Aras flushed hotly as she was pulled to Rhea's chest, but as he let her go she relaxed a bit - though as Rhea took his hands from hers, she couldn't help but feel that same strange disappointment once more. She smiled at him encouragingly as he tried to float as Corrah had taught them - and when he sank under the water, her eyes grew wide with panic, and she reached under, groping for his arms so that she could pull him back up again.
"Rhea," she gasped, tugging on him and trying to bring him back above the water. "Don't ... drown ..."
Corrah sighed at Ruran. Some people just weren't capable, it was true ... but he also had a feeling that the boy was letting himself get too worked up about it.
"Just go take a break," he muttered, turning away from him just in time to see Rhea go under the water. With a quick glance at Kanis to make sure she was still all right, he started off towards Rhea to help Aras pull him from the water.

Rhea felt Aras' hands moving over his shoulders and his body started to warm despite the cold water. He shifted forward to nuzzle her belly as he let her help him back up. He stood up and laughed smiling, "Rhea not good...with floating."
His tail wagged under the water and turned to smile at Corrah, "Air where?" it seemed like the dip under the water had calmed a bit of his wild nature. He seemed like a pup again though his eyes still held their wild look in them. He was going to be a adult soon even if his body was still a a pup.
Kanis was still floating though now her eyes were open and looking up at the sky.
Ruran nods and went to sit on the shore looking at his sister's wet pants. He did still work on holding his breath the right way and it was clear from how his hand was on this neck and his chest was moving.

Aras giggled when Rhea nuzzled her belly and her cheeks turned a soft shade of red, but she didn't let go of him - on the contrary, she was so glad he was all right that she threw her arms around him and hugged him as tightly as she possibly could.
"I'm so glad you're safe," she murmured into his ear. "I was worried about you."
Corrah sighed with relief and smiled gently at Rhea. He had also been worried ...
"Aras," he said softly, "why don't you go train with your sister for a bit? Perhaps I can help Rhea. Or if you're tired you can rest with your brother, he seemed to be having a bit of difficulty."

Rhea smiled and licked Aras' cheek his tail wagging. Though he turned and smiled at Corrah. At least it seemed that Rhea could hold his breath.
He tilted his head and slowly let his arms go and allowed Aras to move where she wanted to needed too.
Ruran glares, "I am not having difficulties." he mumbled to himself and rolled his eyes. So what if he could not float he could at least sim...or walk on threw the water.

Aras smiled up at Corrah.
"I'll go with Kanis," she told him softly. "I don't need to rest ... I don't think ... but it will be nice to work with her for a bit."
She turned to Rhea and smiled warmly. "I'll be back soon!" she promised him with a gleam in her eye - and then she headed over to join her sister in the water.
Corrah looked down at Rhea, his expression hesitant.
"You know," he said, bending over so that he was closer to Rhea's height, "you don't really have to do this ... I'm sure that you know other ways from your wolfish half, and if that works better than that's also fine ..."

Ruran sighs and goes back into the shallow water to start trying to float agian no way he was going to let his sisters get better than him. And if Aras was not going to take a break neither would he.
Rhea smiled up at Corrah and moved to hold onto Cocrrah's shoulder his legs resting on Corrah's thigh. "Pack works together...sisters train...father train...Rhea train?"
He was a bit confused by Corrah's look. He leaned forward and licked Corrah's scared cheek.

Corrah chuckled softly and ruffled Rhea's hair affectionately. "Well then, let's give it another try, shall we?" he murmured fondly to the boy. He was proud of Rhea's determination, though he would never say it aloud to anyone but Armus. He didn't have to do any of this - and yet he was. He didn't know if it was because of Aras, or if there was another reason, but it made him glad that Armus had found the boy.
"So you want to try hold your air here," he smiled softly, gently tapping the boy's throat just below his larynx. "And you can breathe past it, and it should let you float."

