Knowing it was getting time to head back to the school, Jason brought himself to his feet. He had been in the forest for who knows how long just thinking and playing his harmonica. He was trying to get that romantic touch Gael had perfected with ease, though it was harder to do that on the harmonica than the guitar. He had even for a split second considered another instrument. Jason could've yelled out all his frustration: he was confused, not only about himself, but also about that girl, Kata. What was so different about her? Why, in the hours he had been out here, could he not get her out of his head as if she were any other girl?

Jason slowly made his way through the gate, not feeling much like running. He walked to the Lunare, to the fourth floor, and up to Gael's door. He banged his fist on the wooden door 3 times before it opened. Jason invited himself in. Gael had been resting and was rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand. The lighter of the twins paced back and forth across the floor several times, before he said anything. Gael had already taken a seat at the foot of his bed, seemingly expecting a conversation.

"That girl. Kata. You know, the one who hit me," Jason stopped in front of Gael and talked more with his hands than his mouth. "Did you notice anything...weird about her?"

"Not much. Seems a little guarded to me, but nothing you can't handle," Gael replied.

Jason dropped his hands at his side. His brother was right. He could handle her. And he would. Given the chance, he would deal with her and it would be nothing new. This was just some new infatuation: she was the first girl to really hit him and something about that was only enticing him.

"Something wrong, hermano? Cat got your tongue?" Gael asked, a smirk spreading across his face.

Jason smiled back, bending down to look his brother in the eye, putting his hand on Gael's shoulder. "Nothing I can't handle." He straightened up and moved to the door. "I'll see you in a bit." He opened the door and was gone, barely closing it as he left. His heavy footsteps echoed down the empty hallway.

When Kata Inquired about the book, well it just made Sasha gleam with joy. Her features lit up a bit more and she placed her hands on the book as well before looking at Kata in an almost excited manner. She hastily flipped through the pages until she fell on one of the passages she had flip on while looking for the book in the library. It was a quote of someone like them that was what made Sasha pick the book. The quote said, "United we are strong, no mater where we come from we are family.".

"The book is full of stories about people like us. It's a logging of stories and history about our kind. I went to the library to find it. I read the quote and a few other things in the book and just had to get it. I don't know about the past of our kind, but I think I should. I don't want to be ignorant of what we have had to overcome or have had to deal with."

Sasha said as she stopped and turned her head when she heard the laughter from the other table. She locked onto the focus of the group that was laughing. Yet another girl here, well at least the girl to guy ration was pretty even. It didn't matter to her though, she hadn't had thought about it but she had already been picking people out in her mind as people she wouldn't like. She needed to stop that and try to be nice...try was the key word. She would smile at the other table and then turn her attention back to Kata.

The glee in her manner was easy to notice. Sasha loved books, or at least this book in particular. At the mention of History, Kata could not help but be pulled in with her enthusiasm. Kata adored history, of any kind. She sat up straight and looked on at the page Sasha had flipped to. She kept saying "our" and "us" as if Kata was really one of the werewolves. It hit home with her. Even though Sasha probably didn't think much about the words she was saying, they held a very strong message for Kata. I'm one of them, aren't I?

Sasha stated wanting to learn more about the history of werewolves, something Kata had just this morning beat herself up for. She kept her thoughts to herself for the most part, listening to Sasha gush over the book was enough for her. At least I'm not alone in my ignorance... "You and I will have to go to the library together one day!" Kata suggested, partly laughing.

Hearing laughter behind her, she turned in her seat as Sasha did. It was that high, squeaky laughter again. She's happy about something. It was hard not to notice that laughter. It reached out over every other person's voice in the large room. It was one of the most easily recognizable laughters Kata had ever heard. But that laughter could do little to distract her from the idea of a book on the history of werewolves.

Vincent watched Fraya walk off and go to the aid of the boy that had been punched. Vincent frowned as he saw Katarina’s nervous and confused look and he opened his mouth to give her a reply. However, the blonde girl he had seen earlier came up and introduced herself. Vincent went quiet and just watched the reaction, but his reply to Katarina still floated around his head. I think you did the right thing. But then again, Fraya did not seem to like to have drama caused over her, so he kind of understood her reasoning as well.

Vincent watched Fraya draw for a moment before his blue eyes flickered towards the two girls. The blonde girl – who had introduced herself as Sasha – looked his way and gave him a nod in acknowledgement. Vincent just simply nodded back and clued into their conversation. Sasha prided Katarina for decking that boy – who was now identified as Jason – in the face. The conversation continued like this before there was a brief pause.

