"Yup.... to both things." Keshet said walking towards the candy shop. He walked inside and sniffed. Ah! What wonderful smells! He glanced around, spotted what it was he wanted, and walked over to it. He grabbed the big lollipop and walked to the counter. "Mr. Zusman?" He called out not seeing the shop owner.

Hitachi followed Keshet into the candy shop and immediately his tail began to wag. He understood now why Lizzie would always tolerate getting in trouble whenever she stole money from Starr. The smells alone were worth the risk. He tore his gaze from all the sweets and chocolates and turned to watch Keshet. He was surprised when he spotted the lollipop that Keshet wanted.
"Whoa.... someone definitely 'as a sweet tooth." He leaned towards the lollipop to get a better look at it and started to poke at it. "I need to come 'ere more often."

Keshet looked back at Hitachi and rolled his eyes. "It's a great shop. Mr. Zusman is really kind." He said turning back, "Mr. Zusman!"
Shuffling out of the back, wearing an apron covered with bits of candy, came an old man. He had white hair and his eyes, behind a pair of glasses, had a twinkle in them. "Ah..... Keshet. Here again to help? Good good. Taffy been giving me a hard time. Could use your help." He muttered reaching the counter. It was only then that he looked up and spotted Hitachi. "Oh.... a customer. Welcome the the Sweet Shop! Your one stop shop for all things sweet." He said.

"Mr. Zusman?" Hitachi echoed as he looked around the store for any sign of anyone but was quickly distracted by a jar of gummies on a nearby counter. He heard the voice of an older man addressing Keshet and he assumed it was the owner of the shop. He only turned around at the mention of Taffy.
"Taffy?" His tail began to wag excitedly and he looked back and forth between the old man and his friend. He had only had a bit of it once when he stole a bit from his human but it had been delicious. He wondered... He blinked when he realized he was being addressed by Mr. Zusman. "Oh no, I'm not a customer.. or... well, not really... 'im right 'ere is getting something." He gestured to Keshet. "I'm just buying... I guess... though, you wouldn't 'appen to 'ave any taffy would ya?"

"Hey Mr. Zusman!" Keshet said spotting the old man, "Taffy..... I'm sorry but I don't have much time to help you out with it. Maybe just a little?" He looked at Hitachi giving him a quizzical look.
Mr. Zusman looked at Hitachi seeing how excited he was getting over taffy. "Eh... I don't think he'd mind at all Keshet..... if it meant he would get to have some good fresh taffy." He said slyly. He paused the rest sinking. "Oh? Not a customer..... Then what can I do for you?" He looked up at Keshet, "Ah. Those lollipops you're fond of."

Hitachi did agree with Keshet that they probably didn't have that much time since they were on a mission to cheer Blue up but his curiosity and excitement grew when Keshet offered to help out.
"Yes, I agree with 'im. Fresh taffy sounds awesome." Hitachi said, gesturing to Mr. Zusman as he dug in his pockets and pulled out the change he had promised in the bet. "A bet is a bet... 'ere your money."

Keshet shook his head and moved to the little divider. He lifted it and walked behind the counter. "I'll be back in a bit." He said taking the change. He set it right next to his lollipop. He'd buy as soon as the taffy was done.
Mr. Zusman nodded and headed to the back. Now he had help for the taffy. He immediately put Keshet to work, helping out when it was needed.
A little while later he came out from the back holding a box with wrapped taffy. "There we go." He said setting it down on the counter.

Hitachi nodded at Keshet and watched the two of them disappear into the back. With nothing to do, he wondered about the store and admired the various different treats he wanted to try out. He would have to accompany Lizzie the next time she robbed their human and help assist her with her candy selection. He had his back to the counter and jumped when he heard Mr. Zusman speak to him. Turning around and rushing to the counter, he poked at the neatly wrapped package.
"It smells so bloody good! I can't wait to try this!" He said with a smile, his tail wagging happily. "Cheers sir. Much thanks."
He continued to poke at the package and shook his head.
"'anging out with Skittle 'asn't been that bad today..." He said softly to himself.

Keshet picked up his lollipop and pushed the change over to Mr. Zusman. "Well I'll see you later Mr. Zusman." He said waving and heading for the door.
Mr. Zusman took the change and rang Keshet up. Dropping the change into the register he looked at Hitachi. "My taffy is the best in town." He replied with a wink, "Let's see.... the taffy will be .... hm.... special discount.... for Keshet's labor.... ah there we go.... Your total is $2.15." He took one of the wrapped taffy from the box and handed it to Hitachi. "Need to wrap the rest of the taffy...... Have a nice day!" He walked slowly back into the back room.

Hitachi laid the money for the taffy on the counter and with a wave goodbye to Mr. Zusman, Hitachi spun on his feet and followed after Keshet; happily holding his taffy and wagging his tail like a small puppy. Catching up, he glanced at Keshet as he stepped out of the candy store.
"It's gettin' late, we should 'urrey on to the flower shop." He ran his claws on the package and was currently struggling with saving it for later or eating it now. Moment of truth eh? Let's see if it tastes as good as it smells." Without waiting another moment, he tore open the package, took a small piece out and popped it in his mouth.

Keshet was already unwrapping his lollipop and popping it into his mouth. When Hitachi caught up to him, the earlier awkward/difficult moment forgotten, he was grinning.
"Yeah we should..... lead the way." He replied taking the lollipop out. He watched as Hitachi ate a piece of the taffy and gave him a 'I'm waiting' look.

He made a mental note to most definitely go back to the candy shop to get more taffy or, at least, prod Keshet to make more sometime in the future. Finishing the small piece, he licked his lips and glanced at the rainbow male that was looking at him and waiting. He gave him a mischievous smirk and was about to mess around with him again. He opened his mouth to say some teasing remark but caught himself, remembering his reaction from earlier. Instead, he flashed him a thumbs up and wagged his tail.
"It's pretty good. Well, really good... well best I've 'ad in awhile. 'ow's the lollipop?" He took another piece of taffy and popped it in his mouth as he continued down the street. "Shop with the plants... shop with the plants.... where are you?"

"Well that's good. Mr. Zusman will be glad to hear that you like his taffy. He enjoys hearing from customers about his products." Keshet replied with a nod, "It's good. Kinda why I picked it. I know which candies in the shop are the best. At least to me." He followed after Hitachi glancing around as he licked his lollipop. Where was the flower shop? He certainly couldn't remember.

Glancing up at the darkening sky, Lily sighed and knew it would be time to close the shop for the day. With a sigh, she pulled back her loose gray hair and set to work stacking the potted plants she kept outside to get their daily dose of sunlight. With a good number stacked, she knelt down and slowly hoisted the plants.
Hitachi was focused on finding the shop when he spotted an older woman waddling towards the front door of her shop with her hands full of pots. He looked up at the sign and nudged Keshet.
"I think that's it up ahead..." He watched the lady and her pots curiously and tilted his head. "What is she doing?"

Keshet noticed the lady with the pots just before Hitachi spoke. "I believe you are correct." He said frowning a little, "Uh it looks like she's taking the plants inside. We better hurry since she might be getting ready to close the shop." He picked up his pace glancing at Hitachi.
