Yowsers Harbone. Owies
I wear glasses, but tend to take them off the minute I get home. I can't wear contacts as the air in the building I work in is really bad. My eyes get all itchy, red, and watery.

We have kittens... they are 1½ weeks old now. The mother is always trying to move them into some of the strangest places. For a while we had her shut in my son's shower so she would not move them around, last night we found them in my son's closet under the stairs in a pile of computer parts... I chose to move them to the up-stairs spare bedroom and shut her in... There are 5 kittens, one is all black, the other 4 range from black and white to grey tabby and white. I love how they sleep, all twisted and curled around each other.

Awww.... kitties. And they've gotten to the point where they're with fur, too! I'm glad you waited until then to move them (some people forget that Mama cats have to bond with their kittes.) Good job!
(PS. I think my wife has gone insane.)

I work with a local agency also, Pleading Paws... www.pppr.org and http://www.petfinder.org/shelters/MN93.htmlAll the animals in the organization are in foster homes, we do not cage them in a shelter, that way we can tell the people that are interested in the animals how they really do with families and other animals, etc. This also cuts down on kennel illnesses and the shock animals go threw when they have to be in a shelter.

Good work, Lil-Jo and IrishDanceMum 3nodding I got my current cat from a cat rescue, and she was very nervous and a bit thin when she first came home with me, but she's great now - owns the place, as cats rightly should! xd

Lil Brat *Looks around* I've only the one... eek Great work with the shelters ~ I wish my neighbor had gotten her newest ones there. Brought home two cute little baby kitties, and now her daughters, and mine, have ringworm. stressed cry Oh what a pain! At least ringworm is very treatable, even if it is a royal pain to have to do it. All our animals are in foster homes as well. It's so much easier to know how an animal will react in a family situation if they've been living with a family! Here's our website: www.faircares.org and we're also on petfinder.com . I love rescued animals. They usually make such loving pets!
