(( okay o: <3 ))

"Only if you want too." He nuzzled against the others neck lightly, ears going back more out of comfort than anything, not sure... what to really say. He almost wanted to keep Chance here... right here, not let go. He didn't want to shoo Chance out either, like last time, which wasn't the intention, but obviously it was interpreted as so.

Then it dawned on the wolf, was he making it harder for Chance to go? Did Chance want to go?

----------------------------------------

Anatu's tail waved as he peeked at the clock in the kitchen... Then leaned so he could look out a window. Mm, it was close. He could go get cleaned up before he went. He'd ended up getting sucked up into the baking; he ended up baking more than he though he would, though most of it would stay home for the other hybrids.

Moving to the sink he washed his hands then went to dry them before moving to leave the kitchen. He had to let some cookies cool before he could wrap them up. He hummed lightly to himself, happily as he glanced around, then headed for the hallway.

Idris had gotten his stuff in the room he'd been showed too... It... was so odd. It would take a bit to get used to the fact he now had a constant place to come 'home' too. He was a semi-acquaintance of Andrei. Stifling a small yawn, his tail flicked as he glanced around the room, before he decided on taking a peek around the house.

Moving to his door he opened it and started down the hall, looking over the multiple doors, which most likely housed other hybrids of similar predicaments.

Then he heard humming, bringing his gaze to the front where approaching was another tiger. He gave a small smirk...

Anatu's ears perked as he spotted another person... Wait... unfamiliar face. When had this happened? He frowned lightly as he approached confused as to why one he hadn't been introduced and two, why he didn't know there were going to be more people living here.

"You shouldn't frown." Idris had gotten close enough and stopped in Anatu's way, though it seemed he was going to be quizzed whether he had stopped or not. Gently he reached out to poke the other feline between the brows, where it was furrowed. "It causes wrinkles ~"

What an odd--- Anatu cleared his throat, straightening out his face to a bit impassive... "It's not a habit of mine to frown." With which he 'graced' Idris with a smile.

"There we go!" Idris grinned himself.

Tail flicking, Anatu made a small face before offering a hand, "I'm Anatu."

Idris' ears perked as he smiled, taking the hand, being quite charming, as he bent to kiss it with a smirk. "Idris Namir. It's a pleasure."

Whoa... His ears perked as he blushed lightly, staring at the other tiger as he was smirked up at. Clearing his throat, he retracted his hand, flexing it a bit uncomfortably. "That's.... nice. It's nice to meet you Idris... Well, if you would excuse me..." He shifted his footing to move around the other, sort of finished with introductions...

He didn't move immediately, as he gave Anatu a brief looking over, "Going some where?" It was a stupid question, but he stepped to the side to let the other go by.

Anatu shifted, moving by as he spoke, "Mm, yes. To... visit a friend. Maybe we can socialize later, and you can tell me all about you. Right now I'm in a bit of a hurry." He glanced behind himself once, but continued to his room, where he picked up a few things before hopping in the shower.

After the tiger finished, he dried his hair with the towel once more before glancing around his room and heading out. He didn't notice Andrei and Idris talking in the hallway; their rooms were across from each other.

"Heh heh. Yeah... I was--" Andrei's ears perked and glanced as he heard a door open and closed. His tail waved, "Well lookie ~ It's Anatu." He and Anatu were on good terms, Anatu was pretty good at standing his ground against him.

Idris turned to look too, "Oh, I met him earlier." He grinned and watched as Anatu's attention was gotten by the general voices.

Anatu blinked and looked up, almost wincing as to who he saw. His ears went back lightly before he gave a small smile to them. "Hello Andrei, Idris..." He nodded to each of them. He'd have to walk between them to get by. Moving swiftly, he approached them, "If you would excuse me boys, Im just on my way out."

Andrei purred lightly as he stood straight as he'd been slouching against the wall, "Do we have too?" He felt a little ornery tonight.

"Have to what?" Anatu stopped and looked at Andrei, right before walking between the two, not quite trusting Idris to his back...

