Killing them... That snapped Kara out of it. Her eyebrows dove down over her eyes once more, and she growled, "Oh, I don't think paying him back is going to be an issue." Whatever this other man was planning on doing, he wouldn't be able to do it fast enough. Moving as quickly as she could, Kara zipped around the rooftop with the intention of grabbing every single Reaper. If she managed to get ahold of all of them, she fully intended to throw them somewhere where they would cease to be a problem. The phantom zone? No, that would be too difficult. Her first plan was the best; throw the lot of them into the sun, and BAM. Problem solved.

"I will explain my desires after we deal away with them, that or get away, whichever suits you. I would explain the religion I made but that is what brochures are for." He said preparing himself for the worse to come. While he prepared he was going to desecrate the land to strengthen the Reaper. He didn't want to fight with only Reaper by his side. He saw the quick action but was caught off guard from this.

The Reaper chuckled again. "Did I ever claimed that I killed them? Or did I simply say that they were gone?" he said with a twisted grin. Confuse her and he might catch her off guard again. The other girl snapped back into attack mode though. "It doesn't matter to me. They're nothing more than entertainment to me at the moment. I'm sure I'll meet with them in the future." he replied. The girl blurred past again, so he trickled out a small flame that raced towards the man. The reaper reappeared from it. "Though she is becoming a slight annoyance. For the moment....The Reaper....is at your assistance." he said. Shadow struck out at the reapers next to her, hoping to latch onto one of them so that she could rip them appart. He was trying to confuse her...she didn't care. They were gone! He did something, he had to have. Two little girls were gone and it was all her fault. She felt something slash her side, but was too angry to care about what it was. As long as they were in front of her, she was in attack mode. ///ooc: Um, yeah, so it's 1:40 am here, and I have class in the morning. XP I'll be back tomorrow, go ahead and take them wherever. //

"Take this package and follow it to the letter when you can." He said as he enveloped himself into green smoke and within the smoke was a Package. It was the rite of passage for one to follow. New laws of the cult demanded this test. Inside was a knife, a picture of an elderly man and instructions. Gragh escaped, but only to return for Reaper later. He was still hiding in town hidden in the sewers.

Kara stopped again, turning to face the Reapers. Her inability to even touch any of her adversaries despite her almost limitless speed was obviously frustrating her. " Becoming a slight annoyance, huh? You know, I have been around enough villains to know that 'becoming a slight annoyance' is pompous a** code for 'making me very nervous.'" She crossed her arms." Is the big bad Reaper scared of little old me? Gosh. Well, I think you should just relax. You know, take a stress pill. Not to put too fine of a point on it, but... Chill out. " With that, she took in a quick but deep breath of air, and then shot it back out at all of the Reapers, hoping to freeze them solid. ---- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ---- ----- ----- ----- ----- Deadpool shrugged. He didn't really know either city, so it made absolutely no difference to him. " Gotham it is," he said, climbing into the tiny backseat. ((sorry it's so short; I'm not really in my Deadpool place, anymore.))

(( It's all good. Deadpool doesn't meander on 100% of the time, just 98-99% of it. xp ))
"Mistah J, who the guest?" the woman asked.
"Drive, Harley, I'll explain later. Go to the Chinatown King in Gotham, and step on it. Batgirlie's here, but not Batsy. Besides, our new friend is hungry for Chinese. Oh, and buckle up, this is gonna be fast," he added to Deadpool.
'New friend?' she thought to herself. She shook it off, and with a "Righty, Mistah J!", she stepped on the gas and was off like the hounds of Hell were after them all.

