Sorceress Ameneka The Dead Hand from Zelda OoT. I'm not scared off it anymore, but I still don't like the well, or the Shadow Temple. The music is kinda creepy. Yep, I also very much hate the stupid hands in the Shadow Temple. When I was younger, they really freaked me out. Now I just lure them out and kill them right away when I enter a room with one. They're so annoying. Anywho, this is a little weird, but an enemy that really scares me is in Super Smash Bros Melee, when Pichu gets all giant from a mushroom. Giant Pichu is so messed up. *shivers* xp

That mini-boss that you fight in the well in OoT.... the one that's all white and blood-covered and corpse-y and deformed. -shudders- >_< I was like, whining and going 'ewwww' the whole time I needed to fight it. And those hands grabbing you from the ground! Auughugh. I was so afraid of ReDeads for a long time too, they are just the creepiest s**t ever ... Well, they don't frighten me anymore because I'm older now, but when I was young... I couldn't even do the freakin' shadow temple or the well because of those two enemies, I made my brother do it for me. -_-;
Oh, and the chainsaw guy in RE4 is scary too. You'll just be walking around, then all of the sudden you just hear, "RRRRRRR!!" that chainsaw revving, and then I scream for my dear life and hide in the corner and shoot at it. xD;;; Those really freaky things later on in the game too.... Ugghhh, those ones that make those loud breathing noises and take FOREVER to die.. and they have those spikes... Oh god, I'm lucky I wasn't PLAYING the first time I saw them. I would of have had a heart attack!

Somewhere between anything from Silent Hill 4(especially the ghost-things, though the dogs don't scare me), the girl from F.E.A.R.(I only played the demo, but whenever I think about it, I constantly feel like that thing's behind me...) and quite a lot of things from Ocarina of Time. Though they don't frighten me so much anymore. The enemy that makes me scream is when the Xbox Guide on the 360 crashes. Come on! In haven't saved in ages, and I was almost at the Security Room! For the love of GOD, let me force-quit the Guide! The game is running fine! But the frozen guide has locked up my controller! And so I restart, having pulled my controller out of the wall. Getting back to the point, the angels in Farenheit are kinda creepy. And Marathon gets so tense at times that even the decidedly not-scary aliens make you jump in fright. Oh, and, err...open water. That's a personal phobia, and my greatest, creepiest, scariest, most powerful enemy in video games. sweatdrop Firrerreo Those damnable marrionettes in Devil May Cry. I hate freaky bloody puppets! Sometimes to freak people out, I put my hair down in front of my face and walk like a marionette. I just love the way they walk! And those clicking noises they make... (and yes, I have awesome long hair. People think me weird, because they're small minded imbeciles, and they think boys should have military hairstyles. scream )

The only games that have actually quiet scared me were Silent Hill 2, the things that scuttled out from under the cars, and the entire Fatal Frame game. For some reason the sequels that came after them just didn't do it for me...I was bored! crying
Shadowhearts also had some very freaky but interesting monsters. I loved reading up on them. Shadowhearts is just an awesome game all together....I should really finish it someday.
And I never knew Zelda was apparently so scary...Now I want to play OoT just to see what the heck ya'll are talking about.

Mimmiroo There was this game called "D" and you played as a girl who ran around in a hospital trying to find her dad. If you got the right ending you found your dad and went home, if you got the wrong ending your dad turned into a vampire and attacked you and while the credits were rolling you got to hear him eat your BODY! gonk AAUGH Halloween!! That sounds like the first Clock Towers when the scissors dude attacks you if you just run off without saving anyone. It was creepy, you see her driving, then he pops up and it cuts out right when the scissors come down to cut her head. gonk That whole game is creepy.

eek Definately the bosses on Silent Hill... I can't remember which out of the four it was, but a few years ago I was playing it...some of the scenes and enemies are scary as hell xd rofl
I remember saying it takes alot to make me cry in one of my posts, well, it also takes a whole lot to make me scared, but ill tell ya, the Silent Hill series sure did it. (But not the movie, the movie was retarded.)
I remember once it was really late at night and I was really tired and spaced out, and I was playing Silent Hill 4...and I didn't realize it, but I came to the mutated Rabbit thing and all of a sudden I yelled "HOLY s**t!" really loud rofl (since i was spaced out...wouldn't you be scared if you were daydreaming and all of a sudden you saw that boss? xd ) Well anyways, my older sister was still awake and she came rushing in my room and shes like "What happened?!! Are you alright?!!" And I'm like "Oh nothing, just playing Silent Hill..." lmao! rofl

I agree with a lot of the already mentioned things, although I've always been a tough cookie when it comes to scaring. Creeping me out? Easy, definitely, especially with games meant to do that like Silent Hill. Even when young, I never had to turn off the console or have someone with me.
In Resident Evil (PS1) nothing was super scary because you were totally expecting it, but the way the first dogs jumped through that window got me to jump so bad. It's hard to get me to flinch--enemies will creep me out and unsettle me (the lickers and hunters, totally!), but rarely do I flinch and I have yet to be scared enough of the enemies to turn off the console. The music was so totally fitting, though, and I think that's what makes a lot of games--the sounds that go with everything more than just the enemies themselves.
The marionnetes in Devil May Cry were really creepy because they were just hanging there, and you KNEW they were going to do something. In the same game the Sin Scissors were really annoying--the echoey evil laugh got on my nerves so I'd get almost frantic while fighting them trying to stop the noise.

In Haunting Ground, there were these giant.... hands. *shudder* They were so scary! They'd run up out of now where, latch on and scream really loud. Then that stupid Ricardo would come and get me. And Dabilatas. gonk I will never forget that scary dude. The grey imps in Rule of Rose scared me. I don't know why, blank, plain, or faceless monsters scare me the worst always. But I was most scared of the red zombies in RE. I would just scream and run away when that first one jumped up. It moved so fast!

It figures that I'd end up posting this at midnight... xd
I agree with everyone who said ReDeads from OoT. I first met them at my cousins house. I was playing, and one of my two younger cousins said something about there being "aliens" in a grave that they didn't like, so I decided to try beating them, and failed horribly. That scream is beyond scary, and how they attack you looks really... weird, plus you can't move, and... just everything is scary about them.
When I got Ocarina of Time, I was so scared that every area I went to would have ReDeads in it, and I went paranoid and started playing the Sun's Song whenever I heard any sort of weird noise. Then when I reached the Bottom of the Well, I completely went the wrong way and ended up pretty much exploring the entire well before finally finding the Dead Hand (Dead Hands creep me out, too). When I reached the Shadow Temple, I got terrified whenever I entered a new room, for fear of there being ReDeads. To this day, I STILL dread the Bottom of the Well and Shadow Temple. I also still have a fear of ReDeads, although it's been lessened slightly over the years.
Majora's Mask was better, since once you got the Gibdo's Mask you could make the ReDeads dance instead of them attacking you, but watching them dance isn't much better. I was fine with the Wind Waker ReDeads, though.
