As the tornado came closer to the building, the odds of zombies landing on the mansion's roof increased, as well. About two in three zombies that landed survived, and so soon there was a mass of zombies shuffling about the roof, trying to find a way in from above.

The tornado did succeed in thinning the lines of robots at the front steps, so that only a few dozens standing under the awnings remained, and those were quickly getting diminished by the efforts of those around them.

Caesar would find himself surrounded and against the wall, and his bullets did manage to take out the four of his estimation. Those four froze in place before him, creating a cage of sorts, that the other zombies would start to reach through, trying to grab him and tear him apart.

The bots at the window were getting pelted, but more were coming through, and now five had made it inside unmolested. Some heavier artillery then an antique lamp was needed.

The zombies also pushed at the door, now blocked by other, more sticky robots. The more got caught in the mess, the more they pushed, until a large group of them stumbled in the front door, writhing on the floor in a mess of glue.

Wow, now that was a beating implement.

Jacknife had spotted the four zombies that were just kind of standing around Caesar. Dead bodies weren't conscious, and there was a question as to whether or not zombie robots were conscious to begin with, but it was almost certainly time for some heavier artillery.

One of the zombies lifted into the air as Jacknife raised a hand, then it began to slam into other zombies like a massive club. That should be a bit more effective than just breaking ceramic things over metal heads.

Beads of sweat were starting to break out on Jacknife's forehead from the mental strain. This was rough.

Caesar found himself with two empty barrels, an exited the way he had came: pushing through the wall which yielded to his touch like a mountain of wet butter. When he backed through the wall was left intact. No, it wouldn't stop the zombies for long, but it would force them to move for the door: giving Caesar the time he would need to reload the two weapons.

It was a bit of an ornate process: he held both weapons vertical in one hand and popped their cylinders, letting the shells shake loose with a deft flick of the wrist. Both open chambers were loaded with speed loaders from his bandolier with snapping, practiced movements. He then shook both cylinders closed with another practiced wrist movement.

He didn't pause when horrible metallic rending noises began to come from the adjacent room: he just lowered the weapons towards the door and swiftly backed to the steps Jack was on. When they poured out of that door, he was going to clog it again, and then shoot past the first robozombie in an attempt to further halt their advance.

That was the hope, anyways.

Aiolos was turning red. A flutist had to have a large lung capacity, but even Aiolos would have to breath sooner or later. Nonetheless, he kept on, tossing the zombies every which way. He supposed he could control it for three or four minutes, then it'll go on it's own and twirl around every which way until it eventually died out. It wasn't as epic of a storm as the flaming tornado of department store crap and most of old Barton, but it did it's purpose.

Joseph bent down and grabbed one of the TEC-BSTR rounds from the crate before pushing the crate into the next room. With a quick load he shot the electrified spike in an arc over the glooey mess in hopes of taking down a few more. Quickly after he ran into the next room, closing another reinforced door behind him and leaving the glue robots to sort themselves out.

He'd lock er down before once again emptying his gun once more. Now to deal with that window. He'd grab another HE round, but not load it up, he needed to get to that window.

Rushing over he'd see Gambion getting slightly overwhelmed, and Joseph couldn't do anything as everything was unloaded! Wrong, he still had those two gun droids. Each let out a burst of three bullets towards the zombies, targeting computers aiming for the head or chest.

The bots were taking a beating by the window, beaten by their own (via Gambion's mind powers) and getting shot at. The head shots killed, while the chest shots only slowed--a distinction that was becoming more obvious in the situation. A single zombie survived the first barrage, and made a beeline for Caesar, who charged at Gambion, its closest target.

Outside, the zombies were largely focused on getting at Aiolos. The tornado was literally getting clocked with the machines, getting in the way of airways, if such a thing were possible. What happens to a tornado when it gets overloaded, anyway?

The zombies on the roof were frantically tearing off shingles and punching at the material beneath, trying to literally collapse the roof beneath them.

Well crap.

Zombie rushing him, and he really didn't have much on hand to kick a** with. Besides, he was busy concentrating on beating the crap out of other zombies... with other zombies. So that one coming was going to get pretty damn close before Jacknife could do anything about it.

Luckily it had to be coming from down the stairs at him, so it was in his direct line of sight, which meant that Jacknife would notice it. He would be able to release his hold on the dead thing, which would simply fall to the floor. He had about half a moment to take his bearing.

Then no time to do any sort of awesome move.

Except...

KICK TO THE FOREHEAD.

Hopefully that would make the zombie stumble backwards a bit, which in turn would hopefully make it fall backwards down the staircase. Otherwise... He was going to have a zombie on him.

Caesar, guns empty and barrels smoking, holstered his right-hand gun and rapidly drew his sawn-off to intercept the zombie that broke through their barriers.

He had known when he had operated on the weapon he was sacrificing magazine capacity; but now he had to witness it. He had the two firearms switched in the blink of an eye, the weapon leveled one-handed, and discharged at point blank range into the robozombie's face a moment later.

It wouldn't have been quick enough without the kick.

He had one round left in the shotgun after that (and what had gone down in the palace's upper dome). He dropped it back into its leg strap, and used his free hand to load his left-hand's gun from another speed loader.

"WE NEED A PLAN!"

Caesar Coriando, master of the obvious.

"YES, YES WE DO!" Joseph would respond right back before putting a HE grenade through the window with an unceremonious "bloop".

"Here's what I'm thinking... I'll see if I can get us some transport delivered to the back door, then we'll clear out. I can probably lock down enough of the building to keep the control tower safe." He spoke in the midst of reloading the M79 with yet another HE round, "Course it'll take a bit to get here, so We'll have to last stand like ******** droids would fire off four round bursts each at the window, targeting computers adjusting for a 80% attempt at lining up headshots. They were covering their designated master as he went to his nav-wrist and began punching in a special order.

Lahren wasn't bothering with the crossbows anymore, or any of the fancy acrobatics he could do. Technically, he couldn't do that anyway, it was in a closed space.

But in any case, he would pop out of superstealth right behind Jacknife, right in time to loose an arrow into the face of a robozombie, or the robozombie behind it if that one had already been shut down.

The interior zombies were destroyed by the actions of brave Team Bryant, but there were plenty more where that came from, and they were clawing their way through the window. Their fallen allies were piling up by the window, become shields as well as hindrances, and allowing more of the zombies to make it indoors without presenting a clear shot.

The ceiling was beginning to stress from the combined weight and force of the zombies.

Inside Aiolos' twister, enough zombies had entered that one was pushed into the eye, high above Aiolos. With a shriek it would plummet down towards the flutist, claws extended in anticipation of its crash landing.

A brief reprieve to reload and regroup. Firstly, he'd be doing that reload whilst he checked the multiple messages being sent his way. First his own teammate.

"Dearest Sam, imagine a lot of robot zombies and then double it. That's what we're dealing with on the homefront. Likely going to have to abandon ship soon, getting us some wheels. Do not return here, it's a lost cause. Just keep in contact and try to survive.

Then the second message.

Now that it's raining more than ever.
Know that we'll still have each other.
You can stand under my umbrella.

JB (Ella-ella. Eh-Eh)

And with that he popped a HE round into his gun, and hit confirm order on his nav-wrist.

"Sounds like we've got some cats on a hot tin roof. This should be fun."
