Your spanish teacher has to yell at you for speaking in french in class. Again.
You sing a random series of words in other language to the tune of an english song.
You ask your english/spanish speaking friend to edit a poem in french and then ask what the problem is.
You babble at random in a weird language mix that doesn't really make sense to anyone but you. sweatdrop

Proudly_Jewish lol, about a year ago my science teacher made me wash my desk after I'd spent all period scribling a Latin text I'd memorized onto it... sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop ^^ My french class last year was made almost completely of people who also took spanish or italian, so she was rather lenient on us. But she said that we could just insert wordsin other languages at random if we didn't remember a french word on a test. Twas funny.

when you are to the point you can't understand your native language!! This seriously happened to me. Or when you are hainv a conversation and start talking in another language without relizing it. I''ve done that too.

I can't say I have any original ideas, but I have had dreams where I've spoken fluent french...it was pretty weird as some of the tenses I used turned out to be ones I didn't know at the time.

KittyKomix when you are to the point you can't understand your native language!! This seriously happened to me. Or when you are hainv a conversation and start talking in another language without relizing it. I''ve done that too. I've started having conversations in French with people and not realised till they start giving me weird looks. Also, if I have a long conversation with my dad over the phone one night, the next morning I'll wake up and start talking with a british accent...not that that is speaking another language but it's pretty random. I pick up accents easier than I pick up the actual language, it's kind of useful cause once i know the language i always get told i have a good accent!

My algebra notes turned into a family tree of the indo european languages.
I still have my notes, and a scanner if you don't believe me. gonk

I'm not obsessed with languages. Yet. I'm too obsessed with my university courses to allow myself the priviledge.
But I've already seen some signs. eek
I can't speak/read/understand any language fully other than english. I know a few words here and there of about three or four languages.
So it scares me when I'm reading my textbook/other printed material and get totally confused on certain words, only to realize that it translates to ___ in ___ and then the sentence makes sense. o.O
