Aimi Himoto Academy | Mist l Lothar l Medic  Aimi wondered why he was extending his hand like that, she was all the way on the other side of the room, he looked very foolish.She just giggled a bit and went along with it,"Aimi Himoto, pleasure to meet you Yama...Yamatano."

Kai nodded to Luo, then took a deep breath as readied himself for the test. Closing his eyes he brought his hands up to his chest taking in a deep breath. His mind was clear, his body relaxed. He could do this, he knew he could, now it was just a matter of doing it. Opening his eyes, Kai ran through several hand-seals before saying, "Bushin no Jutsu."A puff of smoke burst around Kai, obscuring him from vision for a moment while the smoke cleared. As the smoke cleared one could see an exact replica of Kai standing right beside him, the real Kai and the clone looking at each other with excited grins. But soon enough Kai focused once more, and the clone followed suit, both of them performing a series of hand-seals."Henge no Jutsu!", the two of them cried in unison, Kai turning into a perfect replica of Luo and the clone turning into an exact copy of LT. Kai then dispersed the clone and returned to his regular form as he through a kunai at the glass of water. Performing a single hand-seal Kai said calmly, "Kawarimi no Jutsu", and in a puff of smoke Kai was replaced with the kunai, which fell immediately to the ground to with a clang.
Looking at the glass of water Kai focused his mind once more, closing his eyes as he had before. Moving rapidly through a sequence of hand seals Kai then opened his eyes, which turned a deep sapphire blue, and called out, "Mizzu Soujuu!" He could immediately feel the water in the cup, and with a simple thought he began to lower the temperature of the water inside. Condensation began to gather on the glass as the water changed temperature, flecks of ice beginning to swirl around the cup. With another simple thought Kai began to manipulate the water in the cup once more, causing the water molecules to begin vibrating rapidly. The temperature of the water began to rise rapidly, the flecks of ice becoming water once more and the water turning to steam.
Kai smiled to himself a bit before he lowering the waters temperature once more to room temperature. Focusing on the feel of the water he lifted his hands and caused the water to rise out of the cup and form an orb of water above the cup. Kai took in a deep breath then moved through several more hand-seals before crying out, "Mizu Kagami no Jutsu!" The water seemed to sheen for an instant before it became completely still, reflecting the image of the blackboard behind Kai peferctly. But the reflection in the mirror did not help him to see the words that Luo had written. With a smirk Kai realized what he would have to do, using water manipulation he formed the globe into a concave disc, which enlarged the images reflected within. Tilting the water so that the could clearly see the words he read them in his head, Demon of the Mist. Releasing the reflection jutsu, Kai let the water flow back into the cup for the next student before turning around, his fingers already moving rapidly as he began making hand-signs. "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!", kai called out as he completed the hand-signs. Moisture from the air seemed to condensing, forming a simple glob of water floating in the air at first, but as the water began to accumulate more rapidly the glob began to take on the shape of a humanoid. Finally in a burst of speed, moisture from the air seemed to implode, leaving a peferct clone of Kai standing in it's place.
Kai smiled as he drew the blade that LT had given him, his deep blue eyes watching the clone carefully as it too drew it's own blade. Rushing forward Kai drew a kunai from his pouch and launched it at the clone. Meanwhile Kai jumped in the air, giving his legs a burst of chakra before doing so, and went soaring over the clones head. The clone knocked the Kunai aside then rolled forward, narrowly dodging Kai's sword as he landed and brought the blade down in a mighty downward slash. The clone then rushed Kai, forcing him to take several steps back as he parried and blocked several slashes and thrusts from the clone.
Seeing his opportunity Kai jumped backwards, then rolled forward, the clone trying to stop his own forward momentum so it could face Kai. But it was too late, as Kai rose from his roll his spun his body slightly so that he sliced the clone's shirt. Had Kai wished he clearly could have cut the clone in half, but he knew that he still had to perform one more jutsu. Kai did a backflip to get away from his opponent a bit quicker, sheathing his blade in the air as he did so. As he landed his hands began to move with blinding speed as he formed the hand-signs for the final jutsu.
Having finally regained its bearings, the clone faced Kai then rushed towards him, hoping to slash him before he got the jutsu off. Once the clone was just feet away, his blade just inches from Kai's shoulder, Kai smirked and said calmly, "Mizu Peretto." A fist sized bullet of water burst from Kai's mouth, hitting the clone square in it's chest, causing it to explode in a gush of water.
With water dripping from his hair and clothes, Kai turned to the Mizukage and bowed deeply. As he rose back up his eyes began shifting back to a stark white, the deep blue moving from the outskirts of his eyes to the center, seeming to dissapear into the middle of the eye where his pupil would normally be. "Demon of the Mist.""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me" (finally done, hope I got my science right)

