Alright I'm posting this here because I want to see how many people are left that are still seeking a tutor.
About me: This will be my fourth year in college taking japanese related courses. The first two years were japanese language, the third history and grammar, the fourth(this year) is more history and classical japanese. The only japanese I know currently is the japanese that is spoken in Tokyo. Though I am also trying to figure out how japanese is spoken in Kyoto.
Looking for: An open minded student that is eager to learn and isn't just taking up japanese for a month. Everyone has problems in the beginning. But I gurantee you that after awhile something just clicks in your head and it becomes easier to learn.
What I'll teach: Modern japanese along with hiragana, katakana, and kanji. The hiragana and katakana will be taught on level. Some people know them already. biggrin Everyone will learn kanji though. Without kanji it's hard to read anything, at all.
How to reach: For right now, Gaia is fine. Though when school starts for me next week I'll be on AIM as well. My screenname, and email can be requested through a pm.
Have a wonderful New Years everyone!

Muku_Muku Alma_Libre Hi~! I'm Kristyn -[19yrs of age]- and would like a tutor and conversation buddy who has Yahoo IM and some form of email.
Yahoo IM is mexicanrassbury or angel_de_valor Email is mexicanrassbury@yahoo.com
I'd love to hear from anyone who can help my practice and learn more about the language as well as the culture. You know, you should really say how much Japanese you know so that people can judge based on that. ^^ I guess that would be helpful information wouldn't it (^_^) gomen nasai for not mentioning before. Watashi no namae wa Kristyn desu. I only know a few phrases, random words, and how to count to ten... but not comfortable with speaking which is something I want to improve upon. Umm to be more clear about what I'm looking for is conversational skills; my goal is to be able to speak fluently enough that I can actually talk in complete sentences and not sound like a typical tourist. xp
I know enough to basically say hello, goodbye, I like/dislike this or that, and that's pretty much all I really know. That is as far as speaking goes but as for reading... I attempted to learn Katana and Hiragana but as for actual reading I have not. -(which is a goal I've set for my self)- I'm also looking for someone who can help me with an in depth exploration of Japanese culture and history as well. Send me an email with Japanese Student Guild as the subject.

drop an email or an offline message at YIM, sometimes I am on invisible. Best times TBA since I just moved and have no job.

I'm looking for a student/conversation buddy. I'm in my final semester of Japanese and I really need some practice, BAD. The computer I currently use doesn't display or write Japanese text, but I can deal with Romaji for the time being. No children or anyone who hasn't taken at least a year of Japanese in a formal setting. Preferrably female. If you ARE japanese and speak it fluently, that's even better.
I'm headed to school in Japan in a couple of years, methinks, so I need to sharpen my skills. Please PM me if you meet the above criteria.

Hello.
I am looking for a senei to teach me Japanese. For right now, I'm just basically trying to learn words, sentence structure, negative, positive, all that. Not too worried about their writing forms yet.
my current level in the language isn't very high. I'm a beginner, and I know about 200+ words.
Please, if you are willing you can PM me. I'm almost always on. =3 Or e-mail me at angelbyami@yahoo.com

Konnichiwa. :3
Well I'mma 13 year old female who has been looking for a teacher for a while now. I know a good amount of words but not so many characters, and I'm doing my best to study Hiragana right now. In other words, I have nearly no experience with Japanese at all. ._. So I'm looking for a teacher that can build me up from scratch.
YIM: Suihou_Kitsune MSNM (also my email): Shadow-Mage93@hotmail.com AIM: Pandieboo93
I am usually on from 12 noon - 3 PM (Pacific timing), and weekdays are most convinent. I am also most active at Gaia at these times, but I would rather chat by messenger. If you can teach me please drop me a email. x] Kthxbai.
