Ok. Play it cool. It wsan't a big deal, and Muraki was fine to talk to. He just wouldn't bring up the current situation... "Byakko is a close friend of mine! Seiryuu can be, well, Seiryuu. Suzaku, Touda, they serve me as well. As far as spiritual power, I am on par with an onmyouji. They talk about me like I'm the strongest in Meifu, but I think they just like to be nice to me." he spoke as if that were true. Tsuzuki had always doubted his own strength. Without realizing it, Tsuzuki was mirroring Muraki's position, a very intimate gesture, according to some.

(((OOC: HAHAHAHA! OMG I must share the mental image I just had with you! So, my brain, after reading your post, went, "Haha... Tsuzuki's a sponge." but then my brain TOTALLY screwed with that thought and I was imagining Tsuzuki as Spongbob... *falls over laughing* It was so funny and so random! I don't even know why I felt your post made him a sponge... I guess cause he's absorbing Muraki's posture or something, but still. So random...)))
~ ~ ~
"What exactly can you do?" Muraki questioned, wondering about Tsuzuki's powers in general. "Aside from regeneration that is." If someone, Kazutaka could study that spiritual power... there was no telling how much he could learn from this shinigami. Not just from a scientific point of view either.

((OOC: Whooooo lives in an apartment in the land of the dead???))
"Well, there are lots of things I can do!" he was as proud as a toddler telling his daddy he had learned how to ride his bike. "Let's see...I can shift in and out of spirit form at will." he demonstrated very quickly, phasing into invisibility and back after making sure nobody would notice, which nobody had. The few people who were even in the train car seemed oblivious to the strange happenings between these two. "I can also use Ofuda spells. I can put up defensive barriers, I can use my own energy as a weapon, and I can fly, if I really want to. I'm not a fan of that myself though..."

(((OOC: Hahahahaha!)))
~ ~ ~
"Afraid of heights?" Muraki asked, curious. The knowledge that Tsuzuki had so much power was... well somewhat intoxicating. With a smile, the doctor continued. "I want to know everything you can tell me, Tsuzuki-san. The supernatural has always been at the back of my mind... what with 'all-natural' cures and home remedies. I think I could learn a lot, medically speaking, from what you can teach me."

The more interest Muraki showed in Tsuzuki, the closer the brunette got to falling into full-on puppy dog mode. He loved attention to begin with, and having Muraki finally start to give it to him, no matter the form at this point, made Tsuzuki extremely excited. "Actually, I am kinda scared of heights. Leftover from my human...well, human-ish life." Amethyst eyes sparkling, he couldn't wait to tell Muraki everything. Anything the doctor could have asked him, he would have spit the information out in a heartbeat. "Ask me anything! I can't wait to share with you!" he finally inu-ed out, tail wagging.
((OOC: I love RP-ing with you...I wish I could stay up all night doing this. So the high point of my days now.))

(((OOC: Awwww thanks! I wish I could too... but I'm sleepy! I've been up since 7, heh. But I'll be around tomorrow too *hug* Oh and trust me, there IS a plot to Muraki... I promise! It's just huge and complicated... but will eventually be revealed bit by bit.)))
Laughing, Kazutaka held his hands up in surrender. "Calm down, I'm going to be in Kyoto for a while, so we can still talk when we get there as well." Muraki smiled at him before asking his first question. "So, you hinted that you have co-workers... and a partner. What are they like? What can they do? I assume they're not all as powerful as you are, Tsuzuki-san."

((Mewl!!! =^.^= I know there is a plot to Muraki, and i can't wait to find it out! I love long RPs. Sleep well!))
Calming himself as requested, Tsuzuki sat back in his seat and answered as Muraki had asked. "Well, my partner, Hisoka, he is an empath. He can read emotions, and every once in a while thoughts. He can be kinda overbearing, but that's just him. He's the one...well...he's the kid. Youngest shinigami ever on record, actually. Tatsumi, he is the secretary. He can control shadows. That's such a rare talent, actually, and he could even do it to a degree when he was alive! Watari...well, Watari is super special! He's a scientist, and he can draw things on a piece of paper and pull them out into the real world. Don't ask me how that works...it even baffles me!" All of a sudden, Tsuzuki's stomach growled. Oh yeah...he hadn't gotten to eat his lunch...er...dessert earlier. He pouted, eyes large and pitiful. A hungry Tsuzuki was never a happy Tsuzuki.

