Name of Taijutsu Style Run of the Speed Demon
Pic if you want one:
If it's a weapon style what is the intended weapon: Can use bladed shoes, but aren't necessary.
Requirements Speed shinobi
Description: Run of the Speed Demon is a taijutsu style started as a dance tumblers and acrobats used. It evolved into a way of moving and then into a way of fighting. Using speed and momentum and transferring it into power a master can destroy somebody before they even draw their weapon.

It uses a lot of flips, spins, and rolling maneuvers and is extremely flashy. Most techniques cannot be used at a stand still and require frequent motion of the user. Run of the Speed Demon uses a lot of kicks and throws. The user must be extremely flexible and agile.

Stage one
Academy student

The academy student builds up their all around strength by wearing weights on their torso, arms, and legs. They train by running and doing stunts with the weights on for 5 posts. The student keeps these weights on. At this stage the user mainly focuses on speed and movement.

Maneuvers

Flash Drop:
The user bends their knees and falls backward. They put their arms behind them and land on their hands. This is essential to the style because it makes a good way to start most break-dance related maneuvers. It also is a good way to dodge a attack.

Flash Roll:
Using the same basis as Flash Drop the user rolls forward.

Windmill Kick:
The user stands on their hands and holds their legs out. They use their hands to move spin their body making their legs spin like a top causing anybody damage to anybody in their way.

Stage Two
Genin

Now the user of Run of the Speed Demon will know the basics of the style. The genin must double the weight of the weights and train the same as before this time for 10 posts. The user now focuses on kicks while still learning some more advanced movement techniques

Maneuvers

Flip Kick:
The user moves fast towards their target. They stop suddenly and jump forward simultaneously jumping forward causing a flip the user tucks their knees against their chest and holds just above the knee. The forward momentum causes a lot of force. The force behind this kick can break concrete and rock.

Top spin:
The user jumps on their heads and crosses their legs and arms. They use their core to spin at incredible speeds creating a type of whirlwind around them. All physical attacks or jutsu directed towards them will slow down and cause less damage, unless the attacking shinobi is a lower rank than the user. If the shinobi is a lower rank the attack will stop completely. Useful when there is a attack that will be impossible to dodge.

Rank three
Chunin

The user has now almost mastered the style. Techniques like Top Spin and Windmill Kick are now twice as effective. Training for this rank is tripling the second ranks weight and training for 15 posts. The chunnin would have mastered the movement and now focuses on throws.

Grapple Flip:
The user grabs their target either using their legs or arms and flips high. In the air the user hurtles the victim to the ground using the momentum from the speed and the flip.

Kamikaze Spin Dive:
The user jumps into the air towards their target and spins rapidly increasing their speed. The user slams into the target with their head causing small damage to the user but greater damage to the target.

Entwined Leg:
The user kicks at the opponent and instead of making contact they twist their leg around one of the targets limbs. This can be used for a great many things and would be a basis in many of the styles throwing maneuvers.
Rank Four
Jounin

The user is now a master of the style. The user can now use the most advanced techniques of the style. To train for this the user must increase the last weight by ten times and train for two weeks in real life.

Maneuvers

Extreme Hammer Drop:
From extreme heights the user entwines their fingers together creating a simple hammer strike. The user then flips down towards the ground creating a rapid flip that continues until the user hits the ground. The spinning hammer strike is enough to destroy whole buildings.

Devastating Grip:
The user jumps on the back of the target and holds onto the neck of the target with their arms and wraps their legs around their torso. The user then tightens their grip and holds the target tightly. Can break bones and if done right choke the target.

Name of Taijutsu Style: The Art of Bar Brawling
User Image
If it's a weapon style what is the intended weapon:Fist
Description: While bars have never been common place in the ninja community more and more seem to be working their ways into villages and towns, as such a kind of fighting style has evolved out of the bars. One of pure unorthodoxy. It is a chaotic and mad style with no form of grace or charm that is normally found in martial arts, it's pure bloody hell.

The Key of Bar Brawling lies in the users unpredictability and ingenuity. Users learn how to turn any common bar item into a deadly weapon. Also Bar Brawling relies on grappling, and getting the best of your for in a raw battle of strength, but also in speed and agility to outfox your foe as well.

Academy Student-
At the AS level, users learn basic grappling and uses of uncommon weaponry.
Basic Grappling- While anyone can grapple, a user at this level has spent enough time in choke holds and giving them to know a thing or two more then the common man and thus will have the upper hand in a grapple unless the other person is trained as well.

Uncommon Weaponry( Basic)- A bottle, a chair, a 2x4. All of these things can be used as a weapon in an emergency. However, the user has spent many a fight having to use such improvisational weapons and thus can be called...skilled...in their use.

