Felix Silverlight Yes... perfect! Felix smiled a little, proud of his own accomplishment. He had the bird mastered now, that was it. It was the same as the snake and the dragon, and he vowed to remember those three above the other seals even. Now there were only two seals left, easy to do in his remaining time awake! Only two seals left, the Dog.. 'Inu'.. and the Boar, 'I'... Uh oh, another one with just one letter. Felix placed his hands together in the symbol of the dog, this one seemed simple enough at least. Handseals Description: The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. All twelve should be familiarized. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. The Student must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Each seal must be performed once correctly before being learned. Use the formula: [1d20 + Int Mod. = (0)]. DC: 12 Total Seals Learned: 10/12 **note: No Hp or Cp cost.

Felix Silverlight Alright, only one more! Felix extended his arms out to both sides, flexing his fingers in and out. Only one more! The 'I'... or the boar, it was the last one on the list. The very last hand seal... or was it? Felix felt a small shudder of fear creep up his spine as a small trickle of sweat passed the shudder on its icy way down. Not good, what if there were indeed more hand seals out there...? What if in class he would have homework with ten more seals... or... a hundred. A small groan escaped Felix's throat at just the thought... and then his eyes widened fearfully and he tentatively touched the corner of the scroll, glancing at the back of it. "...Gah..." His sigh of relief was audible as he realized that indeed, there were no more seals on the 'back' of the paper. Closing his eyes, he placed his hands together in the seal of the boar. Felix Silverlight "...Alright.. calm down." Felix steadied his breathing, this would 'not' be another snake incident. He had to calm down and clear his mind so that he could form the symbol properly. So that he could be 'done'... Felix glanced back at the paper once more, making sure his fingers were in the right places, his middle finger had been not quite right last time. Felix Silverlight "...Yes! ....Yeeess!!!" Felix fist pumped the air with both arms quite powerfully. Shaking his whole little bed. That was it, he was done with seals... done... done! Done forever! No more seals for Felix, he was sick of seals. "...Yes..." Felix sighed faintly, collapsing back onto his pillow, and turning a little to blow out his candle with a small 'puff'. Akio woke up to a surprisingly quiet morning. 3 days out of 7 his parents would be talking or more like arguing about some point, but it seemed that today wasn't one of these days. After completing the hand seal exercise yesterday he had unknowingly fallen asleep in the living room while waiting for his parents. They had returned last night together, and his mother had immediately chewed Akio out for having such dirty clothes. But nonetheless she had washed them for him. It had been a relatively peaceful night.
He threw open his closet doors to figure out what to wear. This wasn't hard at all, it was more like a choice between white or blue? Or rather, which shirt would he not mind getting dirty with strenuous physical activity of the day? Figuring that he'd be safe, Akio went with the blue t-shirt. He picked out his only other pair of cargo shorts and put it on. This marked the first time in a long time that he hadn't worn at least one item of clothing two days in a row.
Anyway, this was too much introspection for his tastes. He took a quick breakfast that his mother had prepared for him and had the obligatory first-day-at-the-academy, oh what a big boy mum hug before leaving for the academy.

The other kids from the place coming out to praise him for his headband and encourage him on, while the other girls stood shyly in the back, just watching. Felix did his best to act the celebrity, hashing up his Genin position and giving high fives and fist bumps to any guys who were wanting them. Finally, he managed to get back into his room alone... closing the door behind him and shutting out the ruckus of the other kids. Felix smiled faintly, happy to have made it through the academy himself and proud to be from the orphanage. He moved about his little room quickly... taking every little piece of his possessions... which consisted of not much. He took a few pieces of nice Kanji art/scrolls hanging from his walls... they were drawn up by a nice girl who lived here and was excellent with calligraphy styling.. Other than that, he packed his few sets of clothing into a pack... and then grabbed a small pack of paper on his desk, along with some ink and quill pen's that he used for homework. He also grabbed a few of his favorite novels from the desk that he kept. Watching his room carefully... his old room that he grew up in, Felix stepped out... closing the door slowly shut behind him. He swore to remember this place forever... it was his birth... and it was his home. The place where he had met Travis. The place where he had been asked to the Academy for the first time. Felix paused outside of his room, door shut like that for a good while. Watching the door... and then he bowed slightly to it, in respect for the memories. That aside, he slipped the strap of his pack over his shoulder, and stepper off, not another look back. His true life was now ahead. Though he wondered if anyone would ever find where he had carved his own name... Silverlight... into the bottom of his desk. Matsumi was nervous upon the return to her home. Looking up at the man who had escorted her home, her mind began to race. 'What if I somehow get caught? Dad will never let me out of his sight. I'd probably be chained up. Already, she was planning how she would run away if she had to.' Then she stopped, and calmed herself.
'None of those things will happen. Even if it does... I can easily get away.'

[enter from Konohagakure]
As they finally came upon the home of the new young girl that Yarotai had happened upon, the young man nodded his head approvingly at the building. He placed his hands on his hips and began walking the length of the front of it to see it from all angles. Finally the shinobi came back up to Matsumi and placed a hand on her head once again, "So is there a window I'm supposed to hoist you through? I imagine that you don't want to knock on the door and wake anyone up. Since they probably went to sleep assuming you were already in your room and forgot about supper, right?"
All the while the man thumbed through a scroll in the utility pouch on the back of his belt. He was rather relieved and surprised when he came across a name matching the one given by the girl. The fact that she would soon be his student in the morning made him all the more glad that he hadn't instantly tried to kill her.