"Have to excuse you."

The tiger's tail flicked at he looked at Idris, "Well... I... suppose you don't--"

"Oh good. I was worried."

Idris snickered.

Tail flicking, Anatu's ears went back and frowned... He hated being played with... "Well, don't excuse me, but I'm leaving." He moved cautiously taking a step, eying Idris and Andrei.

He thought he'd remain unscathed when he felt a hand grab at his tail, wrapping his tail around the hand. His ears perked then instantly went back as he turned, moving to grab his tail. "Knock it off!"

Idris smirked and chuckled, letting go, moving instead to poke Anatu between the eyes as he had before, "What did I say about frowning and wrinkles?"

Andrei laughed heartily, as he glanced at Anatu. He'd never actually touched Anatu except for the occasional pat when he felt particularly gutsy or completely drunk. Idris would learn, if he wanted anything to eat that's tasty, he'd have to watch himself.

Anatu growled, tail poofing as he swatted at the other tigers hand and stormed to the kitchen and packed up what he made for Kas, then stormed back out to the door and slammed it, not looking back, tail waving.

Andrei and Idris looked at each other.

"Shall we get a drink?"

"Mm, love too."

Holding Dante tightly was about the only way he was able to reply for a while. He should not stay. He had other places to be. That was his usual excuse, his usual way of getting out of the awkwardness of dealing with people. He was not going to use that excuse this time. "I... want to stay..."

- - -

Kaspar stared down at the empty pie pan. He doubted he would see or hear from Anatu for quite some time yet. He was only a week or so into his grounding, out of a full month. Though it sounded silly, this was his last tie to Anatu until he was free. The other night had just been a fluke...

He carried it out to the kitchen. Though he was grounded, he could leave his room; he simply chose not to. Standing over the sink he washed both the pan and any other dishes that were there. He just wanted something repetitive to do.

"You can use the dishwasher, you know."

The angel looked up as Morcanth and Bri walked into the room. The calico wore a teasing grin as he went over to the coffee pot and poured himself a cup. That had been the speaker, his 'uncle.'

"I know," he smiled faintly before turning back to the sink.

"I've been worried about you, Kas. You haven't been eating.... you're pale right now." Morcanth approached and stood watching him.

"Now that's saying a lot," Bri commented before crossing the room to sit down. "I poured you a cup, Mor."

"Thanks. I'll come get it in a moment." Kaspar was glaring at Bri with a little annoyance when the tabby turned back to him; as if he could talk, he had white fur... "Kas, would you eat a sandwich if I fixed you one?"

"Sure." He did not really want food, but he would eat it if it were put in front of him.

"Good." Of course by sandwich, Morcanth meant a sandwich, pickle, and chips, plus a glass of something to drink. "Juice or milk?"

"Milk's fine."

"Lettuce?" Morcanth was leaning into the fridge.

"Sure."

"Tomato?"

"Okay."

"Mustard? Cheese?"

Kas glanced back at his mother. The tabby was grinning back at him, tail swishing mischievously. He knew what his son liked.

"The works." This would take a while, so Kas poured himself some coffee, black because of the sweetness already drowning his system. He sat next to Bri, who jabbed his ribs lightly.

"Hey. Your mom's been worried about you. Just because you've been grounded it isn't the end of the world, but you've really been sulky lately." The calico sat with one leg crossed over the other, skirt billowing slightly about him. "I mean it's not like you usually leave your room anyway, what's the big problem?"

"I know." Kas looked down at his cup then back at Morcanth, who had taken everything out of the fridge in one armful and was quickly going about his business. He would likely make sandwiches for everyone, with thick stacks of meat and cheese. When the tabby glanced back at him he looked away. All right, he felt really bad about how he was making his mother worry. His brother was the unbalanced one, he was supposed to be the dependable one. "I'm sorry..."

Kaspar received a rub on the shoulder for his trouble. Bri may have been prodding him verbally but his intentions were pure. He was one of those people who would do anything to help out a friend in need. He smiled at the angel and lifted his cup. "All right. Now drink up before your coffee gets cold. You too, Mor! I will make you take a break and drink this if you don't sit down!"