Genin-
At Genin level, the users learns the swagger step and how to fight dirty.
Swagger Step- The Swagger Step resembles a drunk man swaggering about the room. Random and without control. This allows the users to throw many faints at any part of the body before striking at their true target.

Dirty Fighting- After many a bar fight, the user will do whatever it takes to win in a fight. Nothing is above them once a punch is thrown. They can use anything in their environment or anything they have on them to the best of their abilities to win.

Chunnin-
At the Chunnin level, the users learns Cheap Shot and Uncommon Weaponry (Advanced)

Cheap Shot- Fighting so many people reveals common weak points, the users knows theses points now and can strike at them with precision. If landed, the foe is stunned in pain for a post, giving the user time to act.

Uncommon Weaponry (Advanced)- While most objects won't last long in a fight, the user has a way to preserve the durability of an improvised weapon he picks up. By using 5 chakra points, the users hardens their item to a point where it will not break on anything less than an actual weapon. When paired against a real weapon, the item will take 10 strikes before it breaks.

Jounin-
At the Jounin Level, the users learns Advanced Grappling and Intellectual Fighting.

Advanced Grappling- At this point, the user is a Grappling Master. He can out grapple anyone in a fight with ease unless they have had proper training or are just as experienced with grapples as him.

Intellectual Fighting- One moment in life a revelation struck the user, he can't win all his fighting just by being dirty. At this point, this is when intellect comes in handy. The user has an almost encyclopedic amount of information on weak points in the human body, other fighting styles and on how to provoke anger.

Sannin/Kage-
The user learns Drunken Step and Uncommon Weaponry (Mastery)

Drunken Step- An advanced form of Swagger Step, the user for all intensive purposes is drunk. His movements become even more unpredictable and random, and his pain receptacles are dulled. He feels almost no pain and has an uncanny amount of fortitude and endurance.

Uncommon Weaponry (Mastery)- At this level the user can use 10 chakra points to fortify an improvised weapon so well, it can go toe to toe with any forged weapon.

Alright. I'll edit as I go along. Don't get pissed if I look at somebody's before I look at yours.

@Sayonara: This isn't very well put together. You need to thoroughly explain how each level works and how the fighting style evolves with the user. They don't start able to understand the style at Genin. This needs a lot more work. Please go through and add descriptions of how the user will be learning new methods rather than just techniques. Also, describe the type of training that the user must use.

@Azure: Well please add the new methods of fighting for each stage. Like...Genin: The user focuses on legs for attack and mainly uses kicks, etc. Chuunin: The user must focus on this move or that move and will be more adept with kicks. Stuff like that. Just like I said for Sayonara.

@Six Paths God: Same for you. You people need to label how each stage works and what it does for the user as they learn it.

@Crimson: I approved. Could use a little more work on the construction, but it looks great.

@Nerdbot: Approved. Same as Crimson. Could use a little more work, but it looks good so far.

@Cobra: As always, you do an excellent job on creating Customs. I completely approve in every way and now desire to use this. O.o!!!

Name of Taijutsu StyleThe Great Pulse Sword ((Was originally the Immovable sword and sheath.))
Pic if you want one:
If it's a weapon style what is the intended weapon: Swords of any size and shape.
Description:
This style of fighting was born from pure tenacity and constant, unstoppable training by Cain Aburame. He was trained in both the flawlessly perfect and Infinite one sword styles, making him deadly in every thinkable way. Once he had gotten up to the chuunin level of each one, he began creating this, his own sword fighting. At each stage, the user will learn that being fast and strong is nothing without proper self-control. This lesson is also why the user must have a decent amount of chakra control to learn this style.

Stage 1:
AS
The training involves wearing weights around the arms and legs during the duration of the training. These will be 45 pounds each, and the student must move around while wearing them. After this training the user should have gained strength and speed that would be unbearable to other untrained ninja of the same level, but they still aren't very strong.

No Techniques are learned yet.

Stage 2
Genin
The weights are now fifty pounds, but the initial training isn't used anymore. The user is now given a sword and taught the basics of attacking and defending. They will also be taught how to throw a katana with a small veil of chakra that would make penetration much easier, and helps to guide it. Having a seal with multiple swords would be a good idea for the practitioner.

Bullseye: A practitioner learning this technique will not only be able to throw katana, but shuriken, kunai, and senbon with equal ease. The technique is passive, allowing you to constantly be better at aiming your projectiles.

