Honestly? It just led to bigger and worse things. She was not one to share her feelings, hell- She was exactly like a guy. She'd rather push it away and deal later.
Or never at all, which was always nice.
However, in the sense that she had guy feelings, she was also not even close to being ready for sex.
Charlie was no prude, at least not anymore. It was never that she didn't want to, just that the oppurtunity never arose. And now with Landon, a lot of things rose.
"It does matter," She mumbled. But as far as she was concerned the conversation was over.
Landon had turned away to make breakfast and she perched herself on the counter next to him.
After minutes of silence she spoke up, feeling like she was breaking the sound barrier.
"After breakfast wanna toss the football around?"
It just kinda blurted out.
She had been really good about being girly with Landon. Always suggesting movies or something. Or just letting him decide.
But that was just something to get the conversation lighter again.
Plus, Landon was a swimmer..
Err, not a football player..
"Or uhm..whatever you want to do." Oh yeahhhh, nice save- Not.

Never in all his years, had a girl ever asked to toss around a football with him. He might have asked a girl once, but she deffinitaly thought it was a joke, and it had been!
He gave her a skeptical look. Landon just really hadn't expected that---but he was happy they were off their previous convo!
"Y-yeah. I'm sure I've got a football around here somewhere, and if not we can find some other ball or whatever." Hey he liked sports. Sure he was at home in the water, but it didn't mean he didn't know how to play every ******** sport out there!
He finished egging the bread and started frying it up while throwing bacon into a seperate pan.
"Hey Charlie, after we play ball, wanna paint our nails?" He said it with a smile on his face, a warm one at that,
Landon just couldn't resist, it was too perfect.

Charlie bit her bottom lip and averted her eyes to the dog, who was still licking himself.
Grosss...
Even she found that disgusting.
But she still had an appetite!
"We don't have to.." She muttered. But he was going with it anyway. "Yeah uhm..whatever you want.." She looked at the bacon as it sizzled on the pan. And then she glanced up at Landon.
"What?" She had kinda missed that.
But once it processed she shot him a fake glare. "Sure, but you'll probably do a better job than I can." She rolled her eyes and tapped the acrylic nails on the counter. "Mine are fake, professional." And she had the hardest time not biting them off too!
Nails were so delicate and cutesy. Definatly not Charlie.

Typicaly Pachino stopped licking his privates to bounce up and down near Landon's feet.
"No Pachino, you only get to eat dinner with me, breakfast is for people only."
So they ate dinner together most nights, so what?
Landon was a lonely guy---living with an attention whore for a dog.
He got out the forks and syrup and moved everything to the table where he could sit and eat eat eat.
"Hey Charamander, you know what we never talked about? How come I didn't know you before we started going out? Well like I knew you before we started being together but like, we never hung out before that. What gives? Did I get cooler or something?" He flashed her a teasing grin before taking a bite.

"I know I'm not stupid. I just said that." She rolled her eyes at his noise before sitting down at the table. He handed over the plate and when he went to grab the syrup she tossed Pachino a piece of bacon and flashed an innocent look at Landon when he sat down across from her.
She grabbed the syrup and loaded up before cutting off a chunk and popping it in her mouth.
Okay, she had to remember to at least act somewhat girlish when eating right?
Agh..sooo annoying!
But she looked up at her new nickname and bit down on her bottom lip. She did not like how serious their conversations were today.
"Uhm..I unno.." She muttered as she ate a whole piece of bacon.
"No. I did." She responded to his 'did I get cooler or something' joke. "Do you remember what I was... uhm.. like last year?"
She hoped to god he didn't.
But at the same time, if he even almost-knew the old her then maybe there was hope for them afterall.
If not, then he only knew this fake her. And what kind of love was that? If she ever did fall for Landon..that is.

His mother losing her arm sort of kicked everything out.
"Oh, wait like, I knew who you were but we never talked before. Hey, were you in my english class last year?" s**t was that Charlie? Swetpants girl? Wooooowwwwwwwwwww.....omigawd she was sweatpants girl!
"Duuudddeeee how come you never talked to me? That's soooo weird. You were in my class but we didn't even talk and now we're like, a happy couple---not to mention the sexiest one in the school." He clicked his tongue as he raised his eyebrow.

Charlie picked at her food while he thought. "Yeah, english and math." She mutterd as he went on.
"How come I never talked to you? Maybe because you're Landon Lamb, and I was freaking Charlie the football playing girl?" She said it as if he was stupid for even asking.
Which, he was really.
"You had it all Landon. Nice house," Not that she didn't... "Hot girls all over you, killer smile and the cutest eyes. I gotta say its not all that ironic when you break it down."
She sighed, taking two more fork fulls.
"We're only the sexiest couple because you noticed me after I changed everything about me."
Uhm. Yeah pretty much.
Not that she didn't want to change up somethings, but in order to have what she longed for, she had to give up a lot of things she really loved.

"Just forget it Landon. I'm not special." She muttered. "Lets just eat and then do whatever you want kay?" Charlie didn't bother to look up at him.
She felt like such a girl for letting her emotions hit her! Gross!