"I'm almost done! If you want to eat you'll leave me alone!" The tabby's tail swished quickly to and fro, but he was chuckling. Their banter always filled the house and brightened the atmosphere.

Dinner ended with hugs and smiles. Kas was actually feeling better - his blood chemistry was finally leveled out from dinner, and, well... Morcanth and Bri were always fun to be around. They tried extra hard to make life a little easier on everyone. It was almost as if they were his parents, and Chance was the landlord...

Smirking a little at that thought, he returned to his room. The window was still closed, so he opened it to let in a little breeze that had kicked up. It was still warm and muggy but the fresh air was always welcome. Then because he felt so good he decided to take a shower and disappeared into his bathroom to do so.

Dante's ears perked as he gave a smile, nuzzling against Chance lightly. "Good... 'cause I didn't want to let you go..." Murring lightly, he kissed the others temple, holding him a bit longer. "Come on ~" He moved to lead them back to his room.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Anatu's tail was still a little poofed since he'd left home. Ugh! As if the house needed another annoying seme! His ears were back as he carried a small book bag that held the baked cookies for Kas. He stopped at the driveway to look around... it wasn't super dark yet, but it didnt appear there was anyone outside or around.

Looking at his tail he tried to soothe it down so as not to look frazzled in front of Kas, but gave up with a frustrated sigh. Ears flicking he glanced around before making his way to Kaspar's window, were he remembered it to be. It was open!

He smiled lightly and shivered with a little anticipation, excited for some reason. Oh, it was because he was visiting Kas again...

Tail waving a little he perked and looked around before moving so he could look through the window.

The unicorn moved away a little, the other's statement a little surprising and enough to bring color faintly to his cheeks. With a smile, he returned Dante's kiss, nuzzling lightly behind the wolf's jaw. Then he followed him back down the hall...

(( And this is part of what leads to the next thread. They're always so busy! x_x <3 ))

- - -

The heat had encouraged him to wear only a light pair of shorts. Kaspar had just finished toweling his hair dry and had begun to brush it when Anatu arrived. Caught up in this little ritual however, the angel was unaware of the tiger's presence as he sat down in a chair near the window to watch the sun setting.

(( X3 <333 ))

Anatu's ears perked as he saw Kas, his eyes going a little wide. The shorts again! He ducked back down under the windowsill hoping not to be spotted yet. His gaze drifted to the sunset, as he tries to control his mind. Just seeing Kas made him nervous.

Getting his heart rate back in control he peaked over again a bit nervously and cleared his throat lightly, "Kaspar..."

He glanced over his shoulder before back at Kaspar, tail swishing behind him.

The angel's mind was wandering as he watched the scene outside. It was really nice, lovely enough to forget for a while that Emory was somewhere outside.

His hair was about half finished when he heard a voice. Frowning slightly, he wondered for a moment if it belonged to the squirrel, but the voice was different. Setting the brush down on his desk (next to the now-clean pie pan which Mel forgot to mention Kas brought back because she got distracted) he approached the window and looked out.

His brows raised in surprise when he saw just whom his visitor was. "Anatu! You came back!"

The tiger's tail swished as he gave a purr and a smile when Kas came over. Ears perking he nodded. "I... brought you cookies. I made some extra and thought maybe... you'd like some?"

He shifted a bit, though happy to be in Kaspar's company, a smidge nervous as the last time, considering the angel was still grounded. He reeeeally didnt want to get him in trouble, but yet, he found himself outside Kaspar's window, once again willing to break the rules.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 24, 2008 1:29 pm

Kaspar leaned out the window. "Oh, I love cookies! But... you already knew that..." The angel grinned sheepishly. "Oh... I have something for you. It's not as great as fresh cookies..." He disappeared for a moment and brought the pie pan out. "But it's clean..."