FCJ ((Full chakra Jacket)) Projectiles: This technique will require you infuse a blade with chakra and then throw it, allowing the chakra to make the blade much more deadly, and giving it a boost to penetration of objects. This katana would now easily go right through a tree.

Sho: A simple thrust that sends a short burst of chakra forth from the blade. This burst would even knock a chuunin off his feet if they defend the attack. Genin will be tossed back five feet. The thrust could only move about two feet from the user, as it is a defensive move.
Sosho: A double sho attack that thrusts in twice instead of once.

Stage three:
Chuunin
The user will now be given the sheith of his sword in addition to it and taught the core differences between evasion, attack, and defense. Cains words to go with these lessons are: "When you defend something, don't let your enemy touch it. When you evade, don't let them touch you. When you attack, let them be cut!" This in mind, these strikes are often quick and deadly in order to switch cleanly between attack and defense. The weights are bumped up to fifty five pounds. The strength is now much higher than it should be, the user easily able to create a fissure in a tree with a single punch or quick, and slice through it just as easy. They also train for better aim. Note that the training for strength and speed, aim, and techniques most be done separately. The only required training for this though is the strength and speed part, as this is what will fuel the evasion defense and offense.

Veil: This technique requires you use the sheath with both hands, meaning you would have to sheath the blade in order to properly use it. With chakra, the user creates a shield in front of them by pushing out with the sheath. This attack is effective against C rank techniques and lower, and will fade away after being hit by one. It renders projectiles and most taijutsu in effective. (Stage three and above could break through it.)

Wave-to-dash: After performing Veil, the user quickly unsheaths the blade which sends the chakra from the shield out in a wave that soars outward towards the enemy, knocking them off their feet and opening them for a second attack. It is a useful counter attack, but it has a range of only ten meters before it is less than a refreshing breeze to the opponent.

High Roller: This is a difficult technique to master because of the focus and timing. The user will dash back to dodged an attack and then push forward before the user has time to recover from it and slices upwards in an attempt to not only deal a deadly blow, but get the enemy off his feet.

Stage four:
Jounin
No the practitioner should be easily one of the most deadly of his village. Instead of a sheath, the practitioner can fight with both swords as well as throwing them with the accuracy of a kunai. The weights are now 60 pounds, and the practitioner should have the strength after wards to knock down a tree with ease, and slice it in four pieces within three seconds. It is necessary to own a scroll with a multitude of blades for this level though. For most, this is as far as you will go though...

Saw: Chakra is infused in the blade when it is through much like viel. Instead, the blade will spin like a shuriken once thrown, and the effects are obvious. Possible decapitation, disembowelment, loss of limbs. It is, however, easy to doge.

Double down: This is one of the most deadly techniques Cain came up with. From up above the target, the practitioner will use the two blades to come down over the opponent with both blades infused with a dense chakra that can saw through nearly anything organic, and most bladed weapons. The downsides are it's in accuracy, and that the blades are destroyed on impact with the ground.

Dancing Death: The practitioner will summon numerous blades and then begin to spin on his heels, tossing three blades at his enemy. If they are lucky enough to dodge the blades, they will have to block the spinning top of a man, who is holding a blade in each hand. The user can stop and reverse the spin's rotation on a dime, making it hard to predict. If the enemy tries to run the practitioner could easily throw the blade at them. This could go on for quite a while, seeing as how the user could just pick up his blades and then keep on going with this dance. Afterwards, the user will feel extremely dizzy, and slightly nauseated. Effective for three posts afterwards. ((Technique lasts five posts))

Sannin/S level/Kage
Kay will have trained his body through doing push ups with 80 pound weights on, and other things of the sort. Even with the weights, he will be as fast and strong as a man using the third gate, and will have strength and stamina to go on in battle for years. His accuracy is to where he could hit a fly from two hundred meters away while dizzy without killing it.

Outrageous: This technique is just what the name says. The practitioner will summon all of his blades and throw them one at a time at his opponent while spinning in the air ((Similar to rising twin dragons.)) The difference is that each of theses blades spin like saws or have the veil on them, making them outrageously hard to defend.

Not over: After using the previous technique, the victim will notice each blade, no matter if they hit or not, will be surrounding them in a vertical stance. The user will spin in a fashion similar to the Dancing Death technique on each blade, and the combo will go on like normally, only now the combo will be even more deadly as the user is attacked from all sides by the twirling opponent. ((Lasts five posts, dizziness will continue for five posts))

Bakemono Tsurugi no Kata
Phantom Blade Style
User Image

Style Description:
A style created in the mountains of the Demon Country. A young boy created this style in his ambition to surpass his own limits when it came to speed. This style creates an afterimage made a chakra to attack and speed to confuse the enemy, while attacking from multiple angles. Weapons are used because a clean hit from a weapon can usual take down most foes. It is known as the Phantom Blade Style because the user appears and disappears so fast you would swear you were being attack by ghosts.

