Seriously, wait! All you are doing is mucking up the thread. Gregar will probably get overwhelmed if every time he comes here to look at some of the backlogged Customs and sees even more than before. On top of that you are hiding his post so Kage might not even notice Gregar looked at her summons. All you are doing is making it take even longer before he can get to your customs. Yes it may seem strange that posting earlier will delay acceptance, but thats what will happen.

I really recommend you delete your posts and repost after Gregar reopens the thread to new applications. I can't order you to, I'm not crew, but it would be a really good idea.

@Gregar, sorry for disobeying what I'm ranting over, but I'm trying to help. Don't hurt me!! crying feel free to delete this post if the problem is resolved or you would prefer to take care of it yourself.

@Nerd and Kage, since the post was kinda lost, you should know he edited his post true to his word, so there is stuff concerning your apps that you should look at.

But, yeah, I understand what you're saying sweatdrop . Um, don't worry about looking over the rest of it, seeing how I made it while thinking exactly "I have preparations for all situations". Guess I'll just start over. As Nagisa said, I'm sorry for posting even when you said not to and feel free to delete this post after reading it, just wanted to say that you don't need to do the extra work of looking over the rest. Sorry gonk .

Type of Summons: Mantis (Duh)
The Mantis family live in the Infested Forest where millions of bugs exist. The Mantis Family of course is the top ofo the foodchain there, and one of the few notable species. The Aburame clan is seen with a higher respect than most other ninja, due to their own control over bugs, but are not the only ones capable of working alongside a Mantis summon. All mantises can fly, and most cannot speak. Like normal mantises, they are also able to turn their heads up to 300 degrees giving them a quick survey of an area, and have very good eyesight. All of the mantises are predatory, and will ask permission to eat any corpses. It is agreed when you get the contract that they will eat your body should you die before them.

Basic Camouflage: The Mini-Mantis is able to change its overall color to blend in with a nearby environment. This makes it very difficult (not impossible) to see with the naked eye, even if someone is looking for it.
Description: the Mini Mantis is the smallest species of the Mantis Family. (3 inches tall) and is used mostly for recon work and delivering messages.

Mantis Camouflage: Martin is able to change its overall color to blend in with a nearby environment. This makes it very difficult (not impossible) to see with the naked eye, even if someone is looking for it.

Description: Martin is second son of the Overlord and the Prince of the Mantises, He is able to speak very well, and generally acts as the translator when in the company of other Mantises, even to the Overlord. Martin is a very curious individual, who wishes to see the world, and because of this he generally travels with whoever the “Original Summoner” is. He stands 5 feet tall, and is strong enough to match a Genin Ranked taijutsu user. In another hundred years Martin will kill his father in a ritual, and take his place at the throne.

Meisai no Jutsu (Camouflage Technique)

This skill allows the user to become transparent and slink into the confines of a natural resource. It takes a small amount of chakra to initiate but it can take quite a bit depending on how long you wish to stay camouflaged within the confines of the natural resource. Elaborating on natural resources, it must be something like a tree or the ground or a boulder that has not been created or shaped by mankind.

Description: The Giant Mantis is the most common of the Mantis family. These Mantises stand between 10 and 12 feet tall, and have varied personalities. These mantises follow the strict martial arts teachings of Takezo, and are able to fight up to B-ranked taijutsu ninjas. They also learn the secret mantis jutsu which makes them very useful in battle.

Summons Name: Takezo Mantodea
Description: The first son of the Mantis Overlord, Takezo is the Martial artist of the family. He would be next in line for the throne, but has no interest in it. Taught by his father, he was able to master his body, making him as strong as Most Jounin leveled Taijutsu users. Like his father, he finishes a battle by grabbing hold with his serrated scythe hands and biting the head. Does not speak, but shares the Overlord's harsh temperament.

The Mantis is able to swing their scythe-hands and create a large slash through the air, This attack goes forward 10 feet in a straight line and can cut through weak steel.

Unlike the other mantises the Overlord Is too big to merely blend in with things. He developed his own special camouflage that instead gives him the likeness of a tree. This of course includes any form of tree that he sees nearby, although his height will not change. This is actually a powerful genjutsu rather than natural camouflage, so is very difficult to see through without assistance (like a bloodline)

Great Wind:
Rank:A
Mantis inhales deeply and then exhales a vicious stream of wind capable of holding back a small army of ninjas. The blast of wind is capable of uprooting trees and blowing down medium sized houses. Any enemy caught within the blast will find it hard to stand up at all as they will be pushed back with the force. If used in the desert the wind is capable of stirring up enough sand to create a huge sand storm in their area.

