Asami didn't have the strength to turn and look at him, she heard his voice, that's the only way she knew Black was in the room with her now. She laughed weakly and said, "Guess I can't say that I'm alright now, huh?" She sighed and said, "I'll live though..."

"I'm not going to let you die here, Asami." Black said, picking her up and bringing her over to the bed. As he laid her on there, he took a step back. His face was filled with panic and his eyes were tearing up. "Please don't leave me..."

Asami looked at him and said, "I'm not going to die so easily, I'm just feeling weak...I'll be better soon." She smiled and her sight went blurry, "I was supposed to have a few more days...so, don't worry."

"Don't tell me not worry, Asami." Black said as he clearly was sounding saddened. "We can't finish the mission like this. We HAVE to get you get back to the Capital." He said as he was helping her stand up. "I'm not going to watch you die while we're here. I rather not see you die from that in the first place."

"Do you think...her highness will think me weak? To die like this?" Asami asked him while standing up with his help. She leaned onto him and said, "Black, thank you so much, for being with me for so long, I owe you so much. Truth was, I wanted to talk with Sekain, but I will not drown him in my words...let's return together."

"No... Katherine won't think you're weak. I don't think you're weak..." Black said as he was escorting her out of the manor. As they got to the horses, he took her on one with him. "I don't want to see you die, Asami..." He said as they rode off.

Sekain arrived through the gates of Flowing Rivers to be greeted by the nodds and smiles of the passers by, Putting a face on he smiled and nodded back. He stabled his shire and returned to his office in silence seemingly distant.

"How did it go with the meet?" Aldon asked softly poking his head around the door after noticing Sekains empty expression. He looked around for a moment and enetered the office. "Sir?" he asked, waving a hand infront of Sekains face, "I'll be fine my friend" Sekain said as he awoke from where his mind was previously. "I just need to keep busy is all." he said feleinga round his desk for work to do "I can't be another absent leader, like these afore me" he said Aldon looked at him and put a comforting hand upon his shoulder. "Sir rest is the best for you at the minute, if I may, I can look over Flowing Rivers while you do so, and if anyone calls Ill just say you're unwell" he promised reassuringly. Sekain stopped trying to busy himself and nodded. Aldon made sense and he thanked him as he was escourted to his room where hewas to stay until his mourning had passed.

Sekain awoke late that day, and rolled over to be met by the sunlight from the balcony windows. He got up and looked down over Flowing Rivers, He heard workmen who were paving the space where the market was permanently going to be, under the guise of Ruben, and his troops were helping which made Sekain smile. This was what made Flowing Rivers different from Llyr's capital. The government, its troops and the public were all working together.

Aldon appeared aside him "how're you feeling my lord?" he asked as he handed him a glass of the new spring water they were using to trade. Taking a sip Sekain nodded "I'll be fine my friend, a few moments of weakness are surpassable" he said looking into Aldons eyes, as he smiled "The market was under construction shortly after you left to meet Katherine. As you can see the paving is well under way, and a craftsman is creating the stalls to inhabit the paving as we speak" Aldon said as he turned to over look the town, changing the subject knowing that Sek wanted to forget about it.

Aisis finally reached the land of Flowing Rivers after a few hours. It had been quicker than she had thought. She walked into town and observed the people there with her crimson red eyes. She had hoped Asami was not known here, for they'd see their resemblence. She was still searching for an answer in her mind though, "Who gave me this...?" She said to herself, referring to the new strength she had.
