Adalwulf got out of Lillia and went to stand next to John, shaking his head as he watched Kamon leave. "He's going to have a hard time adjusting to Nick's death, I'm guessing. If it bothers him so much, he should go and search his gundam's remains for clues, or something." He shook his head again and turned his laptop's screen towards John. "This is what I found from Backdraft. It's mainly just battle plans and tactics, and some schematics for various suits." He used a finger to tap the second and third pages, indicating the text. "What gets me, is that this data is in a code, not encrypted as well as I thought, but tough to figure out. I managed to decode some of it, I'm working on the rest. Apparently, this Chris guy has been keeping tabs on anyone he finds suspicious, like Kamon, Koza, Byrd, some info on Nick, and you, too." He paused, then chuckled and said humorously, "I'm guessing that he doesn't know about me though, yet."

Flying around the outer edge of the colony, Kamon was lost in thought, absentmindedly watching for anything. 'With Nick gone we'll have some tough battles ahead... what if losing him doomed us..? No.. can't think that way, it'll only cause me to mess up...' Without even noticing, he ran into a small meteor, doing a small bit of damage on Arashi's shoulder. 'Got to watch more carefully..' He cut it in two with the large blade, before continuing on, the nanites getting to work on the small hole. Arashi's v-fin was still missing, but he didn't care, it wasn't essential, and could always be replaced in a short time.

"Interesting. I wonder if we can apply this Backdraft technology to our mobile suits.... Alucard seems to have an affinity for solid shells, so I'll have to find a way to defend against them without sacrificing the MO's beam deflection. My family has developed a metal coating that can greatly reduce beam damage; your armor is angled like the Modus Operandi, so you wouldn't be able to deflect all of it, but the coating will promote heat transfer and lessen the damage. I can have your allies' and your Gundam's armor treated, if you like." After seeing what Adal had on his thumb drive, John made his way to the construction hangar to oversee development of the Modus Operandi III.

Kamon went back to the hangar, watching behind him in case he had been followed. He had finally come to terms with Nick's death, but it would stil haunt him, he knew it would. Climbing into Zero, he picked up the left wing which had fallen off earlier, and went into the CAS, to let it do the repairs necessary. Coming back out in the base Fire armor, he left Zero in an empty stall, and did the same with Arashi. Afterwords, he went into the CAS, to mess around with the armor configurations, trying to find a way to combine them, doubting he could. 'If I could get the speed from Raikou with the blades from Yaiba, it would be a force to be reckoned with, even more so than now..' He gave up after a while, going back to Arashi, to replace the v-fin.

Jack was very close to the small colony. He was glad to see somewhere safe for him and his daughter. She was asleep in his lap. Jack smiled as he looked at his daughter. She reminded him of her mother. Jack opened the hangar with a remote he had for the place but was surprised to see other suits. "Woops. Looks like I wasn't the only one with the idea of this place. Maybe their friendly?" Jack landed and opened his cockpit and picking up Arianne he hopped out landing as soft as he could but she still woke up.
"Dad? Are we there?" She was still half asleep.
"Yes. Go back to sleep. Umm, excuse me I came to find a safe place. Sorry if i'm intruding. I didn't know there would be others." Jack had called to a man replacing a v-fin.

Kamon pulled out a gun he had hidden, pointing it at the new man. "If you're with Backdraft then no, this isn't safe at all." He hadn't noticed the girl, but when he did he lowered his gun. "Sorry, I didn't see her. No way they would let someone so young in. If you're looking for a safe place, this is it, you'll have the best protection possible from those dogs." He turned back around, angry at himself for aiming a weapon at a defenseless little girl. "Don't come in so fast next time, give us some advance warning next time, I almost shot you without thinking." The v-fin was almost done, just needed to be painted. 'I almost shot a little girl's father... damn it... I'm getting jumpy..' Finishing up what little left there was to do, he walked out of the hangar, motioning for the newcomers to follow him. "Everyone, got some newcomers."

Jack had almost turned and ducked when he saw the gun but was thankful that the man lowered his weapon and sighed. "Thank you. Sorry for the scare. Like I said I didn't think anyone else would be here. Though i'm sure ackdraft wouldn't wanna mess with Gravis here. The names Jack Kinderlan and this is my daughter Arianne. If you've got some food i'd be very appriciative." Jack found a small couch in the hangar and placed Arianna down on it to sleep.

((@Strider: I like the new character. But would you mind changing just one details regarding his relationship with John? I like the idea of Nick's father knowing John's father. But John's always been a soldier, not a mechanic per se. Could you make it so John's brother or somebody was the chief mechanic for Jack? It just doesn't fit the picture I'm trying to paint of John.))

((Woops. I was going to name Jack John at first but then seeing as your character was John I changed it to Jack. Guess I missed a correction. Sorry Neo do you mind fixing that for me? sweatdrop ))

"Kinderlan... do you know a Nick by any chance?" Kamon's voice broke a bit at the mention of his ally's name, but he was able to maintain himself. "We do have some food, just follow me." He led Jack to the cafeteria, watching as he sat down and began to eat.

Jack busied himself eating before he answered. "Yes I know Nick. He's my son. Taught him everything there is to be about a gundam." Jack ate some more. He had given most of the provisions to Arianne on the trip here so she wouldn't be hungry. "Do you know him? Have you heard from him? I've been worried about him ever since the attack."

((fix'd. I'm trying to find subs for Gundam Unicorn. I can't find any yet. It makes me sad. I was even able to find F91..))
Kamon's head lowered, he didn't want to be the on to say it. "He was killed. He went back for a transport, and was blown to pieces..." He sat down, troubled by how he still felt weak whenever he thought about Nick's death.