Noticing Tsuzuki's stomach growling, Muraki filed away the information that the shinigami had told him. Empathy... Shadow Control... Spontaneous Object Creation... Those were all powers that could be put to good use. Good medical and scientific use. But something from how Tsuzuki spoke earlier, told the doctor that the only way he was going to learn about the shinigami's comrades... would be through the amethyst-eyed man himself. "When we get to the station, how about I treat you to dinner, hmm?" Kazutaka asked with a slight smile. "Miss lunch today, Tsuzuki-san?"

At the offer of dinner, Tsuzuki lit up like a Christmas light, the aura of exuberance coming off of him like thick smoke. "I'd LOVE to have dinner with you, Muraki-san!!! And your treat too?! You're the best! The BEST!" he was near-squealing, eyes sparkling. Nobody ever treated him, except Watari-san once in a while...and there was usually some ulterior motive involving an experiment when that happened. He felt that Muraki was offering out of nothing more than genuine care about Tsuzuki's well being, and that gave him a warm feeling inside.

One silver eyebrow was arched in question, "I'm only offering as repayment for the information you're giving me, Tsuzuki-san. This isn't a date." He wanted to make that obviously clear to the seemingly hyper shinigami. "Besides... you're answering questions that, to be honest, you're not obligated to answer. That in itself deserves a reward."

"Reward?" Tsuzuki questioned. "I don't want a reward..." he stated, though the idea of being rewarded resonated with the part of Tsuzuki's psyche that was always seeking approval. "And I didn't think it was a date. You made it clear, and I respect you. You don't like me like that. It's ok. I'm just so happy that you're being nice to me!" The shinigami's tone was one of innocence and true thankfulness. "Also, I told you I'd help you in any way, and I meant it! Shinigami's honor!" he held up two fingers in a mock-pledge.

"Why wouldn't I be nice?" Muraki asked curiously. "I mean, if I really did know you before... did I never ask you to dinner?" It was such an odd thought really... that the two could have known each other so closely, and yet the doctor had never thought to have a meal with his supposed obsession.
(((OOC: The whole meal-scene at Oriya's is like... seriously... one of my favorite parts. Though, I like how, in the manga, Oriya got pissed about Tsuzuki being there, hehehe.)))

He giggled. "Well, we actually went to a meal twice. Once, well...you took me to a tea house to try to extort me. You had kidnapped Hisoka. Long story, but, really, when I think about it...not nearly as bad as some things I have had happen. At least you paid..." If Hisoka had heard Tsuzuki be so casual and dismissive about that situation, it would have killed him all over again. "Then you actually had me over for a meal at the KouKakuRou. I don't think Oriya-san was very pleased with you bringing me there. Not that I could blame him really. He seemed...jealous, I guess? That evening ended with me in a very, erm...compromising...position." The look that came over Tsuzuki's face betrayed the fact that, despite the events that had followed, he had actually enjoyed being touched and manhandled in such a way.

"Oriya? Jealous?" But of course this gave the doctor pause. "Wait... you've met Mibu Oriya before?" Another strange incident... 'He does know me...' Kazutaka thought, that knowledge sinking hard into the pit of his stomach. Saki... Oriya... KouKakuRou... The shinigami knew things about him that no one aside from Oriya and the doctor himself should have known. "I take it I played a little rough, from your expression..." Muraki spoke, trying to get his mind on something else.

"Oh yeah, totally." he replied. Laughing at the doctor's pause, Tsuzuki tried to cover his grin with one hand, crossing his legs in an attempt at being reserved. "Yes, I've met Oriya. Briefly. He didn't like me one bit. I could see it in his eyes. He kept his hand on the hilt of his katana the whole time as if he were challenging me." The way Muraki phrased his last question, however, gave Tsuzuki thoughts he had no business thinking. Oh yes, he had 'played a little rough'. What was far more embarrassing than his dirty mindedness was the fact that his heart skipped a beat in that instance and his pants suddenly grew a little snug. "Rough..yeah..." he coughed, trying to regain his composure. "You were a little...forceful." Oh gods...no matter how he said it, it only made him think lewd things.
