Cameron looked at his first aid kit and the size of the couch to calculate the measurements and tools needed in his head. After observing, he shakes his head, "No, the couch seems far too small. I need space, if you dont mind." He stepped aside, waiting for Akita to show him to the other room where the bed is, all while putting a hand on her shoulder to at least try to comfort her about any worry she may have about the pregnancy. "Though, as awkward as it is, I've delivered many times. It does get stressful, but the outcome is a wonder, especially for you. I dont think I've ever seen more than three before, aside from the families who have birthed more than once. Oh... I must be making you feel uncomfortable. Please continue, Miss Akita. I wont be long."

Akita gave a small somewhat nervous chuckle as she stood up to lead the way into the other room. "This will be my first.. I heard it's quite rare to have large litters." Opening the door to the closes bedroom Akita made her way in. It was neat, tidy and organized. Akita wasn't one to let things get messy. No matter how tired she was if there was something to be done, she'd find the energy to do it. As far as she was concerned, pregnancy wouldn't stop her but she had to learn her limit for the babies sake. "Alright.." She took a deep breath and seated herself on the bed again, "At least I know there is somebody with experience to serve as my doctor."

"Well... I know you must be nervous, I'll try to make you feel comfortable." Though, it's not very comforting when you see the doctor snap on a pair of surgical gloves. The first aid bag opens up, and Cameron pulls out a stethoscope, a miniature blood pressure monitor and a few other things that are unrecognizable.
"If you do feel uncomfortable, tell me." Even though Cameron lacks the size to look old enough to be a doctor, he's very well experienced and was the topmost scientist in the last job he had worked at. Ever since he was poisoned, and his body tampered and corrupted by his own fellow scientists, he continued doing what he loved doing.
Even with that on his mind, he didnt let it falter his motives. Cameron moved a bit of Akita's hair out of the way to put the stethoscope near her heart area, then did the usual blood pressure measurements before coming to her overall conclusion. "Well, you seem a bit stressed. Though, I can understand your fainting mate may have something to do with it. Stress is normal, however... Now, let us see what you're growing for us."
By now, the stethoscope was already cold again even though it was just on Akita not too long ago. Cameron went ahead and decided to put the end of it on Akita's stomach, which felt like Kain's previously cold lips there, but made of surgical steel.

Akita held still and let Cameron do the needed tests. "Today.. was quite the hectic day.. I won't go into detail but, I've been pretty relaxed otherwise." When he mentioned that he was doing to check on the little ones she nodded and sat still, using her arms as a bit of support to hold even more still. She was curious about her little ones, always wondering if they were curious as to what was going on on the outside, as odd as a thought that was. But she couldn't help but feel they could sense Kain's soft kisses, her warm touch.. Feeling the cold metal on her stomach made her gasp slightly, but she still held still.

The stethoscope on Akita's belly took longer than on Akita's chest, trying to hear some sort of heart beat or some stir of life. He finally took off the stethoscope and put it back in his little medical bag.
"I was able to hear only one heartbeat, but that might have been yours. It's still far too early to be checking for this. But, I'm rather curious..." Cameron whipped out some measuring tape and placed it around Akita's stomach as if to measure her.
"It's obvious there's something in there, but I dont know how many just yet. I will have to come back another month to check on them. My only concern is how big you are now this early. My sincerest advice for the upcoming months: REST. No getting up whatsoever. Eat healthy and eat lots. Until then, there's nothing I can do now." With that, it was sure Cameron was done checking up on Akita and was ready to leave.

Akita sighed and smiled, "A waiting game it seems." Getting to her feet Akita gave a small bow to Cameron, "Thank you for stopping by. I'll see you then I suppose? And I'll make sure to only do something if I really have to!" She made her way to the door of the room and into the hall, "I'll see you to the door and then I'll get back to keeping Kain company in the living room. The poor guy. The floor can't be all that comfortable no matter how high quality the rug is." Akita made her way downstairs and towards the front door, while she was down there she figured she might as well grab a drink of water and some carrot sticks to nibble on while she was upstairs.

With a sigh, Cameron tightens his ponytail and the winter coat that he wears to bear more of the extremely harsh winter. He had to leave before the storm came by, and he only had a few hours left. "Right. I will be back in a few months. If you have any trouble, pleas dont hesitate to contact me." Being shown the front door, Cameron bowed politely and made his exit as quick as possible for any of the cold air managed to slip in, leaving Akita there alone to tend to an unconscious godzilla on the floor until he woke up.