He hesitated a moment. He was not currently feeling defiant (as long as he kept Chance out of his mind) or sneaky (somehow even Emory outside did not make him worry), he simply wanted an excuse to see Anatu for longer. "Would you like to come in? That is, unless you need to be somewhere..."

(( I am tempted to have Bri see Anatu outside. I'm not exactly sure what all would happen in that case, other than a lot of squeeing over Kas and his first boyfriend... e.e; Morcanth would probably find out eventually, probably tomorrow, so the thing with Chance could still happen... xD ))

Anatu grinned and chuckled lightly, his ears perked at the mention of something for him. "Oh?" He stood on his toes trying to look when Kas left, but failed miserably and sunk back onto his heels, waiting.

He looked back when the angel reappeared with the pan and purred, "You ate it all?" He hadn't expected it to be gone. "Did you like it?" Well, obviously, dumb question. The tiger purred lightly, pleased for really no reason at all, well, probably because Kaspar seemed to like his baking.

Looking up at the angel he blinked when he was asked to come in. "Um, well..." No he had nothing else to do, he'd planned this out actually. He gave a sheepish smile, "If you won't get in trouble ~ I'd like to stay..."

(( XD <3 Go ahead if you want.))
PostPosted: Sun Aug 24, 2008 6:58 pm

Kaspar flushed. "Well, er..." He was going to answer with an affirmative, but Emory did have one piece. "Well, I had a little help..." He smiled broadly. "Yes, it was a wonderful pie. I loved it." He was not going to mention how jealously he had guarded it.

He watched as Anatu seemed to hesitate at his question. He had no right to expect him to come in, yet for a moment a chilly feeling in his stomach suggested that he would just leave... Therefore, he was very pleased when the tiger said he wanted to stay. With a warm smile, he set the pie pan aside on his desk, then reached out for the bag of cookies. "Hand those to me and I'll help you up."

Anatu gave a smiled, tail flicking as he moved closer to hand up the cookies. "They're oatmeal raisin... I hope you like them." He gave a purr, curious if they were going to do what they did last time, meaning how he had gotten in.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 24, 2008 7:20 pm

The angel eyed the bag curiously, sniffing a little at it. The scent of cinnamon wafted out pleasantly. "They smell wonderful..." He disappeared again inside, setting the bag on the pie pan. Maybe they could share a "plate" of cookies, he thought with a grin before returning to the window to literally give Anatu a hand up. "I don't know how else to let you in, I hope you don't mind."

Anatu's tail waved when Kas came back. He gave a small smile, "It's okay." Purring he reached up and took hold like he had the others time. "On three?"
PostPosted: Sun Aug 24, 2008 8:08 pm

Kaspar nodded, "All right. On three." He counted then, and on the count of three pulled Anatu up.

As the angel reached out and pulled the tiger inside, someone rounded the corner from the front yard toward the back. Seeing what was happening, he quickly hid around the corner again. Peeking back around, green eyes widened as the calico cat stifled a giggle. Ohh, so that's why he's been so moody lately... Bri grinned and went back the way he had come. Eh, let them have their privacy, you're only young once...

Inside, the angel hugged the tiger tightly, kissing his hair. "It's silly... it's only been a few days... but I missed you."

He cleared his throat nervously and pulled away. "So, um... did you want some? I could probably get some milk too..." Though he would only be able to get one glass and would probably just let Anatu have it. Or... they could share it... No, out of the question, he thought, blushing. "Er, yeah..."

Anatu gave a hop on three so as to help get up. He made sure not trip or fall over when getting up like last time, though his ears perked when he was pulled in close. Wrapping his arms around he returned the hug purring and snuggled against the others chest a bit. So... it wasn't just him.

He couldn't help but grin, tilting and purring more at the kiss. His tail waved a bit, "I missed you too... " He felt weird, since as Kaspar said, it'd only been a few days.

Ears perking again, he looked at Kas when he pulled away. He glanced around a little and spotted the cookies as they were mentioned then looked back at Kas. "Oh, no. It's okay. They're for you. You should try one though, tell me if you like them." He beamed happily.