With that pause, Katarina had glanced towards his way. He made eye contact and with the contact, he could see the emotion in her eyes. She seemed to want something from him. He felt himself grow confused but then she smiled and turned her attention back to Sasha and started to talk about the book she had with her. With this, Sasha grew incredibly happy and started to explain.

Meanwhile, Vincent waited for Fraya to stop drawing his hand,
“I’ll be b-back,” he told her, just in case she decided to use him as a model again. Standing up, he grabbed his dirty dishes and the others before walking towards the dirty dishes bucket. With his back turned towards the group, Vincent let the confused look take over his face. What was that?

With that eye-connection, he knew she seemed to be asking something from him and he realized if she asked it, he would give it to her. Already he had given her his condition; there was really nothing else to hide. She still accepted and hung out with him. Dumping the dishes into the tray Vincent ran a hand through his hair, spiking it up a bit further, It has not even been a day!

Vincent frowned, standing up there for a moment, collecting his thoughts before turning around with a calm face on. He walked back towards the group and sat in his chair, setting his hands on the table just in case Fraya wanted to draw them again. He would think about things later.

And with that, he listened to the words being spoken between Sasha and Katarina.

Sasha nodded in as she watched the reaction of Kata. Kata seemed like an intelligent person, or at least someone who she could get along with. It was true that Sasha thought almost nothing of saying the words now, but she knew full well the affect they had on others. She had accepted what she was, just not how she found out what she was. She only wanted others to know they weren't alone. She had felt alone for so long, it killed her inside to know that others must feel that way to. There were others that felt like this was a curse and yet that was because they just didn't see the light in it yet. There was so much to learn and so much to do. They were in fact part of history in the making.

"Ya definitely! I want to know all about where we come from and what we are exactly and if we exist do other myths I have read about exist too? The fact that we are Werewolves brings forth so many new questions that are worth exploring into. I mean, just think about it. The library has so many books that I hope it will answer all my questions. I really do hope so. But on other topics, what classes are you taking?"

Sasha asked the question at the end because she realized she was rambling and she tried to not do that. She just got so carried away with the book and the questions about their kind just kept coming all day. Sasha smiled at Kata and took another bite from her apple as she savored the delicious fruit for a time while waiting for the list of classes. While she waited she watched Vincent excuse himself and take up the dishes and return to the group. He was different this one, he seemed intelligent in a way.

Whats my problem?...

Loki stretched , her arms reaching up skyward, waiting for Evelyn to finish her delectable desserts. Her eyes caught on a familiar blond haired girl. It was that wench who had stuck her nose into her business earlier, calling her childish and ignorant. From the looks of things she was congratulating Kata for punching that musician in the face, and yet when she punched Cristian in the face she got an ear full. Loki dropped her arms to her side, clenched and gazed at the blond girl with daggers shooting from her eyes. "How two faced can you get?" she said angrily under her breath "I'd like to punch her in the jaw and see how much justification I'd get." Her eyes never drifted away from the blond girl. I cant believe I stood down for a two face weasel like that, she thought to herself. Her hazel brown eyes almost dared the blond, ice cold blue ones to look up and confront her.

...its a long story.

[ Oh yeah! I made a greek mythology twist off in the Beyond section of the guild. I'd love for everyone to join it, that is, if you are interested! <3 ]

Evelyn chuckled at Loki,
“Yeah, give me a second; these sweets are just so good.” She rolled her eyes back to add the effect of her pleasure with the sweets. Screw diamonds, chocolate was a girl’s best friend. Evelyn thought she had eaten fast enough, and she stood up and dumped her plate and empty beer bottle in a tray that was on their side of the cafeteria. However, when she got back, she noticed giving Death’s look to the blonde girl that had chewed her out. Evelyn’s eyes widened, Aw, s**t!

Truth to be told, Evelyn had been watching that table. She watched the blonde’s face brightened and she even smiled. The girl didn’t seem to be that bad, and Evelyn would approach her later and apologize for her attitude earlier, Evelyn really hated starting a year with someone hating her. Plus, she had nothing personal against the girl, she had only stood up for poor Loki. She grabbed Loki’s arm and Evelyn brow furrowed in slight dominance.

“Loki, c’mon Hun, there is no reason to start another fight.” Evelyn cooed, trying to lead her to the door. She had hoped she stopped Loki in time before the blonde peered up. It seemed such a good mood was rare for the blonde, and Evelyn did not want Loki to ruin it and a big fight start. “It’s beautiful outside, and you still have that bread for those doves! Let’s get to them before they leave the campus.”

