Shino walked past the main building while the master was leaving it. Looking at him he said. "I'm done with the wood cutting, I'm going to the river for a little." With that he walked in the direction of the river.

Hoshi got up slowly "Ok.." she sighed and run over the missions board. She looked at it "Yay! the water misions arent taken yet!" she giggled and signed all of them. "Ok so i have..bringing 5 bucks of water, fix the main bath and fishing!" she said happily and run over the main bath to fix it.

Shino looked at the river and then smiled, it was a good sized river, probably deep in the middle of it. He walked straight for the river and as his foot was about to touch the water, the water froze, allowing him to walk to the middle of the river and then make a good sized platform of ice, where he laid down and closed his eyes, listening to the calming sound of the river around him.
(I used to do this all the time before I moved..well except for the freezing part XD)

After few fights Hoshi finally finished her first work "Yayy~" she giggled and went over the river, it was little far from where Shino were. She filled the buckes happily and carried slowly one by one back to the house.

Shino continued to listen to the water rushing past his body, without wetting him at all besides the mist formed by the water hitting the ice.

Hoshi got into the water "Brr.. its little cold.." she wishpered to herself and waited for the fish to get closer to her "Just a little more.." she thought to herself as taking her fans out slowly and aiming the fish who got closer. "Got you!" she yelled as dropping the fan over him like a sharp knife but slipped and fell into the water. She started to laught and play inside the water, forgetting from the work.

Shino's ears twitched as he heard laughter and, being curious, he unfroze the lower half of his platform and floated down the river, smiling as he saw Hoshi. "Hey Hoshi, done with work too?" He stopped his "boat" a good length away, since he didn't want to make the water too cold for her.

Hoshi looked at him "Ah!" she said and pointed at him "This is why the water was cold today!" she said and kept giggled, then recalled "Ah! the work!" she said and got up from the water fast, looking for more fish. She took her fan out the water. She giggled and looked over Shino , then put her finger over her lips and wishpered "Shh..!" as looking on a fish next to her, she aimed and dropped her fan over that fish again.This time she got it and picked it "Yay!!" she giggled and put the fish in the bucket, then came back into the water and slipped again.She looked at Shino and laughted again.

Shino laughed as she fell in the water and then said. "Sorry about the cold, I can't swim so I have to do this if I wanna be in deep water."

Hoshi looked at him surprised "You cant swim??" she asked as getting up again, "How come?" she asked as getting closer to him, she didnt care about the cold water.

He simply shrugged his shoulders and said. "I never learned how. Back in my old bandit group we always stayed on the land save for small rivers for baths."

Hoshi giggled "Then at last try!" she said and pulled him out off the boat into the deep water, a small bubble apeared around Shino's head "Now you can breath while practicing!" she said happily.

Shino blinked as the bubble formed around his head and then he simply sank to the bottom. Trying various ways to swim but failing all of em. All the while he was thinking. "water control huh? Makes sense.."

Hoshi giggled and took his hand, she showed him how he should swim like, then swem deeper and giggled again, she moved like a fish in the water and didnt have to go up for air.

Shino soon got the hang of it and he was able to chase Hoshi through the water, though not as gracefully as she swam. He liked not worrying about holding his breath underwater.
