"Watch another movie? Because we paid so much attention to the one we are currently watching." The rat rolled his eyes. "Won't they ask which friends you are with?" Adrian didn't want Carlos to leave or have the unicat's family find out who he's with...but he also didn't want Carlos to lie to them or ignore them.

Carlos blushed darkly and buried his face in Adrian's shirt. "You... didn't?" Besides the intermittent chatter, there really were long periods of silence and the movie was full-length. So what was Adrian thinking about the whole movie? It took the unicat a few moments to gather his thoughts and consider the rat's question. Would they ask? They might... Would Jimi ask? If he wasn't busy enough not to think it through, yeah he would! "Well... if they do ask I'll tell them the whole truth. That yes I'm with you, you're being very well-behaved and you're feeding me." He peeked curiously up at Adrian.

Adrian shrugged. He was mainly watching Carlos and thinking about things. "You mean you were paying attention? And not falling asleep? And jumping into my lap?" He stared at the unicat. "You would really tell your dad you're with me and that I'm feeding you? He might start asking questions when you tell him I'm feeding you."

"Er... yes, I admit I was falling asleep," the unicat muttered guiltily. He couldn't help it, he just felt so comfortable and safe with Adrian, provided the rat wasn't about to go on a rampage. "Dad would probably make a comment about me blowing away in the wind."

Adrian shrugged again and kissed the top of Carlos' head. "I didn't mind you falling asleep and jumping in my lap." He blinked. "What do you mean, blowing away in the wind? You haven't stopped eating have you?"

"Oh." Well, that Adrian didn't mind was obvious, though it made him happy to hear it anyway. "No, I can just eat and eat and never put on any weight. People have laughed and said I must have a tapeworm. I know it's just that I haven't stopped growing yet," he grinned.

Adrian sighed in relief. "Good, because I would hate to have to shove food down your throat if you weren't eating." The rat really would have forced the unicat to eat if he had stopped eating.

"What do you mean? Why would I stop eating? You saw me eating that hamburger and fries, didn't you?" What a confusing question, unless Adrian thought he might be bulimic? "I'm just really scrawny," he grinned.

"You just made it seem like you had stopped eating is all. I misunderstood, the end." Adrian shook his head and hugged Carlos. "You're not scrawny."

"Oh... well I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you," he replied, kissing Adrian's nose. He returned the rat's hug with a grin then tilted his head curiously. "Really?" He always thought he was scrawny, not that it was such an insult, but it wasn't the most flattering thing to tell someone either.

"It's fine, I wasn't worried," Adrian lied. "Well, you are scrawny, but you aren't." That was Adrian's roundabout way of saying Carlos was perfect, without actually saying it.

Carlos blinked and leaned his head back on Adrian's chest. The rat was a bad liar, but it felt really good to know that he cared that much. He hugged the rat tightly, smiling happily.

Adrian had a feeling that Carlos got what he meant, which was how it should be. It's one of those things that made the unicat good for the rat; he understood him. Anyways, the rat kept his arms tightly around Carlos.

They could probably do this all night and Carlos would not complain. He might fall asleep, but he would not be discontented in the slightest. His tail curled and he started purring again.

Adrian shuffled a bit. "Let's do something else. This is getting kinda...boring." And sappy, the rat thought. As nice as sitting there doing nothing was, it wasn't something he could do for long periods of time.