Style Basis: Any light to medium bladed weapon may be used, preference a katana sword.

Training Methods: Weight training is used to help build up speed and flexibility, as well as chakra control to produce afterimages, finally sword training to improve attack. Each Stage takes 10 posts to learn, with 10 stages that is 100 posts to master this style. There is no training benefit or penalty when learning this, it takes 100 posts total no more no less.

Movement: Attacking from multiple angles which are accomplished by speed and flexibility.

Stage 1: Stage of Beginnings
Academy
Description: The first stage is muscle training; the user starts out with training with heavy weights tied to their arms, legs, and chest and weighing at least half their weight. This is because a high level of speed is needed though out the entire style so the muscles must be developed early. This also helps with sword swings, another crucial part.

Training: While wearing the weights the user with practice shadow boxing by punching and dodging an imaginary opponent for at least 10 posts.

Stage 2: Stage of Focus
Genin
Description: After the muscles begin to develop the user practices one of the key moves of the style, the Afterimage Clone. An afterimage clone is when the user releases a burst of chakra while moving and the clone will continue the movement of the user. This allows the user to continue with the attack for double damage, or allows them to attack from a different angle while the clone attacks from a different angle.

Training: With the weights still on the user continues attacking and dodging but while doing so they release bursts of chakras to create afterimage clones, they don’t practice combos with them yet just creating the clones, also helps with muscle training. Train for 10 posts.

Regular Techniques:

Afterimage Clone: An Afterimage Clone is a solid clone that cannot perform any jutsu and cannot be controlled. It is formed by releasing chakra from the users pours and holds what the user is holding; though because of the crude matter it is formed it lasts no more than a few seconds (1 post). When formed it keeps the stance the user was in when created and travels in the direction the user was going.

Special Techniques:
Sidestep: The user dodges an attack by making the opponent think they hit you but really they hit the afterimage clone making a counter easy.

Stage 3: Stage of Dedication
Genin
Description: While at this point the user’s muscles are well developed the legs need more work. The cornerstone of this style is speed so the user will spend this stage developing that with running and heavier weights.

Training: The user will dawn heavier weights as heavy as the user themselves. The user will then jog though the woods, dashing between trees and swinging their arms to build up the muscles in their arms, but more so the muscles in the legs will be highly developed. The user runs for 10 posts.

Stage 4: Stage of Wisdom
Genin
Description: This stage doesn’t add anything new to the style but more of a test. The user puts together everything they have learned up to this point. The user will shadow box with the weights on and while punching and dodging create Afterimage Clones to combo and counter. This stage just makes sure the user can actually use the style the way it was intended, also so that the user can add weapons to the style.

Training: The user will shadow box for 10 posts attacking and dodging, while creating Afterimage clones that will do the same. Weights are stilled used to build up muscles.

Regular Technique:
Afterimage Burst: The user releases his clones with great force that the expulsion of chakra actually gives the user a boost in speed and leaves a clone in their wake that confuses the opponent.

Special Technique:
Afterimage Circle: Applying the Afterimage Burst Technique the user will circle the opponent and letting out bursts of chakra to gain speed and leaves clones in the wake. They circle to confuse the opponent and while they are confused the clones will attack the opponent one by one, or in a group.

Stage 5: Stage of Understanding
Chunin
Description: After getting down the basics the user finally adds a weapon to the mix. The weapon of choice is a sword, but any will do. This allows for multiple deadly strikes that anyone can be fatal. The sword comes later in training because the user must exert extra chakra in order to replicate their weapon since it has no chakra points. It cannot duplicate the effect of custom weapons they would act just like a regular weapons.

Training: The user practices attacking with a sword for 5 posts. Then creating clones with them holding a weapon for 5 posts.

Regular Technique:
Simultaneous Slash: The user swings their sword while releasing afterimages in the wake; this causes several swords to follow in the path of the first one. So when the first one hit, the rest follow making a single slash feel like many.

Special Technique:
Multi-Slash: The user swings their sword but instead of releasing the afterimages behind the first, they have it above and below making it hit one person in several places at once, this is also great for multiple enemies.

Stage 6: Stage of Aggression

Chunin
Description: At this point the style is understood, now all there is to do is improve of the basics. The user pushes their bodies to the limit in physical, mental, and chakra. The fruits of this are the ability to produce multiple clones at once, to turn one person into a squad, to turn one person into a force.

