Troutail froze, "Nightclan, i have to leave now okay the Gathering might be over" He hoped the leader would let him leave. If this leader found out he was the cat who got chased out of Nightclan he didn't want to know what would happen".

   [Silverstar glanced around. She saw BreezeClan there, and saw some NightClan cats there. She didn't see Ravenstar or half of NightClan! She knew she had seen the young she-cat with a golden spotted pelt and silver eyes, she also had seen the cat with red eyes. She glanced around. All of her Clan was still there... She padded over to Thunderpaw.] "Where did the NightClan cats go off to?" [Thunderpaw flicked her tailin the direction of the forest.] "I'll go get Ferntail and Dawnheart. You must get Starpelt or any medicine cat. They should have been back by now." [Silverstar's ear picked up a faraway yowl.] "They're in trouble! Hurry now!" [Silverstar bounded over to Fernatil Dawnheart and Sunswim.] "You three, follow me!" [As Silverstar bounded out of the clearing, she saw Thunderpaw following with a medicine cat, she was unsure of who. She pricked her ears and pounded on through the forest.]
"Mrrooooowwwww!" [The yowl sounded again, but this time closer. Silverstar and her patrol burst into the clearing to see a horrifying sight: The was a dead cat that had been foaming at the mouth, the red eyed cat had his belly sliced open and Ravenstar was trying to treat it. The leopard colored cat was asleep with her nose pressed into the other cat's fur; Jadepaw was unconscious near the base of a great boulder, and a few other warriors were speaking to Ravenstar and one another.] "Excuse me! We have a medicine cat!" [Silverstar called. The medicine cat leapt forward immediately. The rest of the patrol set to work.] "Thunderpaw, try to wake up Jadepaw. Fentail, Sunswim, help me carry the body out. Dawnheart, try to get the leopard colored cat away from the red eyed cat and out of the medicine cat's way. Ravenstar and..." [Silverstar turned to the other cats standing there.] "I apologize, I don't have our name. May I ask what it is?" [The other cats nodded and said 'Trouttail and Treepaw'. Silverstar nodded.] "Ravenstar, Trouttail, and Treepaw, please go back to the Gathering and let everyone know where we are. Don't tell much about what happened, we all will explain once this is taken care of."

BreezeClan has Arrived
Willowstrar trotted up to Silverstar, her Clan dispersing among others. "What happened?" she mewed, a hint of worry in her voice. Willowstar sat down, her tail flicking anxiously. Willowstar flicked her ears eagerly waiting for an answer.

   [Fathom shuddered. His eyes flickered open, and the first thing he saw was Leapordpaw's face pressed into his pelt. He felt a flicker of a strange emotion through his chest, but the pain in his belly was too distracting.
Then he realized the pain was ebbing.
He glanced up to see a medicine cat treating his wounds. He opened his mouth, then closed it, licking his lips. There was a sour taste in his mouth...the kind one gets when one's in a great deal of pain.
He stood up, wincing as his wound smarted.]
"I'm fine," he said hoarsely.
[He shook himself as gently as he could.
He gathered up the last remaining bits of courage and strength, and then opened his eyes and stood straighter.]
"I'm a NightClan cat, after all," he said in a stronger voice.
[He glanced down at Thunderpaw.]
"Thank you for bringing help," he murmured.
[He somehow knew she had brought the rest of the cats. She held his gaze without fear. Admiration flickered across her eyes, but then she just nodded.
Fathom padded away, slowly at first, and then quicker.
He needed to get back to the other clans to tell them of the new curse that was upon them.]
"Ravenstar," he called, "Leapordpaw, and all other cats, come. We must tell the rest of the Clans of this nightmare."

[Leopardpaw leapt up when Fathom struggled to his paws.] "Are you sure you'll be okay?" [Leopardpaw glanced at the medicine cat.] "Shouldn't we wait? The others can go! Is he well enough to travel?" [Leopardpaw asked the medicine cat. She turned around and was startled. She saw Silverstar, Thunderpaw, and some more cats who carried StormClan scent.] "Why is everyone here?" [She squeaked.]

[Silverstar turned to Willowstar. She decided not to tell the whole story, since she did not know. She figured probably, Leopardpaw, who was there to witness the whole thing, would tell the story.] "A NightClan cat had the Madness. I do not have the details, but a few cats will. The story will be told during the Gathering." [Silverstar flinched st the crestfallen face of Willowstar, but she padded to the entrance of the clearing, as the rest of the cats showed up.]

 [Leopardpaw's question was left unanswered. Fathom had already bounded ahead. Leopardpaw raced to catch up wih him. Eventually, they ran side by side, Fathom's large build carrying im faster and faster, and Leopardpaw's long legs matching his pace. They burst into Twin Rocks with the rest of the cats close behind. Leopardpaw looked around.] "All the Clans are here. Will they start the Gathering now?"

[Moonflower turned her head away from Firestorm.] "I'll be right back." [she mewed. She ran up to Fathom and Leopardpaw. She stared at Fathom's body, covered in cobwebs.] "Fathom! What happened?"
