Izumi was fast becoming tired of waiting on the beach. The scenery was far too constant for her eyes to hold them as interesting for any while longer. With her eyes cast upwards towards the man, she bowed. "Sir, I think I should return to the Academy. I left a while back ago and I told the flame headed man I'd return immidiately. I sure don't wish to get into any trouble. Thank you for your company, and I hope you find what it is you are looking for. Goodbye~" Izumi waved to the man before looking back at the dwindled fire and overturned boat. Hopefully they'd keep their place while she was away. For now, her thoughts should be returned to returning to the Academy. As she started back towards town, her toes became a bit chilly. Shivering, she kept on. The fragile bodied child wondered what it was the class would be doing, and if anyone else has finished the pull-ups she'd left them attempting to do. Her easily distractable mind scurried around from possibility to possibility, wondering if Shisei and Karite were still fighting or if he got into trouble with the red haired man again, or perhaps the other girl that was in the class got on one of the boy's nerves. Giggling, she skipped along the rest of the way back towards the Academy, a light happy air surrouding her as she went.

Sukotto soon realized that he had to be strong for the academy students that he would be training, strong like Ichi had been when he fought an opponent who was clearly much stronger than himself. Getting over the fact that the Kage was gone would be a different sort of training for Sukotto. While it wouldn't increase his physical power in any way, it would increase both his mental and emotional power, both of which Sukotto valued more than the first. As he ran, he began to do so from his heart, his aching heart that would need this mission with the academy students to heal. If they found nothing in Bird Country, then he would find something in himself and them along the way.

Indeed, the Uchiha would need to call upon all of his resources to protect and teach the students that he would select from the academy. It would be one of the most difficult tasks that he had ever taken on. Considering how he hadn't really ever won a battle on a mission, he was a bit worried about the protection part. However, he felt that his real strength was in leading, instructing, or being part of a good team rather than fighting an opponent by himself. He believed that this was the more important value of the two to hold anyway. However, to get the team up to speed, he would have to be the one that they could lean on in a tough situation and for that, he needed to increase his individual combat skill. He felt that after he learned about the taijutsu, he would have what it took to defend them as much as he would need to.

After laying out the plan in his mind once more, Sukotto felt confidence rush over his entire frame. He lowered his head and began to sprint at full speed, knowing that he was just about satisfied with his workout. Even though it was very cold outside, his body heat easily kept his outsides warm in the chill of the Shimagakure winter. His chest ached a little as the cold air entered the warmer parts of his inside. In spite of this, he simply continued to push himself as hard as his body would go, allowing thoughts of his future mission and the taijutsu that he would soon be learning to ease the flow of adrenaline. However, he had to be careful where he stepped, for the snow made it quite easy to slip, which could put him out for the whole day if he sustained a serious injury.

Zasadel swayed back and forward on the floor of an emissary ship assigned to ferry him to the island of Shimakagure from the Land of Rice. His eye's were locked shut and his breathing was slow and deep. Dried tears hung from his cheek's like vines. A week ago, he was told his family were assassinated by an unknown group of assassins. Not just a few of his family, his entire bloodline, the leaders of the Kaguya clan were all dead. The clan was alive, though very weakened and small at the moment. He opened his eye lids to reveal slightly swollen, but gorgeous bluish green eyes. "My family....dead....." He whispered out, his hands wrapping around himseld and clenching his robes with anger. As of today, his parent's were given burials and he now had the throne to the Kaguya clan, a massive amount of stress for a 14 year old boy, As well as he was to become one of the only Kaguya Ninja alive at the moment. Most had died out from the endless wars his clan had participated in, something that thinned there already dwindling numbers. He pushed the thought to the back of his mind and sat in sorrow, more tears beginning to stream until he heard;"LAND HO!" a sailor shouted from above. He ignored the man but got up and looked outside, an island coming out of the distance. Zasadel was already packed and ready to go, considering he hadn't eaten in days nor left his room. Moments later, the ship docked and Zasadel was already up and heading to the deck, his pack over his shoulder. He got off the ship without a good bye, but leaving them an extra tip from what little money he had now. His shoes bellowed on the sea soaked dock, a THUD! noise happening with every step. He eventually made his way to the beach and looked around for the Instructor that was suppose to meet him. "Hello?" he said with no emotion, his pained eyes seeming not to care about anything.

