With nothing to go on Tairu stood up and decided to continue with his search for the missing cat. This is really turning out to be not worth five ryo! Tairu thought with frustration. This is worth five ryo and great a dinner, so mom you better pay up when I bring this stupid cat home! Tairu was searching all over the courtyard yet he could not find that cat no matter how hard he searched. Once more this cat was proving to be incredible crafty, it was probably more than a worthy adversary for Tariu. With his chakra reserves closing in on empty Tairu desperately search high and low for the cat. He looked in the upper branches of the trees, and inside knot holes on the trunks. How hard can it be to find one cat?

Tairu swam through the cold waters of the lack until he reached the bridge that was previously used to cross over the lake. Tairu looked up and scanned the underside of the bridge as he treaded water. Damn, there's nothing here! How could I be so stupid, there's no way a cat would be hanging upside down underneath a bridge. With his latest guess at the cat's location a bust, Tairu swam through the cold waters back to the shore that he had dived in from. Tairu climbed out of the lake and shivered as water dripped from his hair and clothing. It's colder out here than it was in the water! Tairu thought as he stood underneath the shade of a tree.

Tairu was searching through the various bushes when he spotted a very odd looking bush. It appeared to have a black furry fungus growing underneath it. Well that's strange, that fungus has a surprisingly large amount of chakra. Tairu slowly crept over and poked it. The fungus suddenly moved and at that moment Tairu realized that he had found the missing cat. Reacting with "cat" like reflexes Tairu grabbed his furry target and hugged it tight. Feeling his wet shirt the cat growled and hissed as tried to claw its way to freedom. Hold on Kitty I'm bringing you home! Tairu said excitedly as he ran back towards the Main Compound. Due to the fits of scratching Tairu was now holding the cat at arms length as he ran; making him look absurd.

The tiles on the roofs were slick with last nights rain. The fog of the morning after made for a good diversion. Of course, this was still sneaking and entering into a compound of people who specialized in 'seeing' you coming. But then again, he was fairly...intimate with one of this clan and hoped to become that way with another. Soooooo what if she was their leader. That was of little concern t him really.

To be more precision, he didn't let it enter his mind. He didn't care what she was, just who she was. She was the cute chick who had swept into his life and left just as soon. Ok, so a war happened, big deal. So he had nearly died protecting the village he once called home. No one cared. So what if he had missed her and dreamed of her the whole time he was in a coma, details details.

He was here now and...completely lost. He had come to Konoha before and been given a tour of the compound out of courtesy for being a Taida but damn if he remembered his way around. Specially since the tour, as with most tours, was on the ground. He had no clue why they normally were on the ground but that sort of made sense...he guessed.

He came to a stop atop the biggest house in the compound and began to look around, scratching his head.
"Hmmm now where is she... I hope her and the midget are doin ok. OOoh, I hope she has some of that 'ver chew' stuff. It sounded kinda good."

Takami quickly walked into the compound after the long day at the academy, thinking back on the day, and the lesson's he had learned. Pondering on his actions of the day, the boy instinctively made a left turn on the third corner of the main road in the compound, followed by a right on the first corner off of that road. With a steady gait, he made his way to the final house on the street, waving to his neighbor, Kay-Sama, an elderly lady who had long retired from her career as a shinobi, followed by then her career of owning a store in the Hyuuga marketplace, which she had recently closed, now spending most of her days tending to the beautiful garden in front of her house. The boy walked through the wide doorway of his home, calling out for his mother, but getting no response. She must be working another double shift at the hospital......

The student leisurely made his way to the kitchen, searching for a piece of paper and something to write with, finally coming across a scrap of a scroll and a pencil, making a short note to his mother.


'Dear Mom,
I'm going off to train, and won't be back until slightly after dark, don't come looking for me, I'll be here and there, and I don't know where I'm going or what I'm gonna do yet, but I'll defiantly be in time for dinner!

P.S- I had a really good day at the academy, and I can't wait to talk about it when I get home!


He drifted towards the door, turning on his heel and moving to his room to change out of his white robe into one of a darker nature. He didn't want to get his new robe dirtier than it already was, and with what he was planning, there was a possibility that he could get wet. Takami quickly walked out of the house, being sure to shut the door securely behind him to keep any wandering cats from venturing into their house, again.

The boy strolled down his the private road he had know of his whole life, greeting neighbors as he walked past their house, kindly fetching a elderly couple's, the one at the end of the street, dog for them when it ran past him. After several minutes of chasing the pet down the peaceful road, he finally caught up to it, jumping forward and landing with his arms around the animal. "Here's Fluffy for you, ma'am!" he handed her the dog, backing away, waving at the couple, and turning his back, making a sharp turn onto the main road of the compound.

Takami walked in the main square of the town, greeting the merchants with a friendly wave and smile, stopping to talk to some of the other kids, giving the a happy grin, and placing 'bunny ears' behind the nearest child as he left. Passing his favorite ramen stand, Takami heard the familiar voice of the owner, Hyuuga Seiji, an unfortunate middle-age man who didn't inherit the clan's ability's, or any ninja abilities. "Hey, Taka-san, are you stopping by for some ramen? The man asked, hoping for some conversation with the boy, Takami's lively personality always seemed to brighten up his small shop.