Evelyn was really trying and she even peered over there a couple of times, hoping the girl would stay too absorbed with her group to notice a rather angry Loki.

As she added a few touches to the sketch, she heard Vincent announce that he would be back. She nodded distractedly, her brow furrowing as she added what she could by memory. She was purposefully ignoring the blonde girl's presence, knowing that she wouldn't enjoy the company of someone as full of herself as this girl came off. She usually didn't pay mind to first impressions, but this was an extremely prominant impression, not easily ignored. Oh, she'd give her a chance. Just not now.

Fray sighed, looking down at the completed drawing. It wasn't her best work, and, she realized her contradictive reasoning by going so fast. Now she'd have to find something else to do, and she figured that the group would get annoyed by her constant sketching, anyway. She looked up, attempting to catch Vince's gaze. When she did, she gave a bright smile, pushing her bangs a little out of her eyes. Her voice low enough to not seem rude next to another conversation, she spoke. "Are you well, Vincent? You seem... Off."

She gave a pleading look, her mind begging for conversation. She didn't enjoy the thought of her maybe being interested in a person, and she attempted to shove the potential feelings far from her mind, concentrating on beginning a conversation.

Classes! Oh no! I had almost completely forgotten about them! The color drained from Kata's face as she realized she still needed to sign up for classes. Am I too late? Are they all taken?

"Oh, Sasha! I haven't signed up for any classes! I don't even know what to imagine the classes are here!" Kata exclaimed in her sudden and terrifying realization. She had heard about having to take everything into her own hands in college--signing up for your own classes and determining the times. In high school, the classes were picked for her, for the most part. There was little involvement on her part with the picking and choosing--everything was done for her. But this was no ordinary college. This was a school for werewolves. Every time she thought the word, she had to stress its meaning. She was still so very unused to the fairytales from her childhood being true. It had been nearly a month since her mother broke the news to her, but she couldn't wrap her head around it. Not me! I haven't even changed! Kata kept going back and forth between denying being a werewolf and getting pulled into the community that was werewolves. Should I go talk to a professor? Am I even supposed to be here?

Kata turned to Fray and Vincent, a desperate look in her eyes. "Have either of you signed up for your classes?"

Whats me problem?...

Loki resisted Evelyn at first, a low growl rumbling in her throat. She eventually gave in and let Evelyn lead her to the door, though she kept her eyes on Sasha the whole way. They exited the hall and Loki stopped and turned to the stale bread in her bag. Evelyn was right, the doves were way more important than a priority confused mutt like Sasha. When they were outside, she searched the sky for the two doves, but they were nowhere to be seen. Loki let out a sigh of quiet disappointment, then turned to Evelyn. "Shall we go back to exploring?" she asked, trying to relieve her anger without getting violent at something. She gazed about, wondering which way to go and wondering how familiar this place was going to become to her, how long she was going to be there. Then a thought occurred to her. Wasn't she supposed to be in class? Her smile at Evelyn turned to a look of confusion "Evie, do you know when we get our class schedule?" she fished around in her knapsack and found the apple she hadn't eaten and bit into it.

...Its a long story.

Vincent was watching Fraya and her sketch, completely interested. She seemed upset with the work but he was rather amazed. Such skill and craftsmanship, he envied her and was even going to ask what was wrong with it. However, she peered up and made eye-contact and Vincent perked, knowing she was going to say something. She asked him what was wrong and he frowned before giving quick smile to cover it up, “N-Nothing is wrong, just thinking.” He murmured quietly back, following Fraya’s example.

The statement was only half true, his thoughts were running a mile a minute but he was so confused. He decided to not let his musing come back up and kept with the conversation. Sasha asked about classes and this got Katarina worked up quickly. Vincent instantly replied to calm her down.
“The l-letter had nothing to say about choosing classes, all it gave was to g-get here. I bet we will be talked a-about classes tomorrow, or e-even Monday.” But then he paused, “Whoever r-runs this place knew where we lived, what we were. Maybe they probably know our academic records and already choosing c-classes.”

Vincent shrugged, “But no, I d-don’t think a-any of the new students have yet to pick their classes.” He then looked towards Fraya and then back at Sasha and Katarina.