Training: The user will stand still as they practice releasing chakra from every pour of their body, which will take 5 posts. The user will then practice releasing chakra from their body and molding into clones, this takes another 5 posts.

Normal Techniques:

Block and Slash: A technique used for both defense and offense. When the user is attacked they will move back and forth quickly but then block the attack, an afterimage clone will pop out of both sides of the user and attack the opponent while all their momentum was placed into the attack. This can also be used when the user attack and the opponent blocks.

Special Techniques

Attack from Everywhere: A technique used for both defense and offense. When the user is attacked they will move back and forth quickly but then block the attack, two afterimage clone will pop out of both sides of the user and surround the opponent in a pentagon stance as the 4 clones will attack the opponent while all their momentum was placed into the attack. This can also be used when the user attack and the opponent blocks.

Stage 7: Stage of Power
Chunin
Description: A quote once told to the creator of this style, “Two in harmony, surpass one in perfection.” This has been taken to heart and incorporated into this style. The user now uses two blades instead of one, the user will train with these weapons until wielding them is as simple as moving a finger. While this style doesn’t add anymore moves, it increases the deadliness of everything else.

Training: The user will now wear weights twice their normal weight and simple practice attacking with one sword and following up with the other for 10 posts.

Stage 8: Stage of Perseverance
Jonin
Description: The body has reached its limit at this point, the user has reached the peak of speed, and any more muscular increase will just end up slowing the user down. Any attempts to increase speed past this will result in muscle damage and tearing. Though refusing to subcome to human limitations the creator of this style borrowed a move from the ration element. By using the principles of the Electric Overdose Jutsu, the users infuse their muscles and body with chakra, but instead of increasing their weight they decrease it by about half. This allows the speed of the user to double and if forced to triple, but that is when damage occurs.

Training: The user removes all weights and will just stand still as they focus on intertwining their chakra into their muscles and focusing on making their body lighter, this takes 10 posts

Normal Techniques:
Light as a Feather: By using the principles of the Electric Overdose Jutsu, the users infuse their muscles and body with chakra, but instead of increasing their weight they decrease it by about half as well as increasing flexibility. This allows the speed of the user to double and if forced to triple, but that is when damage occurs.

Special Techniques:
Real Afterimage Clones: Because of the users new found speed, they move so fast that they create real afterimages in their wake. These are merely illusions though and cannot cause damage what so ever, they are mainly used to confuse the opponent into attacking them thinking they are real.

Stage 9: Stage of Control
Jonin
Description: Speed has been mastered at this point, but now it is about controlling it because power without control leads to destruction. The user now works on being able to go from standstill to high speed, once this is learned the user works on releasing clones from a standstill position to high speed. This is more of a tactical approach, watching the battle field as your clones attack. The user is also able to keep their clones out longer than previously.

Training: The user remains still and just focuses on pouring out chakra fast and precise for 5 posts. They then focus on creating clones that can last longer than a few seconds which takes 5 more posts.

Normal Techniques:
Advance Afterimage Clone: These clones are the same as afterimages clones though they last longer, up to 3 posts as opposed to the 1post of the original. These clones can block with their weapons but once the weapon it hit once it disappears and once the clones are hit they disappear.

Special Techniques

Twin Sword Kill: A personal favorite of the creator. The user will remain at standstill and take a stance with their two swords in order to keep the opponent watching them for movements. Suddenly they will go from standstill to high speed and appear right in front of the opponent with swords ready. They will stab forward with their sword right at the opponents heart at high speed, if the opponent happens to dodge they will then attack with the other sword aiming at the heart at full speed since the opponent will most likely not dodge far enough out of range.

Stage 10: Stage of Mastery
S-Rank
Description: The final stage of the style is by far the most deadly and powerful. This level of the style may only be taught by the creator and master of this style Kiyoshi Hyuga. The user afterimage clones have become so advance that each clone can make a clone, allowing for a deadly surprise though once a clone has made a clone both disappear in a matter of seconds, though that might be all the time that is needed.

Training:
Like the previous stage the user releasing chakra to create clones, but then those clones need to release chakra as well to create clones of their own which takes 10 posts

Normal Techniques:
Master Afterimage Clones: The final level of the clones, where clones can make other clones. However when a clone makes a clone, both clones disappear in 1 post. These clones can block with their weapons but once the weapon it hit once it disappears and once the clones are hit they disappear.

