Hey im kakashibuff and ive just started. im working on a sora costume from kingdom hearts 2. but its hard. I dont know if i should us metal for the keyblade and armor or just the blade.

hi, I'm Lulu, I actually got my Gaia name from my cosplay of Lulu from FFX. I'm in college and extrememly busy so I don't get much time to go to a convention but I like to go to Acen when I can, but I will miss it for the second year this year crying
I hope to begin work on some new costumes over the summer and next year so I'll be ready when I finally get a chance to go to another con!
I'm hoping that I can get tips and stuff in here to get started sewing on my own.

My name is Amalie, but please call me Ama for short. I've been cosplaying for about 5 years, but nothing serious. This year I'll be making a kimono and cosplaying Sumire from Sakura Taisen. I'll be going in a big group to Anime North this year. I've done cosplays of Sailor Neptune, Kaori and Galaxia from Sailor Moon, Merle from Escaflowne and Seras Victoria from Hellsing. My name is Hunter and I'm a big cosplay geek. I've just recently taken up commissioning and so my summer will be as busy as ever. I enjoy the only convention I go to so far and I plan on taking a lot of costumes to it this year. I'm also a big band geek and when I'm not cosplaying I'm playing music. Feel free to PM me with questions or answers to cosplay (I'll be asking a lot of questions becuase I'm not the brightest crayon in the box stressed ) I would like to get to know everyone here as well as possible because I love being surrounded by fellow cosplayers.

hello, i'm chaos i've been cosplaying for 2 years but i can't remember how long it has been since i made my first costume. My first costume was kikyo from inuyasha. I am currently working on and ed costume form cowboy bebop and konkuro from naruto for animenext.

Hello all,
How's it going? I can't say much about myself because there's nothing all that interesting. I've been cosplaying for a couple years now but I've had to skip some years to help my grandparents with their farm. So technically, I've only really cosplayed about two years or so. (Halloween doesn't count does it?)
I'm pretty picky about who I cosplay and I tend to play guys. Actually, at the conventions, all I've ever dressed as, were guys. I generally like their outfits more (and most cover a bit more skin than the girls outfits) plus I think I look like a guy (I'm like a stick) crying Might as well put it to use I guess. I'm a stickler for details also.
I'm from Alberta, Canada and the only real convention I've ever gone to was Animethon. I only really go to dress up and most times if I can't figure out what to dress up as, I don't go and head out of town to do something else. This year I hope I can go to the convention again but it looks bleak. Maybe I'll get some ideas from you guys and make some friends along the way. (I don't like random PM's by the way, we need to talk at least a little while)
Anyways, this intro is getting long winded. Nice meeting you guys. See you in the forums. wink

hmm..
i was just a spectator/cosplay fan before but now my 1st major cosplay that i did is Tenten from Naruto & 2nd major cosplay that i did is Edward Elric from Hagaren no Renkinjutsushi (which i cosplayed it a year ago and still gonna cosplay this June)
and Im currently working on Ragnarok's Merchant with a Cart for Level-up Live and Magna Carta's Justina for the U Got Game event

My name's Jessie. Fresh from the midwest cosplay community. Been living in Florida a couple of months now. Been to Megacon and JACON, will be adding Houkacon and AFO to that list soon. I'll also be at Anime Expo this year.
I'm know in he cosplay community as AnimeAngel. And it is my alias on Cosplay.com, Cosplaylab, ACParadise, etc. Other names I go by online is AnimeKaos and DeviousElite. You can all me Jessie.
I have over 17 finished costumes, and I'm always working on more. Seems it never stops.
I'm turn 21 this year and on my birthday will have been cosplaying for 7 years.

Hi! I'm happy to be accepted into this guild. I'm new to Gaia and have never really cosplayed at conventions. I just cosplay sometimes at home for picture taking. But I'm a big cosplay fan and spend time on the internet looking at cosplay pictures. I hope to cosplay at conventions sometime in the future.

Hey all,
Um .. hm, what to say. Well first off, I'm a girl (with a guy avvie) and I live in Perth, Australia ... which means I get one convention a year. You guys can call me Lolo if you want, I know my username gets a little annoying to type out. I've been cosplaying for three years now, and I sew all my own stuff.
I guess I just joined this guild to talk to like minded people. My friends are a little interested, but they never want to go into much detail, and my family just think I'm wierd sweatdrop
And I think that's it. I'm currently working on a Rosette costume for this year's convention.

Um, hi... I'm Aurora, and I'm a 20 year old girl. I've never cosplayed before, because truthfully, I didn't even know about it until very late last year)I live a VERY sheltered life..) I was going to cosplay for the first time next weekend, but couldn't get the outfit together in time- mostly because I was embarrassed for the longest time to tell my family of my intentions, and tried to get them to get me the stuff for my birthday last month, but that didn't happen. So, I've now settled for telling them it's for a Halloween costume, but that I want to get the stuff now because some of the clothing is 'summer stuff'. That's working so far, but I won't be ready in time for next weekend... But luckily there's another convention by me in November. So, yeah, I'm embarrassed. But I know my parents, and my father woould think I'm a freak, while my mother would just tell me no, because it's a waste of time and money. And I'm shy, so that doesn't help. But when I go in November, they'll get the point. The outfit I'm working on is Deidara from Naruto, because I've been told I look a lot like Dei, and besides, Deidara is 1 of my 3 fav characters from that series. And I won't need a wig or contacts, yay!!(never worn contacts, and me and wigs don't mix)
Anyways, nice to meet you all!!! Hopefully I'll see some of you at next weekend's convention...

Hello everyone! I'm relatively new at cosplaying, but I love it! I cosplayed as Sakura from Naruto at Katsucon this year, and I'm going to be Sloth in an FMA cosplay group next weekend at Anime Mid-Atlantic. I'll also be at Anime Expo this year, for pretty much the whole time. ^_^ Hope I can learn a lot here and chat with some cool people!
