I did the whole ea downloader thing. I love having pets in this game! Right now one of my animals is pregnant....little ones running around could be so much fun! I've noticed a few glitches though. My person could suddenly walk across the pool....and then she got stuck. I had to get rid of the pool. sad I've also seen the pets hind end....or front end on the other side of a wall.

i've just seen an ad on TV for the pets xp. looks interesting! it would seem that if you are broken into, the burglar is incapacitated with a fit of sneezing! lol

Hehee... I got pets too... I LOVE it! I haven't had any glitches so far except for the pack leader trying to jump through the wall in the bathroom while my sim was teaching her cat to use the potty. THAT was scary looking! eek AND I didn't even KNOW it was the pack leader surprised

I have found out that training/caring for a cat is easier than a dog. I couldn't get the dogs to go eat where the cat would go to the bowl by itself. rolleyes

I've got so much CC and mods on my system... I don't even know what part is real game and what's not rofl

Lucky... whenever your sims get stuck somewhere... try using the moveObjects cheat. Hit Ctrl+Shift+C to open the cheat window... then type in moveObjects on and hit Enter. You should be able to move your sim without having to destruct your pool and get them unstuck. It -might- work. I tried that with an object once where she was sitting half way through the computer desk playing the computer... I just moved the seat back a bit and it was fixed. I don't know if it'll "unstick" them though... but it's worth a try. wink

I got Sims2 Pets from Target and it came with a Target Exclusive star dalmation dog that you can unlock. Here are the instructions:

1. Start The Sims 2 Pets. Enter Neighborhood, click FAMILIES, then click CREATE NEW FAMILY. Next click OPTIONS, click GAME OPTIONS, then click the BLUE KEY to open the Unlocked Sims Gift Code box.

2. Click the Enter A Code key icon and input the code below. Accept by clicking the Check Mark. If code is valid, Star Dalmation will appear in Breed Bin.

3. Click Create Family, click CREATE A SIM, click CREATE A DOG, click CHOOSE A BREED and you'll find the Star Dalmation.

(I got it to work, and anybody can, as the instructions were just on a sticker on the outer wrapper of the game and had nothing to do with the game itself. Once you're in the create a family screen with the full-length mirror, click the ... icon for options, then the icon for game options (I forget if it's the picture of the gears or not) and then there's a blue key icon in the lower right corner of that screen, and another blue key icon to input a new key on the screen that says you don't have any unlockables yet. Hope you guys get it to work!)

Seasons? I didn't know about it until tigger said she was traveling to Sims headquarters to meet with some people about a company she does sims graphics for, I think. I don't know exactly what she did/contributed, but she says there was an article about it on the sims2community site, and I saw a little about the EP there. Sounds cool, especially if we can do stuff like shovel snow, make snowmen, rake leaves, make snow angels, carry umbrellas, and get sick in the rain? I have no idea if those are possibilities though.
