Xenos Mortium
That brings up a good question, why is it called Warhammer?

They actually had a contest about that in the UK Edition of PC Gamer, the winner won a copy of DoW. Although it was more about explaining what a Warhammer was in Warhammer 40k....its a nemesis force hammer?

Lt. Brookman
Hammer of Sigmar, though it would take several long years before it would make sense in 40k.
Okay, fantasy makes sense now. Why does it make sense for 40K?

In WHFB, the Hammer of Sigmar is a symbol of Imperial unity.

Also, from a marketable view (because this is a buisness after all), naming it something else would be like trying to name Tomb Raider AoD as just "Angel of Darkness."
Only people who bother to look inot it would know the connection, and then they'd lose money.

when your lawn is actualy static flock.
you lecture your children about the benefits of warshiping the emperor.
you keep on buging your local librarian to show off her vortex of doom power.
when you walk you move 6 yards, stop then move another 6.

You keep a quick referance sheet of your own stats handy in your wallet / purse.

Well I'm close to that. I keep my characters sheets in my backpack when I carry it around. Hmm, roll myself up in WHFRP stats. Might try that. domokun

These are my curret stats for warhammer 40k, should i become miniaturized.

0-1 Chris Kimble (elites choice)
Pts- 100 WS-4 BS-5 S-3 T-3 W-2 I-5 A-1 LD-10 SV-4+

Wargear: spraypaint, car-keys, molotovs(count as frag grenades) autopistol.

Special rules:

Smokin' ganja: Chris is high off of marijuana all the time, and sees all thing with a positive light. He counts as fearless.

Independant character. Chris is an indepedant character unless accompanied by a posse.

Lucky sunuvabich: Chris has extremely good luck, and thusly his save counts as invulnerable.

Gone taggin: can be used in the assault phase instead of attacking normally. He will temporarily blind his opponent withy a spray to the eyes (or sensors, antennae, whatever) and then spray on insults like "f**" or "loser" on the enemy models. They must take an unmodified leadership check immeadiatly, if they fail they forfeight the assault and are counted as destroyed, leaving in shame while whining "you guys are mean!" This has no effect against vehicles, but he'll tag them up anyway.

Trigger happy: Chris will grab the best gun he can find. For that reason all models armed with a ballistic weapon cannot be removed from play onc killed, instead leave them on their side, when Chris moves into Base-to base he mad exchance his autopistol for whatever the fallen model is holding. He may exchange as many weapons as he sees fit during the game.

Why do some of those stats seem a bit far-fetched? BS-5? W-2?

You're better with a gun and can take twice as much damage as a Space Marine?

Well, from what I know, weed effects your judgement. So I doubt your BS skill would be that high. If you were 100 points, your stats would be through the roof alot higher XD

You'll have to forgive the fact that I cannot use this unit in a game, the only reason keeping me from doing it is that GW won't produce it, and i'd HAVE to have it be tourney legal or I won't play. xp

Not to mention the high price covers the ludicrous special rules... cool

Or the fact that it's a fantasy, so i could make him have S and T of 10, or BS of 6 and a 1+ save if i wanted, but i'm not THAT cheap rofl

PS- In real life, I can still crush a space marine leader easily with my l33t mind powerz... then just drag him down the street tied to the a** end of my buick. Really, I'm not just lying out my a** here... sweatdrop

If you've ever had the pleasure of seeing the real life scale statue of a Space Marine at a GW store, then you'd know that Buick would be totaled. It's three times the size of a normal person. Space Marines are genetically modified Humans remember? burning_eyes

Heh, and don't even get me started on one in Terminator armour. Malkie!

He should shoot an ally if he misses, like a Khorne character, 'cept with guns.