A week or so later Akita was found stretched out on the sofa, her eyes looking as if she just woke up, watching the dancing flames of the fireplace. They seemed to mesmerize her. Try as she may she still found herself disobeying doctors orders and had to fight her natural urges to clean. Zeki thankfully had been stopping in now and then to give Akita a hand when she was too exhausted. Akita groaned rolling over, "Uuugh.. My brain hurts..." She had been waiting on news from Lucus about Vemp's return as well but had heard nothing as of late. For all she knew Lucus was running around the manor yanking his hair out like a mad man at this point. "Kain.. Kaain.." Akita cooed softly as she pulled herself up and peeked around the room to see if he was up there, "Are you hungry..?" Not sure if he was or not she asked anyways.

Ever since the day Akita told him, and he understood the world "large", as in a large litter, Kain has had to take on the job of tackling and pinning Akita down to a restable surface to keep her still. His actions have also gotten more violent, so to say; he's become more protective and doesnt take too kindly to visitors these days. If he didnt have any human-like features, he could have easily been mistaken for a guard dog. Kain appeared as quickly as he was summoned and knelt before Akita on the couch on his hands and knees...as if he were taking the whole 'mate' thing to a whole new level. "Nein. I am not. But you are. You...you must eat."

Akita pouted some, leaning forward to wrap her arms around Kain's neck, "I want cookies Kain.." She didn't mean to sound like a big baby but she knew that if she had gone to go get the cookies herself, Kain would have just stopped her anyways. Giving him a soft kiss she smiled, "Kain, you know I am still fully capable of doing things on my own. I'm a big girl." While she truly appreciated Kain's worry about her resting and such, for somebody who had spent most of her life at the beck and call of others, this sudden chance of lifestyle made her cringe on the inside. She could tell it was just going to slap her in the face one the babies were born, then there would never be nothing to do.

As if to agree to getting her cookies, Kain only nodded and returned Akita's kiss. "Ja wol." With that, he stood up and traveled downstairs into the kitchen to fetch Akita's order like a waiter. He didnt exactly have a problem with fetching Akita anything to fit her needs, it hardly crossed his mind that her needs would be more demanding later on. Kain tried to make the order as quick as possible, as he soon came back upstairs with a plate full of cookies and a glass of milk. Kain couldnt help himself, however...and he stole a cookie from the plate and it was now hanging out of his mouth as his hands were too full to help him eat it. It was a rather full plate covered with cookies that could easily feed three Nocts and keep them full. The cookies were tempting and looked so sweet...but Kain tried to resist. Instead, he got back down on the floor in front of the couch, keeping the plate in his lap and handing Akita the glass while he fed Akita the cookies by hand.

Akita couldn't help but giggle at the sight of Kain and the cookie hanging out of his mouth.Taking the glass of milk she took the cookie from his hand, "Kain, Kain, it's a very sweet offer but I'm quite capable of feeding myself a cookie." She gave him a warm smile and nibbled on the cookie, "Eat. Your company is more than enough to keep me happy." Once she'd finished the cookie she brushed the crumbs off her hand and placed it on his shoulder, "You are a very loyal and loving man Kain." Before taking a quick sip of milk she reached down to the plate for another cookie, they really were quite good.

Kain didnt say much else but just watch the cookies being taken from the plate. He could have been drooling by now if it werent for his Royal instincts. He has to act 'proper'. His concentration is soon broken when there came a soft knock at the door that, surprisingly, Kain heard. He put the plate somewhere near Akita's reach and rushed and ran down the stairs like a rampaging train of the sort. Once reaching the door, he opened it, and there wasnt even one second in between where the guest could muster a word before Kain tackled him to the snow outside. It was Lance, and the football tackle-styled greeting was hardly expected at all. If it werent for Lance being healthy and strong-boned, Kain would have crushed him by now. He was being protective of the house and Akita and poor Lance had no strength against him. "AGGH. What is this!"

Akita was somewhat distracted by the cookies when she saw Kain get up to walk out of the room to go where ever he went. Maybe she had to go to the washroom? She figured. Her ears though perked up to the sound of the front door, followed by Lance's yelling. "Oh dear.." Chugging the glass of milk she set the glass down and rose to her feet, quickly she scurried out of the room and downstairs. "Kain! Kain Sweety no hurty guests! That's bad!" Making her way swiftly as she could to the front door she peered out to see Kain and somebody in the snow just outside, "Kain! Up up!"

If it werent for Akita arriving in time, Lance would have had a fist stuck in his mouth. Or from the feral way Kain is acting now, he would have been covered in bite and claw marks. But Kain does get up and looks like he's not going to let Lance near Akita any time soon. Lance was more than confused with what was going on, though. "I'm...I'm sorry Miss Akita. I only came by because... mum hasnt turned up yet and...things really dont feel right at home. I feel really lonely. I mean...I dont feel right...and just... I need a hug." Lance never wanted to be dubbed a cry baby, but things felt so stressful to him these days, especially with Akita and Vempyremon gone, and Lucus going crazy. Akita was probably one of the only few he'd cry around, and he didnt mind letting a few tears slip out this time. Kain didnt act as a promising acquaintance and it felt Lance feel unwanted there.