Description: The Mantis Overlord is the King of the bug world. It eats all who attempt to overthrow it, and is by far the strongest of the insects. He is 20 feet tall, but strong enough to match Gamabunta. He is one of the only mantises that can speak. He has a short temperament, and dislikes being summoned for anything but a battle. Until someone earns the right to summon him, he will only speak through a translating Mantis. However, he enjoys a good battle, and will most likely want to eat the target after killing it. (He won't do so without getting permission first however) He is a fairly slow walker, due to the fact that he rarely needs to move, however his strides reach much farther than a normal human could hope to run in the same time. His arms on the other hand are very fast, as well as powerful. The Mantis Overlord is mostly a physical fighter. Although his legs aren't quick the rest of him is. He uses his steady platform of multiple legs to literally roll with the punches allowing his upper section to dodge attacks fairly easily. He uses his serrated scythe-like arms to slash and grab hold of enemies, and then bites their head with his powerful jaws.
The Mantis Overlord uses Blunt force rather than speed most of the time, but was the mastermind behind the Kung-Fu style used by his son Mantodea.

@Beatriz: Humans/Humanoids cannot be summons, therefore, cannot qualify for a summoning contract.

I understand that some summons have jutsu, but none should have jutsu that make them, in essence, just another shinobi. (Mainly the boss, Skeleton Guardian, and Skeleton Berserker.)

@Everyone: After looking at all these contracts, I think I'm gonna have to make an announcement that clearly states what a summon can and cannot be. And the only reason I'm not doing it in this post is that I don't want Beatriz to think I am saying it because of her contract (Because its not, beatriz, its the combination of almost every contract in this thread.)

Mongoose/Weasel Summon:

History: The art of summoning the weasels, and by extension, mongooses, manifested in Sunagakure during the time of the Godaime Kazekage. The art of summoning these animals is unlike any other summon. The weasels and mongooses are based on speed, coupled with offensive power, to deliver devastating attacks. They do not rely on brute strength, or enormous size. Too much bulk would simply weigh them down. The weasels and mongooses are the masters of Wind release jutsu, being heavily associated with Temari of the Sand's summoning technique: smearing her blood onto her giant folding fan in order to summon Kamatari. Since then, the clan of the Weasels and the Mongooses has expanded, the Summon developed further. The strength of Kamatari and his clan often go underestimated, the key factor in bringing down the opponent. The Weasels and the Mongoose family are known for their bitter rivalry with Manda and the snakes due to their natural resistance, or in some cases, immunity, to snake venom.

The baby of the Weasel clan, Kizoku, is the first stage that the Summoner will master. Being smaller and weaker than her fellow Weasels, Kizoku is more suited for stealth and diversionary tactics than for offense. She is, however, capable of performing the Quick Beheading Dance like the other Weasels. The strength of the Dance, however, is less than if the technique is used by Kamatari or Senpu.

(Strength of becomes two ranks lower than specified when jutsu are used by Kizoku)

The smallest of the Mongoose summons, Eri is the second stage that the Summoner will learn to perform. Eri, due to her size, is able to perform only a very weak version of the Dance of Blades, called Kosa no Mai. She excels in performing distractions rather than relying on brute strength, and is often used to ambush the opponent.
(Dance of Blades strength is two ranks lower than usual.)

The second-largest of the mongooses, Nakuru is the only one other than Kachiri to possess the ability to communicate through human speech. While her attacks are still devastating in battle, Nakuru is known for being the spiritual leader of the mongooses.

Possibly the most peaceful of the Weasels or Mongooses, Senpu is not one to be looked down upon. Senpu is the first stage of Mongooses that the Summoner will learn. The strength of this Mongoose is surprising considering his peaceful nature. Senpu is known to be very loyal to both Kachiri and the Summoner, and will use force if necessary to protect either, though his strength is less than that of Kachiri.

(Senpu is roughly ten feet in length when Summoned, but can use the Relative Size technique to alter his size.)
(Strength of Kuchiyose: Fujin no Mai becomes one rank lower when used by Senpu.)

The most powerful, and most feared of the Weasels, Kamatari is unlike the rest of the Weasels. Having lost one eye in battle, Kamatari is known for wearing a patch to cover his wound. Kamatari often wears a black vest as a symbol of his authority in the Weasel Clan. Wielding a deadly sickle, Kamatari is known to perform the Quick Beheading Dance, nearly obliterating his enemies.

The largest Summon of the Mongooses and Weasels, Kachiri is closely linked to Kamatari. Her left eye slashed open at some point in her nebulous history, Kachiri displays her scar proudly as a symbol of her endurance. The scar stands out considerably against the milky white of her fur. Kachiri, aside from having a physically distinguishable characteristic, is known for her devastating offensive power, aided by her long, razor-sharp claws, and equally deadly teeth. Kachiri is known to have strength rivaling that of Manda, adding to their hatred for one another.