Special Techniques:
Twenty Swords of Death: The ultimate technique of this style. The user will circle the opponent at high speeds releasing clones as they do and they are running to. The clones then make more clones that circle the opponent in a smaller circle in the opposite way. While the opponent remains alert and confused suddenly the user is surrounded by 5 of the user that form a pentagon around him, the clones are less than 2 feet from the opponent and they each take a sword and stab downwards aiming for the neck and shoulders, take their other sword and stab upward aiming for the legs, then from the gaps between the clones 2 blades on each gap shoot out totaling 10 more swords. Five of those swords aim for the chest right where the heart is, and the other five aim at the between the ribs where the major organs are. The speed of this is compared to the 7th gate, however after this move is used the user moves at -2 speed ranks, if done again the users muscles rip and they are unable to continue fighting. It takes one full week to recover without the aid of a medical ninja.

@Six:
- A genin being able to throw a katana with the same ease of throwing a kunai, shuriken or senbon? If you meant with the same accuracy, then it is fine, just change the description a bit, just to clear any possible misunderstanding. If not, did you really mean it? A genin being able to throw a katana easily, as if it was a kunai, is kind of a ridiculous thing and there is no way I'd approve it.

- Full Chakra Cloak, I'm sure there are other jutsu similar to this ability, in my point of view it is fine, but if someone else says the opposite then this technique will be reviewed if needed. Also, I'd like to know about the chakra costs. How much chakra is used by this technique, per throw, use or post. (Doesn't matter to me the way you measure the costs, as long as you state the amount of chakra spent.)

- Sho, Hadou n° 1? Anyway, how exactly is the technique performed? Just move the sword? Say the name of the technique? Just think and it happens? And what is the chakra cost?

- Sosho, same as Sho

- Veil, being effective up to C rank techniques, alright, and I suppose the chakra cost would be of a C rank technique too? About being able to render projectiles, of up to what size?

- Wave-to-dash, chakra cost?

- Saw, chakra cost?

- Double down, chakra cost?

- S rank, I hope you really didn't mean everything you said in the description of the S rank stage. Being able to fight for years and hit a fly while dizzy seems very exaggerated. There are people who could make use of that, to be able, for example, to throw a sword or another projectile after using that spinning move, and claim that he or she would be able to aim carefully, when even walking properly would be difficult.

- Two more things, what are the requirements to go from one stage to the other? And, it doesn't matter how much the user can lift per stage, if he or she isn't a taijutsu specialist, it is obvious that a taijutsu specialist of the same rank will be stronger physically.

Well, for most techniques the chakra cost equals that of the rank it's filed under if it uses chakra, but other than that moves like high roller don't have a cost. I guess that S ranked description can be tweaked.

I shall edit the rest today.

I like this style, and it looks well balanced to me, I approve, but only on one condition... you have to let me learn this at some point blaugh

If you dont like the dice rolling thing feel free to offer a better solution. It is my attempt to keep this style from becoming an absolute defense. I also listed the weaknesses, since they may not be apparent right away.

Quote:
Staff of ten-thousand trees

If it's a weapon style what is the intended weapon: The Staff
A staff is a dangerous tool in the correct hands, and it is able to create a ferocious defense that is very difficult to pass. The Staff of Ten-Thousand Trees, is an upgraded way of using a staff in combination with powerful Mokuton jutsu. This style can be learned by anyone, but can only be mastered past Special Jounin by Mokuton users. Non-Mokuton users cannot learn any of the jutsu. It is available to all villages. Unlike other weapon styles, one does not Focus on attacking their opponnent, but only attacking when they get close. While the staff can be used more offensively, it is difficult to keep proper form, and reaction time is dulled. The Staff of Ten-Thousand Trees is slow and weak when used offensively, but defensively it is fast and strong enough to make almost any other taijutsu user nervous. The staff is a two handed weapon that can adapt quickly to the situation.
Staff length: must be between 5 to 6 feet long, depending on the height of the user.
Effective range: Can be changed anywhere between full length of staff to half length . Plus arm length

Stage 1: Basics
Academy Student

Staff users must first learn how to use their weapon. They are to practice basic strikes and blocks. Students are directed to focus on keeping their movements smooth and quick, strength will take care of itself in time. Students also learn to adjust their hand position on the staff to change effective range. At this time, their staff is almost useless unless they are standing still. When standing still, they are fast enough to block other AS ranked taijutsu styles. (unless they hold an advantage over you such as weapon specialist or rank) Their defense encompasses a half sphere in front of them. Back is unprotected.
Training: Training can be alone or with an opponent.
Alone: to perform the training alone, The student must fight a rotating practice dummy for 10 posts. A rotating dummy forces them to learn to time their attacks defensively, when the dummy "arms" come around to strike, the student strikes back.
With Opponent: The student must fight an opponent in real time for 5 posts each. The opponent must be armed, preferably with a practice sword or another staff. The opponent, is to attack the student and the student is to deflect the attacks.