"No not today, Seiji-Sama! I'm gonna go do some training and then I gotta go home and have dinner with my mom."

The boy bowed to the older Hyuuga, walking down a few more stores before taking a left and walking down the road reaching the dojo and making his way to the back corner of the matted area, seeing no other Hyuuga around, the boy quickly made his way towards the wall opposite of him, checking the list posted and studying the order of the stretches, hoping he could remember even the first one he was suppose to do......

ღ *Training takes place in an isolated time zone*

With the memory of his failure fresh in his mind, Takami circled his hips slowly at first, going in a single circle from the left, then to a circle to the right, gradually increasing his speed. The young Hyuuga then moved onto his usual stretching routine, bouncing on the balls of his feet, stretching out his ankles, as he swirled his shoulders forwards, in circles, then gradually swinging his arms along with the motion of his shoulders.

Moving onto the next routine, the boy held his left arm across his chest, barring it closer to him with the right, holding it there for a few seconds before switching to the next arm. Finally, the boy grabbed his left foot with his right hand, pulling it up to about hip level and holding it there for a few second before switching the leg he was pulling behind him, and stretching out his left hamstrings.

"I should really try this again," The boy told himself, shaking out his legs again before he started.

Putting his feet together, the boy threw his arms up above his head, taking in a deep breath, stretching his arms up even higher. Slowly moving his arms in an arc down towards his feet, being sure to bend only at the hips, and not at the legs as he had last time, messing up the integrity of the stretch.

Takami was at a ninety degree angle at the hips no, his hands creeping closer and closer to his feet. Grabbing his angles, the boy held his position for a second before slowly walking his fingers down the remaining portion of his legs, his fingers tips touching the floor now.

"Just a little bit more," the student told himself, slowly pressing his palms to the floor, taking extra care to make sure that his knees kept straight, so that he was able to keep the integrity of the stretch. Finally settling into the correct position, the boy held the stretch for a couple of seconds, before bending, again using mostly his hips, into an upright position.

Looking around and noting the, still, lacking absence of other kids training, the boy walked into a more open section of the jutsu, to give himself more space to stretch, and possibly later do some strength or dexterity training.

Except.....

He still didn't even know what the next stretch was. The boy paced from the center of the room to the outskirts of the back wall, checking a small sheet of paper with a list of possible stretches for someone to practice. The next on the list: front splits. The boy let out a silent sigh, remembering the days when he was a younger student and could never do the splits. This might take a couple tries. The boy noted the next two items on the list, "Both of these stretches are on the ground," the boy noted, "A single leg stretch on each of the legs." The boy moved to the spot in the middle of the room to continue his training.

Going through the Stretch Routine
Description: If Takami's gonna be great at Taijutsu, He has to be able to do the techniques, some of them are very tricky and require the user to be very flexible!

ღ "Front stretches.... I've gotta do front stretches now...." Takami told himself, already regretting his decision to do this stretch, as he could never do it as a kid, well at least he didn't have to go all the was down to the ground, just go far enough to push himself. Takami knew that he couldn't think like that, he knew that he would have to go farther than what would just 'push' him, he needed to do the stretch to where it would challenge him, He'd have to do work like that for the remainder of his life to always be ahead of the curve, so he could avoid tragedy in the future with enemies...

Takami took his hands and threw them over his head, slowly moving them in an arc down towards the ground, his hand eventually making it to the ground in front of his feet, allowing his legs to bend ever so slightly, this wasn't the main aspect of the stretch and it's not like it would effect the integrity of the stretch. Now this wasn't too hard, the boy would just have to tackle the stretch step by step, that way he wouldn't be too frightened by the idea of this stretch. Just one step at a time......

The young Hyuuga held the position of the stretch for almost a minute, fretting the stretch he was about to tackle, but then began to slowly edge out his feet, getting them just wider than shoulder width before stopping to hold it there for a little bit longer. Step two, done... The boy told himself, the constant reminders good for his morale.

He moved his feet out a little bit more, probably about two and a half feet apart now, still slowly moving out as more time passed. But then he got a huge cramp in his left leg, causing him to fall backwards, clutching his hamstring.

"Ow! Ouch! Ow! Ow!" The boy repeated to himself, trying to make it to his feet to try and put pressure on his leg to get rid of the cramp several times, but the charlie horse in his leg too painful. After sitting for a few minutes holding his leg, the boy finally got to his feet and put all his weight onto his left leg to try and get the pain to go away, luckily the knot subsiding after a few seconds.

The Hyuuga looked around, his hand assuming a praying position and his eyes meeting the ceiling as he thanked the universe for no one being around to witness his embarrassing cramp, but, dang, his muscles were really tight! To avoid getting anymore cramps, the boy shook out each of his legs, and the stretched them behind him, ready to try the stretch again.