((Enter Metropolis)) Rhino was on business to Metropolis for a client back in New York City. It wasn't a very high paying job: All Rhino had to do was picking up a package and deliver it back to New York on a designated time. The job was very specific and wanted Rhino to deliver the package to the Daily Bugle at the designated time given. If not, Rhino wouldn't be paid today and he would have to seek work elsewhere. Due to all the other villains walking around, work was getting harder to find for Rhino since no one wanted to hire muscle that was more of a liability then an asset.
Rhino wasn't the smartest villain alive, but he had enough brains to be a little nervous going to Metropolis; this was Superman's turf after all and Rhino wasn't sure his strength would match up to the Man of Steel. With all the chaos going around, Rhino assumed Superman would be far too busy to deal with Rhino delivering a package to a journalist building. Rhino's original intentions in Metropolis were to contact one of the big wigs like Lex Luthor to have some nice paying jobs for Rhino to do. The King Pin was an option, but he probably had too many mercenaries working under him to begin with. Not only would Lex probably need a grunt, but Rhino wouldn’t have to deal with Web head either in Metropolis.
Rhino -being a thick head- didn't bother to hide his presence while walking the streets of Metropolis; it wasn't like Rhino was doing anything illegal yet and what was so bad about delivering a package? The heroes in Metropolis couldn't bust him for that. The crime gang that was paying Rhino to get the package probably wasn't too keen on the Daily Bugle's stories on them, so the package could well be a bomb or something deadly. Rhino would be long gone before anyone linked the package delivery to him anyway. Rhino reached the point where the package was suppose to be and speak of the devil there was a box sitting on top of a bench just waiting there. Immediately, many civilians assumed Rhino was going to try something with the box and scurried away. Rhino wasn't a good listener, but he could swear the package was ticking. Either way, Rhino was determined to make some money and started slowly walking the way he came.
It didn't occur to Rhino that the package could be a set up; in Rhino's time as a mercenary, he managed to anger quite a few organizations in New York due to failures against Spiderman and his natural liability to be a bit clumsy. The package was indeed a bomb, but it was set to go off early and take out Rhino with it. The organization was the same company that gave Rhino his suit and powers; they wanted to tie up loose ends and get rid of their mistake once and for all. Ironically, the bomb wouldn't be strong enough to kill Rhino, but the scientists behind Rhino's suit at Eastern Bloc were greatly underestimating their work. The bomb however would be strong enough to cause damage to a public building or even civilians, but not at a large radius since Eastern Bloc only planned to try to kill Rhino with the bomb.

The Reaper took the package and watched the man leave in a cloud of smoke. He glanced back up at the girl and grinned. "Please...I have as much reason to be afraid of you as I did those little girls." he replied. He felt the trickl of fire behind him finally eat through the roof and make it's way into the room below them. He caught the woman take a deep breath and decided to try and steal a bit more power before she did anything. One of the reapers beside the Spider shot the blade of his scythe out from his cloak. It was meant for her ribbs, but with all her movement it landed in her arm instead. A second later none of the reapers could move at all. Shadow grunted as she felt the blade sink into her arm. She glared down at the blade and kicked the frozen reaper away from her. Out of reflex and anger her spider leggs thrashed the other reaper away from her as well. She wanted to smash all of them into ice shreads, but knew that wouldn't do any good. The bit of black fire snaked it's way throughout the building until it found it's way to the ground level. It slid outside and onto the street, moving down the edges of the building until it found an alley a few blocks away. He reformed himself and glanced back at the building. He'd let them play with his duplicates until she completely destroyed them. He pulled back a bit of his bloody cloak and pulled out the package that was given to him. He sliced it open with a boney finger and looked inside. He gave it a twisted smile and put the package back inside his cloak. He'd get to that in a moment. First...maybe he could find where the woman took the the last little girl while they were all distracted. He looked back out at the street towards where the woman took her...and something caught his attention. What looked like a Rhino, walking on two leggs, right down the street. Getting a closer look at the beast, he noticed he actually had feet, and was carrying something. Another costume perhaps?

Kara had about twenty fantastic comebacks for his assertion that she was harmless, especially considering the current situation, but she wasn't sure how much time she had before the skeleton popsicles melted. Instead, she shot forward, gathering up all of the frozen Reapers, and then paused long enough to turn to the woman and say, "Sit tight for a second." Then she zoomed up through the atmosphere, and off in the direction of the sun.