Next, the student must practice what he/she has learned for 5 posts alone by fighting an imaginary opponent. Except, they are to quickly move their hands along the staff, and learn how to adjust the distance of their strikes.

Stage 2: Speed
Genin

The student must perform the same training as before, this time focusing on moving faster. They are still almost useless when moving, but standing still they can not only block AS ranked taijutsu, but leave them with a nasty bruise for getting too close. Genin level taijutsu will find it very difficult to land a blow on the user.

Stage 3: Mokuton
Genin

Once the user unlocks their Mokuton abilities they learn to use the workhorse jutsu of the style, Mokuton Infusion. This can be used without handsigns.

Mokuton Infusion I:
Rank biggrin
Does not require hand-seals. The user takes a moment to coat the ends of their staff with a thick bark. This adds minimal weight, and a slight increase in hitting power. The rough bark also tears at the skin. A blow that would have simply bruised before, now comes with a nice painfull scrape as well. This only cuts through the skin at most. Lasts 5 posts, automatically deactivates if dropped.

training: the user must have unlocked Mokuton, they must then learn the jutsu as they would any genin ranked jutsu while holding their staff. They must then spend 4 more posts training with the jutsu active to get used to the way it must be handled due to the weight change.

Stage 3: More Basics
Chuunin

A man who practices the same punch 1000 times is to be feared more than a man who practices 10,000 punches 1 time. Basics are the core of any proper martial art, and reinforcing them is what gives you an edge. So it is time to practice them. At this rank, the user hits faster, and stronger. Hand to hand combat is no longer very effective against the user.
While moving, their hits are one rank weaker and slower.
While still, A Chuunin level taijutsu user will be able to hit about 20% of the time. Hand to hand users get hit hard at this level. If the staff hits, it will leave painful bruises and can fracture bones.
Training: You must perform the stage1: trainingX2, this time focusing on both speed and power.
[Optional:] Learn Mokuton Infusion II

Mokuton Infusion II
Rank: C
Does not require hand-seals. The user takes a moment to coat their entire staff in a thick strong wood. This time, it is smooth, but an added touch adds both strength and weight. The user puts just a little more Doton than Suiton, creating a very hard wood. A direct hit by a C-ranked jutsu will break the wood coating. Lasts only 3 posts. Immediately deactivates if dropped.

Stage4: Crippling Defense
Jounin

The user practices primarily on strength. Their speed doesn't develop as quickly as it did before, but when they hit it is crippling.
While Moving the user hits a rank slow and weaker
While still the user can block ninjutsu up to D-rank. Jounin will find 50% of the time they can hit the user. For Special Jounin it is very difficult to get a hit in. If the staff hits the enemy, it can cause severe damage muscle tissue making it difficult to move. A direct hit can break bones or break normal weapons.
Training: 25 posts training with a lead staff that would otherwise be useless in battle.

Stage 5: Rounding it all out
Sannin/Kage

At this stage, the trains both speed and strength training to round everything out.
While moving, the user hits a rank slower and weaker.
While Still, Can block jutsu up to C-rank. Jounin have a 10% chance to hit. Sannin have a 30 h;ance to hit.

Weakness:

While the taijutsu style creates a formidable defense that can cause severe damage, their back is vulnerable. While they can turn, they are weak when moving. It becomes awkward performing hand-seals while holding the staff.

Determining if it hit?

In all casesa higher rank ninja always has at least a 60% chance to hit.
To determine if they hit you roll a 10 sided die. a 10% chance to hit would mean a roll of 1 would be a hit. a 20% chance would mean a roll of 2 or 1 would hit. etc.
Remember you are vulnerable from behind, and don't even try rolling a dice if it doesn;t make sense for you to be able to defend yourself.
the ability to block the attacks will depend on the ability of the user and of how much his/her movements were affected. It would be ridiculous to say one would be able to block an an attack without being able to move both arms for example just because the 10 sided die said so. Use good judgement and only attempt to block attacks that you could actually block. Remember only the higher ranks are capable of "blocking" ninjutsu.

potential students must pm me for permission to learn. (I'll probably accept)
PostPosted: Wed Jan 26, 2011 4:58 pm

@Hikaro: The general idea of a defensive weapon style is good, yet, using % to decide if an attack will land or not doesn't seem to fit the rp (In my point of view). The reason is because someone could easily use the chance of blocking to get out of most, if not every, dangerous situations. But, if you state that the results decided by the 10 sided die would be of attacks made while on an acceptable situation, then the weapon style is accepted. (By acceptable situation I mean only when the user really has any chance of blocking the attack.)