Kanis shifted when she felt someone near her and went back to swimming a bit shocked to see Aras with her. "Are you not floating with Rhea?" She smiled and looked over to see Corrah ruffling Rhea's hair.
She smiled and nods, "Alrighty then I will help you Aras...I think girls can float better than boys...because...um...well we have breasts." She smiles, "You just need to relax and not think about floating...just let your body lay back." she said and allowed her body to start floating again before she went back to sitting and smiling at Aras.
Rhea barked happily at Corrah and the affection he was getting his tail flicking over the water as it wagged fiercely. He nodded his head and took a breath trying again to catch the air.

Aras smiled at Kanis and trailed her fingers through the water as she continued to approach her sister.
"Corrah wanted to do some one on one with Rhea," she replied softly. "Rhea was having ... trouble ..."
She giggled at Kanis's words and turned around to walk backwards, slowly tilting her body so that she was on her back. "Well, that would explain why Ruran can't do it," she mused, "and why it's so easy for us ..."
She took the air into her throat and lifted her legs and started floating right next to her sister. Indeed, it was quite easy for the two of them - and though she was worried for Rhea, she was amused by Ruran's inability to float. He always wanted to be the best at everything ... looks like not this time.
Corrah smiled warmly at Rhea and gave his one ear a quick stroke before reaching down and holding the boy by his ribs, just as he had with Kanis.
"All right," he murmured softly, "I'm going to hold you in the water, and you try it again ... and I'll let go of you and we'll see how you float."

Kanis enjoyed seeing her siblings and friends smiling. So she was glad to hear Aras giggling about something she said. She floated calmly and reached out her hand to take ahold of her sisters. She did enjoy floating.
Rhea shut his eyes enjoying the firm but quick rub to his ear. He smiled at Corrah glad that the alpha seemed to be playing with him again. He leaned forward his eyes now open and licked the tip of the scarred elf's nose.
When the hands went around his ribs he started to giggle and wriggled a bit before he relaxed and tried again to float.
Ruran over heard his sisters talking and though the breast part intrigued him and angered him he took the relaxing advice and sure enough soon he was floating a bit shaky but floating like his sisters in the shallow water.

Aras smiled as she felt Kanis's hand slip into her own, and she clasped it warmly, glad that her sister was near. She said nothing however, and simply enjoyed the feeling of floating above the water, with nothing beneath her.
Corrah chuckled softly. "Ticklish, I see," he murmured. "Calm down and you'll be fine."
And he lay Rhea on the water, holding him below his back and knees.
"Now try it," he instructed with a smile, lowering his hands slightly to see if the boy would float.

Rhea giggled and nods. He tried again but as Corrah's hands moved down so did Rhea. Clearly floating was not a skill of his.
He smiled warmly up at Corrah even as he failed at the task. When he was under the water he rolled onto his belly and started to doggy paddle.

Corrah chuckled and ruffled Rhea's hair affectionately. "Well then, we'll just say you can swim already, and leave it at that, how does that sound?"
He grinned and watched the boy for a moment more, then turned back to the others to check on them, his face once more expressionless. "Well?" he asked them all, speaking so that they could all hear him now. "How is it going?"

Kanis dropped Aras's hand and stood up, she turned to look at Corrah and smiles, "Aras if floating sir." She said and motioned to her floating sister.
Ruran sat up, "I am getting it too."
Rhea nods and smiles at the alpha before he started to dog paddle over towards Aras with the intention to surprise her. He didn't mind water so much.

Aras let the air out of her lungs and her throat as Kanis let go of her hand, and she sank briefly before planting her feet and standing in the chest-deep water.
"Kanis was doing it too, sir," she grinned proudly at their trainer. She didn't deserve any more praise than her sister, after all: and Kanis had done it sooner, and better.
Corrah nodded, satisfied with all three of the children. Well ... Ruran's floating seemed a bit weak, but ... it would do.
"Then why don't we take a break," he suggested. "We should head back for lunch ... and I'm not certain, but I think I may have to call on Armus to make some new clothes for you, until you can go home and have your mother provide some."
Especially Kanis and Ruran ...