Matsumi's mouth gaped open. 'Since when have adults been so cool?' She nodded, and directed the man around to the left side of the building. She spoke in a whisper, deathly afraid of waking her parents up right now.
"Um... The second window on the left, on the second floor."
She pointed to the window.
"I have to go in the bathroom window, because-"
She cut herself off. He didn't need to know that they boarded up her window from the inside in a futile attempt to keep her in. That'd just hint to the fact that she didn't fall asleep at the meadows.

Yarotai followed the child around the side of the building at looked up at the windows. It wasn't anything too terribly dangerous and shouldn't require any sort of flashy or loud techniques to accomplish. The fact that she had to go in the bathroom made enough sense, since her room was probably too close to her parents'. The young man placed his back against the wall of the building and capped his hands in front of himself so that the girl could use him as a ladder, "Alright so I'm going to assume that you're brave enough to go into something that high off the grou-... Where are my manners?"The shinobi rubbed the Konoha headband on his forehead with his right hand and reached around his back with his left. His grin was in full force by now, unable to hold it in any longer. He extended his right hand to the girl for a shake, "I'm Miharo Yarotai. And starting tomorrow I'm going to be your instructor at the Academy."The man then produced a small scroll from behind his back and held that out to the girl as well, "It's a good thing I found you and am able to give you this. It's the first thing you'll need to memorize before becoming a shinobi. Plus hopefully this can keep you busy tonight so you don't suddenly remember that you left something in the meadow and need to retrieve it tonight."Assuming that the girl would accept both the handshake and the scroll, Yarotai would cup his hands again to hoist the girl up without making her feel like needing to lie any further. Matsumi's eyes widened in surprise. 'Did he say...
"A-Academy instructor?"
This man is going to be m teacher tomorrow... He found her out here past curfew. If the slightest thing had went wrong tonight... It doesn't matter. It looks like I'm getting away scott free.' She shook his hand and took the scroll.
"Thank you... Miharo-sama."
After he cupped his hands, she put one foot into them, rising up. The bathroom window was open, and Matsumi dropped the scroll through the window. She then jumped through herself, grabbing the ledge and pulling herself up to the ledge with the momentum from the jump. Her feet came up, and one foot was swung in, then the other followed. Her head disappeared from the window, and it was shut softly.

Matsumi put her feet on the floor, trying to remain as quiet as possible. She picked up the scroll Miharo-sama had given her. She walked to the door, only opening it enough for her small frame to fit through. After slipping out, she left it open, not trusting the hinges to stay quiet. She went to her room door, her parent's room in the opposite direction. She lifted the handle and silenced the squeaks she knew the hinges of the door were going to make. She entered her room, and closed the door the same way.
Sighing in relief, Matsumi sat on her bed, and removed her shoes, hiding them under the bed. After she changed out of her clothes and put on pajamas, she opened the scroll. The child looked at the Bird, the first of Handseals, and attempted to imitate it. Her fingers were in the right positions, she was sure.

Ah, it was a very hot day and Akio could immediately feel it as he rolled out of bed in response to his alarm clock's whining and his own stomach's grumbles. Dinner last night had been something, but not nearly enough. It was his own fault for coming back so late though so he wasn't going to raise lip to his mother. Stretching and yawning, he opened his closet to find his other!! shirt!! so he went ahead and put that on. He'd need to find some money soon, or ask his mother to get him some new pieces of clothing at the rate he was going through them every day. Up went the pair of cargo pants he'd worn yesterday. And now breakfast time.
As he chewed on his piece of bread Akio reflected on yesterday's progress in the academy. If he thought about it and disregarded that guy who had graduated in what seemed like 2 hours (Fudou had already forgotten his name though), he was probably the top of the class. At least he'd gone through more of the curriculum than the others from what he'd seen. With a smirk, he thought of that new guy's antics and figured that he'd probably have to learn everybody's names, if only so he could make fun of them more. All in all, it was a very cheered up Akio who finished munching his breakfast.
Figuring it was way too early to go to school (it would probably be a lot safer if he headed out a bit later too), Akio decided to do a bit of self-studying. Heading back to his room, he thought back to what he had most recently covered in academy - the transformation jutsu. The advice that stuck out the most to Akio was that it didn't have to be accurate in the real world. It just had to be accurate in the opponent's mind. There had to be some sort of manipulation of the brain there that he'd have to figure out later on. Akio figured that it wouldn't really apply to beginner level jutsus though. Picturing that new guy who had stabbed a training dummy yesterday, Akio thought hard, closed his eyes, made the ram seal and tried to assume his appearance.

It was successful! Akio barely dared to believe it but he inspected his reflection critically in the window and confirmed it to be the case. It then crossed his mind that his mother might find it really weird to suddenly see a stranger in his room so he hurried and dispelled the illusion. What had taken so much effort the day before had felt like such a breeze. Perhaps a night's sleep really made all the difference. Maybe good food would make some difference too, but hey. He'd find some money somehow for that... after he spent his ramen coupons. Suddenly, Akio couldn't wait for academy to end or for lunch break at least so that he could run off and have some piping hot, brothy ramen. He'd only had it a couple of times when his mother had tried to make it (and let's face it, she wasn't the best at ramen), and he vaguely remembered the taste of it from when he was younger and when the family actually used to go out to eat. Anyway, heartened by his success, Akio decided to try again one more time just to make sure he got it down.
Hmmm... what should he attempt now. As he scanned his room to think of suitable targets (because the only classmate left was Wolf Boy and he didn't want to think about him in too much detail) his gaze fell on a cheap old pencil case from when he was a child. Because Akio the badass still used the same pencil case. It had been from a ninja TV show, of course and plastered on the cover was the main character, the genin Tarou. Akio wondered if he'd be able to recreate a believable Henge of a picture of an actor in a show that he only vaguely remembered watching, but there was no harm in trying. He made the ram seal and focused.