I really hate having to have that in there in the first place. I can do that, though if you can think of a way I can take that out without making the style go super OP I would really love to hear it. I think I'll add in a bit that makes it available to non Mokuton users, but they can't master it or learn any of the different Mokuton Jutsu.

Six_Paths_God
Name of Taijutsu StyleThe Great Pulse Sword ((Was originally the Immovable sword and sheath.))
Pic if you want one:
If it's a weapon style what is the intended weapon: Swords of any size and shape.
Description:
This style of fighting was born from pure tenacity and constant, unstoppable training by Cain Shizi.

NOTE: All techniques, when using chakra, will cost the same as it's rank. EX: Genin would cost D ranked chakra etc.

Stage 1:
AS
The training involves wearing weights around the arms and legs during the duration of the training.

To attain this stage the user most do three posts of strength and three posts of speed training with 50lb weights on them. They also must do three posts of accuracy training.

Bullseye: A practitioner learning this technique will not only be able to throw katana, but shuriken, kunai, and senbon with equal accuracy. The technique is passive, allowing you to constantly be better at aiming your projectiles. Note that weven with this throwing a katana is no easy task.

Sho: A simple thrust that sends a short burst of chakra forth from the blade. This burst would even knock a chuunin off his feet if they defend the attack. Genin will be tossed back five feet. The thrust could only move about two feet from the user, as it is a defensive move. Simply push towards your foe with the blade extended to push them chakra out.

Stage three:
Chuunin
The user will now be given the sheath of his sword in addition to it and taught the core differences between evasion, attack, and defense. They also train for better aim. Note that the training for strength and speed, aim, and techniques most be done separately. The only required training for this though is the strength and speed part, as this is what will fuel the evasion defense and offense. Four posts of each will do.

Veil: This technique requires you use the sheath with both hands, meaning you would have to sheath the blade in order to properly use it. With chakra, the user creates a shield in front of them by pushing out with the sheath. This attack is effective against D rank techniques and lower, and will fade away after being hit by one. It renders projectiles of kunai and shuriken size and most taijutsu in effective. (Stage three and above could break through it.) Paper bombs are effective no matter what.

The user will dash back to dodge an attack and then push forward before the user has time to recover from it and slices upwards in an attempt to not only deal a deadly blow, but get the enemy off his feet.

Stage four:
Jounin
No the practitioner should be easily one of the most deadly of his village. Instead of a sheath, the practitioner can fight with both swords as well as throwing them with the accuracy of a kunai. It is necessary to own a scroll with a multitude of blades for this level though. For most, this is as far as you will go. five posts of speed and strength, and four posts of accuracy training.

Saw: Chakra is infused in the blade. The blade will spin like a shuriken once thrown, and the effects are obvious.

His accuracy is to where he could hit a fly from two hundred meters away.

Outrageous: This technique is just what the name says. The practitioner will summon 20 of his blades and throw them one at a time at his opponent while spinning in the air ((Similar to rising twin dragons.)) The difference is that three blades spin like saws outrageously hard to defend. Every blade uses a single chakra point, up to a max of twenty swords.

I think I'll add in a bit that makes it available to non Mokuton users, but they can't master it or learn any of the different Mokuton Jutsu.

Just state that if the user isn't at normal conditions, such as slowed down, paralized, etc, by some jutsu, the ability to block the attacks will depend on the ability of the user and of how much his/her movements were affected. It would be ridiculous to say one would be able to block an an attack without being able to move both arms for example just because the 10 sided die said so. You'd just have to make that clear in the explanation of the blocking chance.
If the taijutsu is able to be learned by non mokuton users or not, it won't change if it is accepted or not. It would be the same as of another kind of elemental taijutsu style. Once you're done with the edits, tell me.

@Six:
The "Sosho" technique, if it shoots two "Sho"s instead of just one, it is supposed to cost more chakra than "Sho", explain please.

Though you reposted it, and even said you were going to do something about the description of the S ranked stage, you didn't do anything with it.

Also, I just noticed something, the last technique, Outrageous uses 20 chakra points to cover the swords with saw or veil, if I read it correctly, and also uses EVERY sword the user has right? If it is like that, I have to ask you to do one of two things, limit the number of swords the user may use with the style, or limit the number of swords that can be used by the technique. I can't allow that someone with infinite swords, for example, uses that jutsu spending just 20 cp and being able to use an infinite number of swords with that technique.

Azure Destruction

Azure, Harky gave you a reply already. Do not repost your style unless it was asked, it is a bother as the posts of taijutsu/weapon styles are long and flood the page if constantly reposted.
