Hello all! I'm 22 years old and none religious myself but clearly interested. I thought this guild sounded like a great idea since religious discussions elsewhere can devolve into name-calling and trolling pretty quickly.

Hi! Guys.. I'm older than you all but i'm still confusing with cult from religions. I know a lady who believes Falun Gong which is banned in China but is allowed in those countries who againsts China. This old lady escaped from China to avoid to be persecutedand and staying aboard as asylum seeker. The problem is : she jumped from a building after practising Falun Gong half year later and it was happened for Falun Gong was banned by the authorities. FG is already become an oganization with religion to against china's communist party. So she darenot to return to China. On another hand, China's authorities never persecuted her for practising it but they really arrested some believers. This old lady is toothless and going to be blind. Who can save her or give me some suggests

I prefer to be know ans Imperial Tigress, and am probably the oldest Gaian here. I am 49. I was raised a Roman Catholic but find myself conflicted these days asking if all religious beliefs don't hold some common grain of truth. After I committed myself to a project to trace my family tree I found myself delving into Celtic history and find alot of the druids' old teachings to have merit, none of which, I was surprised to learn, conflicted with thoughts and feelings I myself have had for some time [/size

Name preference: Brianna, or Bri Age range: 13-20 [19, almost 20] Religion/belief system (or a lack thereof): Was [maybe kind of "is"?] a Christian as a child, parents divorced and I've been a little estranged from the church. I am VERY tolerable of all religions though, as long as people don't try to force it upon me. My boyfriend is a practicing Christian, and I occasionally go with him. Candle-light mass this Christmas was very lovely. :] Sex/Gender: Female Anything else you want to add: I don't think so...I probably will AFTER the fact. xD

Name preference: Ama or Amara. But you can call me by my real name, Sharon Age range: 13-20 (15 to be exact) Religion/belief system (or a lack thereof): Raised Catholic, went to a Catholic school for 5 years, went to Sunday School for 2. But I really have no religion as of right now. Sex/Gender: Female Anything else you want to add: I do a lot of research. Just random research on things that interest me. VERY interested in Paganism. Obviously love to debate, as long as they don't turn into some really bad argument. I don't like to be told that I am wrong, and get offended easily. Usually I am nice to everyone and am open to things, but a certain time of the month I do get a bit snippy. So please forgive me if I do snap at you. =]
And also, thank you for inviting me. <3

Name preference: Just my username I guess >.> Age range: 13-25 Religion/belief system (or a lack thereof): Agnostic Sex/Gender: Female Anything else you want to add: I don't know if there is a god but I am open to the idea of god. I try to treat everyone's beliefs with respect (because I don't believe that I know anymore than anyone else >.>). I do like to play devil's advocate, regardless of my beliefs I like to poke holes in weak arguments (don't take it personally). I like the modern play "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" (I don't quite understand the ending, but it did poke my soul >.>). In general, I am searching for the truth between ideals and reality.

Name preference: Angelo or Angel suits me just fine Age: 20 Religion; Roman Catholicism (If you're gonna use that to stereotype me, think again!) Sex/gender: Male Anything else: I joined this guild to discuss about religion without getting flamed. Even though I'm religious, that doesn't mean that I have no reason, for I believe that faith, reason and creativity are inseparable. I'm a Roman Catholic, and I'm sick and tired of the stereotypes! It also doesn't mean that you can go bash my faith just to win a debate. As far as rolemodels go, my rolemodel in faith, reason and creativity is Gilbert Keith Chesterton. He is one of those who had proven the fact that creativity, reason and faith are inseparable. I'm also someone who is against modernism.
As far as sexuality goes, I'm straight, and I believe that being GLBT is a choice. As long as anyone doesn't force their sexuality on me, you're on my good side. Also, I do hate people who hate straight people!! What do you hate about us? If some of us are conservative, deal with it! I do dislike rabid GLBT rights activists that force their opinions at people.
I'm a nice and reasonable fellow, but I'm also someone who enjoys using paradox. I may come off as complicated, but I'm not someone to whom anyone can simplify. I do value freedom, as long as it is not abused as some excuse to do anything idiotic. I defend my values and opinions strongly in the face of coercion and persecution.
I of course would want to learn other religions. Respect mine, and I'll respect yours. Disrespect my faith, and I'm in the mood to kick some butts!
