Layna stared at this new paper, her eyes filled with the confusion that had not ceased. She stared out the window, as if to see who it was. But she knew who it was who had sent both. She stood up, a hand gripping the window sill. "Mama?" Gabriel murmured, tugging at his mother's pant leg. He wasn't sure what to think. "Gabriel, stay with Razu, alright, dear one?" She murmured, patting his head in a motherly way. She looked at the other two in the room, her expression confused. "I'll...I'll be back." She whispered, not sure what was to happen.She smiled at her son, before she pushed herself out the window. She landed lithely upon the pavement, and took off down the street, her step nearly inaudible.

Razu knew what was going on and he moved as to follow her but then sunk to the bed. He felt his heart crush together and for a moment he felt as if life was only a gray blob before it all came back together when Razu's mind was contacted by Steffon and Duke together. Both animal friends comforting him.
'We're still here for you if she choses him instead of you.'
Razu blinked and looked at Gabe,"Hey you. Come here and give me a hug?"

Gabriel was ready pounce upon the person who he had come to know as father, as Ra Ra, when he froze, his ears tweaked. "Mama..?" He whined softly, hearing a cry loudly echo. He wriggled up onto the window sill to look about, and then back at Razu with a whimper, his eyes wide.

Razu's head snapped up as he too heard the scream. He murmmers,"That sounds like that came from Layna's apartment...c'mon Gabe. Let's go see what that was." He scoops Gabe and hurries to Layna's apartment. (ecit)

Razu entered the apartment through the door this time. He sat with a sigh on the couch. He stared unseeingly at the wall as his mind slipped into the past.
'Father! Come here! Look at this! Look!' A young boy waved Razu over as he crouched over the river.
Razu went over with a huge smile,'Now Katsu! What do you have there?' He see's a near half drowned Liger kitten. 'Oh Katsu we need to take care of the poor thing! What do you do first to cure shock?'
Katsu said brightly,'I know this one! You have to dry it and feed poppy seeds to him. Should we chew it up for the little guy?'
Razu nodded,'Yes because it can't chew the seeds it self.'
Katsu looked around and found the seeds he needed. He put the small black seeds into his mouth and chewed carefully. He took the pulp out of his mouth and as Razu held open the Kitten's mouth stuffed it in. katsu rubbed the Ligers throat making it swallow the glob.
Katsu took his shirt off and began to rub the Liger Kitten dry. Doing so also got the blood flowing properly.
Razu blinked,'Good job Katsu. I'm proud of you.'
Katsu looked up,'So the Liger will be okay?'
Razu nodded,'Yes. Of course.'
'Yay! I did good!'

Razu wrenched his eyes open tears trinkling down his face. Frown he wiped his face impatiently. Katsumomo was dead for as far as Razu knew. There had been nothing he could have done. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't find his only son. Razu paused for a moment as the image of Gabe come to his mind before shaking his head. Gabe wasn't his son. He was Layna's and Ceon's son. No matter how much he cared for the little lycan pup. They were probably back together again. No doubt it. Layna couldn't leave Ceon for someone like Razu. Someone who took advantage of her lowered defences. Razu pulled out the ring he had offered to her. It had been his mothers ring given to him by his father shortly before he had died. Razu raised his hand as if to throw the ring away before lowering his hand and just sat there staring at it. He couldn't do it. It was the only physical obeject he had of his parents.

Layna hesitantly knocked on the door, her skin cold. But Gabriel was loud and giggling, calling out for Razu, the person who he stil called father. "Daddy daddy!" He squealed, his little hands knocking at the door. Layna sighed, awaiting Razu to open it.

Razu gave a start at the small voice calling out daddy. For a momet his mind was sucked back into the past of KatsuMomo before he shook it away and got up to answer the door sticking the ring into his pocket. He saw Layna and his whole face lit up,"Gabe! Layna! How are you?"

Gabriel wriggled in his mother's arms. "Daddy!" He squealed happily. Layna rubbed the back of head lightly, and sighed, unsure what to say now, her mind muddled. "You'd be right to be upset with me right now. I need someone to be upset with me, be mad at me." She smiled half-heartedly, and then looked back down the hallway. "You know what...Let's go for a run. I need to get my mind off of everything." But she knew nothing of the new dangers that now walked in New York, that their kind and all others...were known. She ran down the hallway, laughing softly as she paused at the staircase, before she descended and ran through the front door of the apartment building.

Razu walked slowly after Layna went to the park. He wasn't really sure if he wanted to after his mind drew him to the past twice within the hour. He also felt like he was betraying Layna's trust by not telling her of KatsuMomo and his dead mate.

Razu flew up the stairs barely even hitting the stairs before he moved on to the next. He opened the door and quickly booted up his computer in his room.

Razu shut down his computer and stretched. He gathered the printed paper from the printer and went to the door. It had taken close to five hours to destroy all evidence of his cyber hacking. He glanced at his watch, he had expected Jaden to be here already seeing as it had taken so long. He was worried that the alpha had gotten himself into some type of trouble before they even began the break in. He opened the door and head to Jaden's place once again.