Kuchiyose: Kirikiri Mai (Summoning: Quick Beheading Dance)
Strength Rank: A
(*Usable only by Kamatari)
Paying the blood toll for the Boss Summon whips up a tempest and summons Kamatari who rides the wind, slashing through everything it touches. The effects of the technique stretch outwards for several hundred meters. The swirling winds also whip up trees, boulders, and other forms of debris, which then rain down on the helpless enemy. It is highly effective when surrounded on all sides, when the enemy's position is relatively unknown, or when the enemy is hiding behind a shield. One of this technique's few weaknesses is the fact that it exposes the user's position. If the user is not careful, they could also be damaged by the debris and cutting winds caused by Kamatari’s appearance.

Kuchiyose: Fujin no Mai (Summoning: Dance of Blades)
Strength Rank: A
Exclusively used by the Mongooses, the Dance of Blades is a technique similar to the Quick Beheading Dance. Using their affinity for the Fuuton jutsu, Kachiri and the other Mongooses are known to be able to have some control over the movement of the whirlwinds they create. The crescent-shaped whirlwinds are known to slice through flesh with ease.

Kuchiyose: Soyokaze no Mai (Summoning: Dance of Gentle Winds)
Type: Supplementary
By tributing a total of three chakra points per post, the Summoner can gain access to the Dance of Gentle Winds technique. This jutsu allows the user to move one speed rank faster than normal. This technique lasts for a maximum of four posts.

Kuchiyose: Sotai Oki no Jutsu (Summoning: Relative Size Technique)
Type: Supplementary
A simple trick, the Relative Size technique allows Kachiri and the Mongooses to change their size on the battle field. When Summoned, Kachiri's average size is that of Gamabunta or Manda. Senpu's average size upon Summoning is twenty feet in length. However, with the Relative Size technique, they can shrink to that of her Summoner, or grow to their maximum sizes.
(*Kachiri's max size is that of Manda or Gamabunta. Senpu's maximum size is forty feet in length. Nakuru's maximum size is thirty feet. Eri's maximum size is fifteen feet.)

Kuchiyose: Kosa no Mai (Summoning: Dance of the Cutting Sandstorm Technique)
Strength Rank: D
A weaker technique used by the Mongooses, Eri is the only one with access to this technique. By summoning the power of this jutsu, the user creates a sandstorm which inhibits the opponent's vision for four posts. The sandstorm also causes minor lacerations and cuts due to the debris being swirled around in the air.

Kuchiyose: Onsoku Sakebi no Mai (Summoning: Dance of the Sonic Scream)
Type: Supplementary
Usable only by Kachiri and Eri (Eri's version being two ranks weaker than Kachiri's), the Mongooses have harnessed the ability to perform a supersonic scream. This jutsu will "Kai" the user out of any genjutsu that they are trapped in and makes the user invulnerable to genjutsu for three posts (including the activation post.)

(DISCLAIMER: This post is not directed at any one person. This post is a result of all the custom summons I have ever seen, with each one not even understanding what a custom summon is supposed to be. I do not blame any one person, so much as I blame the fact that all people have gotten the wrong idea about what a summon is, which, again, is nobody's fault, and as such, no one is being blamed)

All right, because every contract I've ever seen has had this problem, I'm gonna make this loud and clear:

A SUMMON IS NOT THE ALL-POWER, A SUMMON IS JUST ANOTHER JUTSU!


Seriously, everyone, no more summons that can use as many jutsu as the summoner, none that are basically human taijutsu masters in animal form, no more things like the undead, fairies, angels, demons, half-humans, gods, homunculi, ghosts, elemental spirits, horsemen of the apocalypse, or anything of the sort. A summon is an animal companion that fights alongside you, using whatever abilities said animal naturally has, and sometimes exaggerated forms of natural abilities for high-level summons.
From now on, any contract that I see where every summon has specific jutsu, and the leaders can use “up to C rank of ___ element” or something like that, it WILL be instantly denied.

The only potentially bad t hing by those rules that I can think of in my summon is every summon has some level of camoflage jutsu. Would you like me to remove some of these? ir are they ok? camouflage is a natural trait of the mantis after all...

I do just have one problem, though. It's come to my attention (pointed out by Luo) that there is an A-rank wind jutsu called Kirikiri Mai that allows the user to summon Kamatari. Should I edit my summon and change some things, or should I leave it?

Really? Well, thats gonna be removed, it will stay on this contract instead.

I don't think any summon should be allowed the beheading dance aside from Kamatari, since that is pretty much his entire purpose.

A mongoose you could hold in your hand would probably be D rank. Just because Kuchiyose is a C rank technique, does not mean that all summons have a minimum of C rank chakra cost.

Could I get a size for Senpu?

At the size of Manda. Kachiri is an S ranked summon.

Hypnotic Dance will not be allowed.