Shadow knoded at her and watched her fly off. She glanced down at her arm a moment to check how deep it was. Wasn't really that bad if she stitched it up. It would heal itself. Same as her neck and side. She leaned her head back and sighed deeply, trying to clam herself down. Black thread wove it's way through the gash in her arm until it was tight. She closed her eyes a moment, thinking about how stupidly carless she had just been. She was never like that. Why did she let all of that get to her? She should have used her webbing on them instead of just striking at them. She should have used her shadows and phased them into the river. Anything. Her 'other' would have been able to handle that better. What was she saying? She opened her eyes and crossed her arms aggrivatedly. She shifted her weight to one side and looked out onto the city. She needed to clear her head completely. Find something else to consentrate on.

Kara could only list a few occasions that were as monumentally satisfying as watching the reapers fly into the roiling, spitting surface of the sun. She watched for a bit, just to make sure that they weren't coming back out. "Oh, yeah," she muttered, though she couldn't hear herself in the vacuum of space, "No reason to be afraid of me." With that, she turned and started back toward earth, trying hard to feel accomplished, or at least satisfied. Instead, she just felt... empty. At least one child had died. She knew that she was physically incapable of saving everyone, but these kids had been mere blocks away!
Coming back down through the atmosphere, she paused, her eyes wide. Earth... did not look normal. There were only a few locations that she could make out. New York, Gotham, Metropolis, some little speck of land in Europe. Everything else was just... sort of whited out, like someone had decided it was a mistake that needed to be erased. Sick with sudden fear-- what did this mean?-- Kara flew back down toward earth. I'll figure this out, she promised herself as the buildings of Metropolis rose up to meet her, Whether I find Kal-El or not.
She landed gracefully on the top of the building once more, and then walked over to the woman. "Um... He's gone," she said hesitantly; the woman was obviously grieving, and she didn't know what to do about it. "I..." She bit her lip, and then brightened a little. "I did save one of them," she continued.

Shadow caught a bit of movement in the sky and turned her head to watch the woman fly back down. She knodded at her and kind of looked away. As angry as she was...she managed to take care of that creep. She couldn't even do that. 'No, stop it. Don't get yourself worked up again.' she though, focusing on the ground. She felt her heart skip a beat when the woman said that she'd saved one of them. She was still focused on the ground, but her expression instatly changed to relief. " You di-where-where is she?" she asked a bit shakily.

Rhino didn’t like how the package started ticking more and more as time went on and decided it was best to not risk any trouble on his first visit to Metropolis. Being he idiot he was, Rhino simply through up the package and stabbed it with his horn, causing a mild explosion that took a nice chunk out of the street corner he was on. Rhino -being the powerhouse he always was- emerged from the blast with his body smoking and covered in mild ash, but otherwise he was perfectly fine besides the mild trauma of just being hit by an explosion. Rhino grumbled something close to Russian that was unintelligible and fell over to take a nap; the explosion took a lot out of him, but he would wake up in a few minutes fine and dandy.

Seeing the relief rush onto the woman's face was enough to make Kara grin with relief herself. "A couple blocks down," she said quickly, "I wanted to get her out of the way before I started clobbering Skeletor with a car." She made a face. "Not that it did any good. Anyway, she should be near the intersection of main and seventh." She paused briefly, then continued reluctantly. "Can you find it yourself? I should go and let ... everyone know about our favorite skeleton. The JLA likes to keep track of people who can duplicate powers, and there's no way to be sure that I got every copy of him." The sudden, distant sound of an explosion rang in her ears, and she sighed. "I should also go check that out."

The Reaper watched as the box exploded, leaving the man seeminly untouched. He laughed amusedly as he mumbled something and collapsed. He stared at him a moment, half tempted to walk over to get a better look. After what happened it would be appropriate...being the Reaper and all. He though about the look on the mans face when he woke up to find him standing over him. What an amusing world he was in. So much more interesting when you know no one. A surprise when you drain their powers. "Yeah, yeah. I'll find her." she replied sounding even more relieved. " Thank you..." The shadow under her quickly shot off of the roof and spread over most of the street, gliding over buildings as it moved down the street. After a moment, she found a familiar shadow and small feet. Roxanne's shadow shrank around hers, ready for quick teleportation.
