-Exactly, how long was Mimi planning on sitting on him like that? Well, she was unsure of it. For one, it was rather amusing to witness all the different shades of red Hakan was capable of becoming. Two, it was rather comfortable. Extremely so. Had she known how much Hakan had previously enjoyed it, she would have completely understood how he felt.

In fact, she was so comfortable, she could've stayed there all evening had it not been for Cherry's giggling. Despite all the changes she'd endured in the past year, unecessary cruelty was not one of the new enhancements. Slowly, almost regrettably, did Mimi lean forward a bit, a hand on his chest as to pull a leg off of him. Really, it just looked so wrong!! Oh, if she were only aware of how bad things seemed...

She'd probably get a kick out of it now...and she'd rather express amusement than embarassment. Really, those two had practically switched into their polar opposites.

Eventually, Mimi was sitting crosslegged at his side, her long hair loose and sprawled all over her shoulders. It was rather messy, but cute, and extremely obnoxious. The girl then raised a hand and with her teeth she pulled out a leather strap from within the gauntlet that covered the back of her hand and forearm.- Oh, Cherry, did you just consume a pound and a half of sugar?

- As she spoke, she leaned forward almost touching her forehead on the floor, hands gathering those silver locks into a ponytail which were then securely tied with the leather strap. The gesture exposed her shoulderblades to the world, pawprint and all.- And didn't share?
PostPosted: Tue Feb 08, 2005 10:01 pm

At Mimi's words, Cherry broke into full-fledged laughter. She wasn't exactly sure what was so funny; she simply couldn't stop laughing. Thus, the little teenager stood, arms crossed across her stomach, absolutely shaking with laughter.

"More...like....two....pounds..." she gasped. "A whole blender full! Teehee!"

Even as the girl laughed, her mop was dancing about behind her cleaning once more. The blood splatter was gone as quickly as it had come, and the lemony fresh scent of the antibacterial soap pervaded through the air.

The citric scent served to jolt her a bit out of her personal world. She grinned bemusedly at the gleeful Mimi and the blushing Hakan. "Anyway, I know Hakan. Or...I knew Hakan? Or...maybe I just saw him. I dunno. It's all jumbled, now. Comes with the psychic territory." She tilted her head to one side, causing her red hair to spill about her face.

She was again jolted most rudely from her reverie, this time by an unruly mop. "Oh! I've got to clean! So, um, don't mind me!" Obsessive cleaning and sugar highs didn't really mix very well.... But the others could expect to not see any dirt anywhere around the hotel for weeks to come.

{I have to go for tonight! ^.^ 'Night, 'night!}

He would state blankly at Cherry as she ran away, his left brow twitching slightly. What was this? A sign of aggression? Well, that Cherry was more suited to wear the name Cheery. That girl, she could make the Pope go insane and curse! Can you imagine how much Akatsuki was screaming inside of Hakan's mind? It, was, not, pretty.

However, it was good that Cherry ran away to clean, or else Hakan and Akatsuki would have molded together, and Hakan would have thrown a fit.. It was kind of dissapointing for Mimi, one could guess, but maybe it also hinted at ways to get her Hakan back?

Eventually, Hakan would collapse onto the floor, sprawled out lazily. "I forgot how draining that girl is.. She has so much enerhgy because she sucks it out of everyone, I swear it.." It was a pssobility, and as far as Hakan was concerned, it was the truth!

However.. Mimi, she was much more cruel than that ball of energy known as Cherry. Pinning him down like that, in public no less! It was sad to admit, but.. It was nice being 'on the bottom' for once. However.. Although Akatsuki was still taking a nap, his words echoed within Hakan's mind still.

He dare not break his smiling face, but.. His rather distant face said it all. It wasn't like Hakan to space out!

-Oh, to hear such words. Now that was more like the Hakan she remembered. It made her all giddy inside. Of course, it faded after a moment, noticing the far-off look. Oh no, was she losing him again?

Over her dead body.- Want to go stargazing? -She asked abruptly, climbing onto her feet with ease. She looked down at him, hand outstretched.- Or maybe just go see what's new around the park? Its been a long time.. really.

-Well, it was true. And she had missed the long nights of casual meandering about with him at her side. - Or do you have something else in mind?

