Callista stuck out her lower lip. It quivered a little as she made puppy dog eyes. "Please? I'll show you one of my tricks if you show me one of yours."

Callista's mouth dropped open. "That's pretty!" She stuck her hoof out to touch the the pretty violet flame.

Callista was still enamoured with the flame. "It's really nice." She turned around and sighed heavily. "Now I have to show you something." She turned back and winked at Valzar. "This should work. Don't get too alarmed. I'll be ok." She roughly opened a small space of earth and floated down. "I won't close it so you can see, but normally it would be closed." She settled down into the earth and stopped her heart like she saw Gregori and Aria do.

Valzar frowned, "Callista?" She appeared as dead...

Callista's heart began to beat again slowly and her eyelashes fluttered. After a couple of minutes she woke up fully and floated up out of the "grave." She waved another hoof to clean the dirt from her and then closed the earth. "Ta-da!"

Callista nodded. "I'm not a Vampire. I'm a Carpathian. All Vampires used to be Carpathians. That's what happens when Carpathian males don't find their lifemate and give into the call of power." She nodded again, a serious look on her face.