Kairo's purple eyes and soft voice greeted the new boy on the shore. A thin layer of snow on the ground made his tracks easily traceable. He had come from the student dorms, which was where this boy would go now. "Hi-yo, kiddo. Welcome to Shimagakure, the Hidden Island. Not so hidden, really, just in the middle of the ocean. Clever, eh?" Kairo laughed and held out his arms, pointing back towards his tracks. "Shall we get you settled then? The dorms are back that-a-way, so let's get to it! By the way, name's Kairo - and yours?"

"Kaguya Zasadel, Kairo sensei." Zasadel said with a polite bow, neither a smile nor frown appearing on his face. "If possible, I would like to begin my training immediately." Zasadel stated, starting to follow the man to the dorms. His eyes looked up the the man, almost as if seeing through him. It wasn't personal, but he knew if he didn't begin his training and master his abilities, he wouldn't stand even the slightest chance of fighting off an assassin.

Kairo chuckled, shrugging. "I'm pretty sure I'm not much older than you, and I don't teach at the academy. But if you want to train, that much I can maybe help with. For one, you can try finding your own way to the academy. Follow my footprints, that should be easy enough." Kairo pointed, chuckling again as he started walking the other way. He had been out, debating going fishing and just asking one of the fisherman for one of their cache, so he didn't really mind either way...

Zasadel blinked and nodded silently. "I just have to watch carefully." he thought in his head, looking at the ground for the footsteps. It took him a moment, but he eventually found the trail and slowly traced them step by step. He wasn't about to argue about the training method, but he was expecting a lot more of himself. "I shouldn't think that, Kairo sensei knows what hes doing more then I do."

Zasadel smiled, something he hadn't done in a long time. He continued to track his teacher's footprints, and had already took a shortcut through the path. He paused for a moment to look around, making sure he wasn't being mislead by his tutor. Seeing as how he was still ahead and a shady building was in the distance, he continued his trek through the snow.

The cold air stung his lungs slightly, a shiver running up his spine while he focused on his teacher's steps. He pressed through the town, his white hair blowing around slightly behind him. He could see the warm air of his breath hit the freezing cold, and he knew he needed to get settled in with proper clothes before he began his real training. For a moment, he lost track of where he was and looked around, seeing that he had walked off the path.

After backtracking his mistake, he traced his own footsteps and resumed his walk. He needed to hurry, the snow was falling again and it was starting to fill the footprints with fresh snow. Zasadel quickened his pace and scanned as fast as he could with his eyes. Before he knew it, a loud BANG! echoed and he rubbed his head. Infront of him was part of a large building, a door that he found was unlocked already. He headed inside and looked around, seeing many rooms and several other kids his age or younger. He had found the dorm.

Sukotto opened his eyes to the faint orange light of Shimagakure's morning sun. His body began to tremble and ache due to the chilling atmosphere, but it didn't manage to freeze his mind from racing to analyze the situation. After his training, he had passed out due to exhaustion, effectively sleeping through the night. To the Uchiha, this meant that he had lost precious time that had been reserved for training, and he couldn't afford to waste another moment. However, as he tried to move his arms and legs, the only result they gave were signals of pain. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and relaxed. Sukotto managed to will his chakra to accumulate in his limbs and before long, they moved once again. As he stood, he noticed that his legs felt as if they were carrying the weight of four people, and his arms sagged lazily at his sides. In spite of this, it only took a few short strides before he was up to jogging speed on his way to the library, with the intention of setting up the training schedule for learning his new taijutsu.
