 David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | GeninAs the clone reached the top of the dunes, it realized something was wrong. Both the collapsed boy and it's master were gone! A look over it's shoulder also revealed that neither of the females had followed it, how annoying. Well, it had no way of knowing where the master had gone, and there was nothing left it needed to take care of, so it decided to release itself. As the will and chakra holding the clone together released, so did the dust from which it was created, a small puff of dust and the clone was gone, leaving only a small cloud to show it had been there. Even the cloud soon settled and was gone. Nearby, on an entirely different dune, David made an unpleasant discovery. As he was reading the taijutsu scroll he came upon an odd crease in the paper, and upon further examination, he realized it was a fold. Pulling apart the crease revealed an entire section of the scroll that was somehow stuck to the back and sealed. How it happened he didn't know, but now he understood why the move he had done was so complicated. The hidden section was the beginner moves, and he had tried to start with a lower intermediate move. With a frustrated growl, he began to read this new section of the scroll. [Chakra Point Total: 26/35]

Suddenly the clone that was in the sand dunes poofed and in it's place was a letter it said
" I am so sorry for keeping you, But i am just so swamped with academy students, and much more, so I understand if you are mad, if you need anything i myself will be in the tower the remaining clones will be in the academy and the training facility."

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | GeninAfter reading through the basic section of the scroll, David couldn't help but chuckle. The move he had done before was complicated, yes, but this one? It was the simplest thing he had ever seen in his life. It was a simple twist and hit for when someone snuck up behind you. The description claimed you normally aimed for the chin, but he had seen tons of purple dressed men use this move as a slap across the face. Okay, so it was a little more than a simple pimp slap, but the basis was similar enough. He wouldn't be able to practice the move alone, but he decided it was simple enough to chalk up the knowledge as having learned it. After all, nobody could come right out and tell him he hadn't done it, seeing as they hadn't seen him one way or the other. So long as he could do it in combat, that was what mattered. Moving to the next listing in the scroll, David blinked, and stared. This made very little sense... "No way am I doing that." He finally muttered, moving right on by the strange stance described in the scroll. Skimming past techniques further down, he realized these would be impossible to practice alone, and there was no way he would waste chakra on clones to kill. The style itself though, simply emphasized flexibility and fluidity. he could handle that, seeing as he had discovered both were needed to fully utilize his sand control. "Time to go." David muttered, standing up and stuffing the scroll into his pocket. He had had enough training for the day. It was time to see if there were missions available. Or people to kill. Preferably both. Wouldn't that be nice, a mission to kill someone. Too bad they saved those for high ranking ninja, he'd have enjoyed a good massacre. Thus it was that with a smile on his face, David set out for the kazekage's tower. 'I still need to learn her name...'[Chakra Point Total: 26/35]

She walked down the dune with an ease in her step, not at all hindered by the troublesome, slippery sand. She had been born and raised as a Suna nin; sand was part of her life. Marlene knelt down by the note, picking it up and reading it. "Tsk." Marlene clicked her tongue, tucking away the note and turning on the toes of her wooden shoes and began walking to the training facility.

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | GeninEntering the dunes once more, David smiled. The place really was calming to him, he didn't know why, but it was. Maybe it was just that the sheer quantity of sand made him feel safe. Either way, it was a good place to be for the sand user. Slowly walking through the sands, David made sure he was out of sight of the village gate before settling down in an open space. It was a small clearing of sorts, smoother than the rest of the desert landscape. Perfect for the doton jutsu that would be used here soon. While he waited for the two boys to arrive, David sat down and pulled the large scroll he had taken from the library out of his pack and opened it. The scroll contained things he could do himself normally, but altered for the use of normal shinobi. It would be highly useful for extracting ideas from. Although he had one idea already that he wanted to try out. But not yet. First he would get rid of the kids, then he would practice that particular technique. [Chakra Point Total: 35/35]

He quickly entered the Dunes following David " Sorry I took so long; I got lost on my way here, this is my first time in the dunes if you didn't notice" he said as he watched David examining a scroll " So is that the scroll whit my new epic combo?" he then asked David.