Fray lost her smile, peering suspiciously at Vince, trying to figure him out. He was much like her, she realized, and it was concerning to her that she could see through his charade... But just barely. She shook her head, making a mental note to pay more attention to his actions. She noticed he and Kata's lingering glances and Kata's ability to switch between genuine and false emotion when regarding Vincent and others, but... Maybe there was more to Vince than she noticed? Well, it was only lunch at the first day. She thought about that for a moment before realizing that it must be about two in the afternoon, now. Wow, this day is flying...

When Kata staged her question, Fray turned her attention to her, letting her frown melt away to interest. "I don't know... I don't even know what classes are offered here..." She looked around at the group before beginning to think of the classes they would obviously have. She's already seen the Astronomy, Geology and Shape-Shifting professors. She'd seen the art studio. What else? "What classes would you take, were they here? Any class." She asked this to the general group, looking to Kata for an answer first.

Kata began to calm down from her mild panic attack as Vincent provided the facts. Nothing in the letter. They have our academic records. It was a foreboding feeling, knowing that someone had that much control in the real world: to know who we are, what we are, where we are, and everything else about us. Her mind started to fill with what she had read in the newspapers about conspiracies within the government. Could whoever is in charge of this place, Blackthorn, be involved with the government?

Fray came up with the idea to name classes. History was, of course, the first thing to come into Kata's head. But she wondered if History here would be the same as History back home. After all, this is a school for werewolves. Certainly, the History classes would be a little biased with that fact. The next that came to mind was a Literature course--surely to be biased as well. "A History class. Anything History. And... a Literature class." She asked everyone else what they would take, but she was looking at Vincent.

There was more laughter coming from across the hall. From the same girl at the same table. It was getting ridiculous. Even the people in the surrounding tables were beginning to think so. If only that girl's laughter wasn't so loud... But the girl didn't seem to care about anything else but what she was laughing about. "What can there possibly be to laugh at? You've already laughed at everything else in the world," Kata muttered under her breath.

Vincent was now going to be more cautious with his facial expressions. He could feel Fraya suspecting him and he wasn’t sure he really liked it. Really, Katarina and her were the first people that ever seemed to be so interested in him. Maybe it was more like, to figure him out, what made him tick, what made him happy, things like that.

They soon changed to favorite subjects and Katarina asked first, she answered and then looked towards him. He instantly knew she wanted an answer out of him next. Vincent’s brow furrowed slightly, she should already know his subject but, the rest of the group did not.
“Science, any science,” He murmured before looking at Fraya and then Sasha, “You?” He made sure to keep his mouth closed so he would not start rambling again. His thoughts went to when he told Katarina the first time and he almost blushed.

Controlling his face, he looked back up, peering between the three girls. It was amazing that, something that was wrong with them – the beast inside them – could make people connect. But he was glad, he could learn how to control that beast, make it fully a part of himself and he hoped he would keep in touch with Katarina and Fraya after graduation.

He looked towards that table with the loud laughter, watching the small girl for a moment before returning his attention back to his own party. He heard Katarina’s mumble and he peered towards her, watching her. The laughter was annoying but she seemed to be slightly aggravated as well. Keeping that noted he moved his gaze once more.

Sasha had been watching everyone interact with a chuckle as she kept overhearing the girl at the other table laugh. Sasha could feel herself tensing up with each high pitched cackle she heard. The girl laughing was far to cute to be innocent, cuteness never came with innocents now a days. So Sasha wouldn't feel bad if she told her off. But Sasha was doing her best to be focused on the group and their worries of classes. Sasha never worried about such things. Class was easy for her, she naturally excelled in it after all. Vincent speaking made Sasha smile, because for a short time she thought he was scared of her. Fraya was another story, that girl was artistically talented no doubt about it.

But that laughing girl had gotten on Sasha's last nerve as she stood up as if by instinct and looked around her table for a moment. These three were good people and Sasha was taking a moment to remember them fully so in case they left she could find them again. Now she would look to Kata then to Vincent and Fraya and finally back to Kata.

"Kata, if you would all excuse me...I can't take that racket anymore. I need to have a word with that girl about being disruptive..." But before she left she added with a smile as she looked to Vincent. "Everything here is wonderful to take I am sure. I just enjoy learning more about this, its like a new world of questions dieing to be answered. Please excuse me though..."

Sasha said bowing out of the conversation of classes as she turned her attention to the laughing girl and her company of "jesters". Sasha was already making her way towards them locked on and if Kata had caught the look on her face she would of know that Sasha was back to the cold predatory version of herself, her usual wall against others.
