shuffled inside to speak with that of the Champion.

---

"Then it is final," Tumlar said with a nod after some minor discussion. "You'll have the Knights assistance under those agreed terms."

He turned is dark eyes to that of the squire pair that was in attendance. "Squire Warden, you and your bound are to report directly to Head Master Lierce and no other on this. Once reported, you may stay and continue your training at Gen'yiel as originally planned or, with what Knights are sent, return here where you will remain under my watch."

The Dragon Knight then turned back to Leverne where he rested. "When you are ready, we can further discuss a course of action so as to end this uprising - for all races involved."

The Fae's answer was concerning, but neither human nor bond should have really expected anything less. Throughout the night, Warden remained watch over the Champion whilst his bound took his shifts to tend to him. By the time morning came around the squires were weary, but did what they needed to do.

"Yes ser," nodded Warden as the two of them went on to find Master Lierce to give the report. As they soared through the sky, they mulled over the options. It really didn't take them very long to decide what they wanted to do. While they were just squires right now, they still had a duty to fulfill.

<> asked Jace.

Bullseye sighed as she turned around he was now convinced this would not be good. As he watch the knight that took his blood, his eyes became serious for as far as he was concerned he has posed no threat. Apparently with these Fae dedication towards hard work wasn't good enough.
"Protests.." he narrowed his eyes. 'claim as your own' ran through his mind as a distasteful sneer grew on his face as each Fae advance to a kneel in front of the female holding the sword with his blood on it. He eyed his own blood on the blade, and gazed at the followers. They are no different than the two legs on their land, one goal, to control what they can't have rather than earning it.
It was this behavior, why he and his brother hasn't chosen a bond yet, there was no promise in what he believed to be a true bond. Where they can agree and disagree with out much arguments and they would both have trust.
This! The Four that took orders will not have him so easily.
Bullseye then clawed the ground with distaste in his mouth.
"Tell me, What are you all to me, nothing much but stories.."
"I understand I came here at my own cost."
"BUT TO TAKE MY RIGHT TO CHOOSE MY BOND! "

Bullseye had swallow before his voice raising into a outburst of frustration screech.
"We didn't try to take your Fae as bonds, why should you...?"