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi Host | Genin"Nope." David smirked, rolling up the scroll and setting it to the side. "That one is mine. Yours is in these." He said, holding up the two small scrolls the boys had found, and tossing Akura the one for the barrier jutsu, Rams head. "I don't even have to look at the scroll on that to tell you the basic way it works. But you may want to confirm it for yourself." He said, indicating that the boy should open the scroll and start reading while he finished. "It's going to tell you to push your chakra into the ground, and 'lift' a mound of it out. Pretty simple concept really, if you work with manipulation at all." With that, David opened the next scroll, skimming through it while he waited for the boy to figure out the other. This one was honestly more interesting to him, because he could adapt the system behind it for use with his sand. [Chakra Point Total: 35/35]

Akura caught the scroll and opened it, " Hm, this seams very similar to my other jutsu; Doton: Doroku Gaeshi (Earth Release: Rock Shield), only that this one takes more of an artistic turn if you look at it from a certain perspective." He said to David, Akura then sat down and began to skim through the scroll so he would know basicly what he was doing and also to prove his hunch, " Alright; Ohitsuji Kashira (Ram head)
Description: A basic earth protection jutsu where a small, curved wall about the size of the creator is created. It can deflect shuriken and fire jutsu but is weakened by raiton jutsu. For every rank, the wall grows 5 feet by 5 feet." he though as he let go of the scroll and got to his feet, he then made the needed seals "Ohitsuji Kashira (Ram head)" he said as the ground rose a little and formed a small vertion of the intended jutsu. He then made the seals once agien " This time, I'll get it right, Ohitsuji Kashira (Ram head), Suddenly a piece of stone that resembled a Ram got up from the ground, Akura then jumped ontop of it, " So David, what do you think about this?" he said while he had a smile on his face due to his acomplishment.

Kay Tai-ichi Aburame Location; SunagakureI will become stronger… Kay had been following Akura the whole time, but being lost had no real effect on him. He was trying to refrain from attaching a paper bomb to Akura's back the wole time. Instead, he followed in silence. The boy had shown quite well that he stuck to the basics and didn't do well at improving on them, but that one one thing. This was entirely different. The boy had somehow managed to take the name of the jutsu literally, and form a statue of a ram! Which admittedly was pretty cool, and fitting considering what they were going to try. "I probably don't want to know how you did that..." David muttered, still not quite done with his staring. "Alright, you've got that one down, time for the next." He cut himself off, tossing the boy his other scroll. "The basis of this one is to 'push' the earth in front of you. In any case of manipulation, the key is to visualize. Go through the motions the scroll dictates, and visualize your chakra flowing under the surface of the earth, latching on, and pulling it with itself." That said, he decided to try it out for himself. He had read the scroll, deciphered the less mentioned aspects, he could probably pull it off simply enough. Kneeling down David laid his hands on the ground and began to run his chakra through the ground like he had told Akura to. It was surprisingly difficult for him to feel the ground with a jutsu in mind, seeing as he was on sand. The sand wanted to just jump up and do what he was asking it to do it seemed like, but he forced that inclination down, sealing it into a corner of his mind until the sand stayed where it was, like the dirt it was meant to be for this technique. Finally, once he had that settled, he released the power he had been storing in the ground, a small patch of the loose sand breaking apart from the rest, and lurching forward quickly, eventually a path of sorts formed, about twenty feet long of moving sand. Finally David cut himself off, the ground returning to it's natural form as he wiped a bead of sweat from his forehead. "Never let me do that with sand again." He panted out. Using an earth jutsu to do the job, while holding back his own natural ability had taken a toll on his stamina. "You try it now, it'll be less taxing on you considering what I did to make it work." David said, waving towards an open patch of ground. "Save moving the statue for later." Turning his head towards Kay he gave a crooked smile. "Sorry about that, forgot you were there for a second." He apologized, tossing him the scroll he had found. "Get that one down, and I'll show you something to mix with it." He said, pushing himself back to his feet. The exertion from his stunt just now already wearing off. "That one can be mixed with a good number of things, but I can only think of one right now. Fits your style though." He promised, leaning into a nearby dune. "I don't have much experience with wind techniques, so I can't explain it as well as I can earth. It says that you need to know the kaze bunshin though, so I expect the concept is the same." [Chakra Point Total: 33/35]

[Mission/Learning Post: 1/1] Do not try moving the statue yet. Moving it is going to pretty much be a third jutsu, which doesn't go on your profile list. Kay, David doesn't have any experience with wind, despite his innate ability to use the element, so he can't really tell you much on it. The jutsu he has in mind to mix with it should be fun though. And it does fit your style.

Akura jumped down from the ram head and gently landed beside David, he then looked at him " Um, David, I already know the other Jutsu you told me to try out so what now?" he asked the boy a little scared of how he would react to this.