Yamatano drew back his hand, realizing that neither of them could probably shake hands from across a room. "So Aimi, I havent seen you at the academy...........or, what used to be the academy. Are you a new student?" He asked

Aimi Himoto Academy | Mist l Lothar l Medic Aimi heard a couple noises coming from the room she'd just left. "Huh? Oh... yeah. My family never really wanted me to become a shinobi. And up until this year I really wasn't able to." She put her finger up, wanting him to wait,"Though! I have been taught a couple of those little jutsu those teach the kids at the academy! So I'm not totally worthless!"

"Well, then thats good, your better than when I started out. I knew absolutely nothing the first day of the academy. Actually, truth be told, I didnt even go to the first day. I was gonna skip class, but classes ended up being cancelled, so It worked out for everyone." Yamatano said, Immediatly afterwards thinking "Hmm, maybe I shouldnt have said that with the Mizukage in the room right next to us."

As Luo's head lowered to write a few notes, he watched the boy intently. If there was one thing that was for sure, the boy was using the Gobi's chakra efficiently. With a shadow cast over his eyes, Luo grinned as the room was silent for a minute before finally a phrase escaped his lips. "Hmph." Putting his pen down, Luo raised his head high enough so that his navy blue eyes could be seen by the new genin. "Throughout your performance there was one flaw: Utilize your surroundings to your advantage. It would have been faster for you to use the water in the glass for your mizu bunshin. Do you understand? However, that is only a minor error that will be fixed with time. Your performance was impeccable to say the least. You even assessed the inscription on the board further by widening your view instead of guessing on what you assumed was written. In the future, using mizu soujuu for jutsu will not require their own set of hand seals as long as you further your training in the art through each rank. Kaizen Minoru: Congratulations. You have passed your genin exam." Picking up a headband from the many lined up in front of him, he tossed it to the boy. "Now, the lotus of the mist begins to blossom."

Kai looked up at Luo with a grin that stretched from ear to ear. He reached out with both hands, taking the headband reverently. Bowing to the Mizukage, Kai said in a voice full of happiness and pride, "Thank you Mizukage-Sama, you honor me with your words." Rising back up Kai tied his headband around his waist, luckily Luo had handed him one of the headbands with a longer strap (just go with it) so that it reached all the way around his waist, and even hung a bit loose.
Kai bowed once more before making his way towards the door that would take him out into the hall."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Yamatano pondered this question for a moment, he hadnt really thought much on it. "I...........uh.............I guess a stealth fighter, since I've trained in the Hunter nin taijutsu. Oh and someone who uses jutsu to support teammates, since im not much of a one on one kinda person. I like the odds tilted in my favor." Yamatano said, grinning as he said the last part. "What about you?"

Luo bowed his head towards Kaizen as he watched him leave. He then called out, "Yamatano Hatake. You may enter." It pleased Luo to see the young kids taking their first steps towards becoming strong shinobi of the mist. He felt it as an honor to be able to give them the okay to proceed with a new rank.

"Medical nin, thats pretty amazing. Ive always been amazed at medical jutsu." Yamatano said. Just then the Mizukage called him in, so he turned back to Aimi saying "Well, I gotta go take my test. Next time you see me, I'll be a full fledged ninja!" He said, smiling as he walked through the doors. "Mizukage-sama, thank you for the opportunity to let me become a full fledged ninja." Yamatano said as he entered.

With his head lowered as he signed and dated Yamatano's file, he muttered. "Ah, feeling the urge to be polite Yama?" Finishing the little bit of paperwork he needed to do, Luo finally looked up. His hat was starting to annoy him as it always did, but he pressed on with it. "Tell me Yamatano Hatake, why is it you wish to become a shinobi of the mist village?"

"Umm, I have a good reason for barging in like that. See I was on my way here when a black cat crossed my path and the bridge was out and..........Ill just stop making excuses." Yamatano said. "Well, at first I wanted to be a shinobi because Hatakes are bred for shinobi life. But now, I just want to be able to keep what I value safe, whether It be friends, family, the village, or anything else that isnt coming to the top of my head." He finished

Kai whispered,"good luck", to Yamatano as he stepped out. As he exited the testing room, he saw the woman that had walked in on his test. Grinning he looked up to her and said, "Hey there, I remember seeing you while I was taking my test. My names Kaizen Minoru, but you can just call me Kai, what's your name Ms.?""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"