He would simply stare at her for a rather long time. Awkward silence or not, it was as if he was stuck within deep though about what to do. What if that damned Akatsuki was right? What if this.. Was just to keep him around, and see what other personalities Hakan could produce. Naturally, Mimi wanted her Hakan, so he couldn't hold it against her if she didn't want him..

Biut, he'd be damned if he went down without a fight! He wasn't going to lose to that disgusting pervert, Akatsuki. No way in hell! Eventually, he would offer her a faint smile as an apologey for his silence, and finally he would take her hand to pull himself back up.

What did the demon have in mind to do with her? "Why don't we go relax instead?" It was more of a question than a suggestion. "It's getting kind of late, so.." Actually, it was nothing compaired to the ammount of goofing around the duo did in the early hours of the morning, but.. Having three people took up quite a bit of energy, there was that and.. The fact that if he would go to 'relax' with her, maybe he could find an answer for himself!

- It hadn't really dawned on her the possibility of losing this Hakan in slumber.. hell, she didn't even know what triggered the different personalities yet. So far, Mimi was under the impression that this Hakan had some form of power over the personalties and that tomorrow, this Hakan would still be present.

Oh, what a rude awakening that wuold be.

In either case, it didn't matter. She was with him now and the now was what was more important at the moment. Sooner or later she'd learn about thinking ahead. - Alright..

-She offered the boy one of her bright smiles again, her small hand slipping into his. Besides, she was looking forward to waking up next to him again. It'd been far too long, a year, of being away from her Hakan. Who would've guessed those nights with him near were so innocently meaningful? Ah, but that was one of the many interesting things about the duo... they were just weird like that.-

It was such a weird version of Hakan wasn't it? For once he tagged along behind her, when he was usually the one dragging her around. It was awkward though, to him. He was looking forward to having a peacful night, himself, however.. It had been a long time since he'd just been around Mimi, there for, it was simply awkward! Like the times when one met a friend from years back? So hard to find things to talk about..

At least, that was what went through Hakan's mind for the longest time. However.. If things were really back to normal, conversation was not needed. They would be able to have a nice, quiet night without complications, surely! At least, thats what he hoped for. With any luck, Akatsuki wouldn't try to butt in. Ha'tsu wasn't a problem, since he was the quiet sort.. But, blas the Akatsuki, he had an advantage! He was more like Hakan, than Hakan himself!

It would be hard to stay awake though, wouldn't it? He was considerably sleepy from all the excitement that had gone through that day, but.. At the least, for Mimi's sake, he had to keep himself awake and over Akatsuki, so he could remain in control!

-Indeed it was awkward being the dominant one all of a sudden, at least in the dynamics of that particular relationship. She'd gotten used to the command of soldiers, even telling male civilians twice her size and strength what to do. Hell, that paw print that had been scarified onto her left shoulderblade spoke volumes about her role in society as well as inner strength... But when it came to Hakan, it was still too weird...too awkward.

Either way the girl put up a brave front, plastering a smile across her face regardless how strange the situation felt between the two. She wasn't going to mention the past, the last year had been utter torture for herself and as far as what she knew about Hakan due to what Ha'tsu told her, his had been just as bad-- more likely worse.

Mimi was not going to speak about the future either. Having become ambitious of how things to-come would be, Mimi found herself in the mess they were in now. Had she been more careful, she would've never been captured.

At least now she had more control over her destiny than Deisuke did. Just a touch more. - I'm sorry about earlier, I didn't mean to hurt you. It was just.. sudden.. I never expected you to wonder on in.

-That's right, talk about the present to fill the void. Make it less awkward. Hopefully-

Indeed, talking about the past would bring forward more painful memories, making plans for the future would lead to heart break, so what was left? The present, ouf course! As she brought up the bathroom incident, he would offer her a grin, rubbing the back of his neck causing his hair to get ruffled up slightly. "No, it's my fault." ..Honestly, it was! "I should have thought more before bursting into the bathroom like that."

"Besides, it was a nice image to start the day with!" No, the moment was over, it wouldn't be good to say things like that. It would have been.. 'Wise' get be shocked when he burst in, however.. Now simply was not the time! However, that brought about a much more awkward silence. What was to be said now? "It was funny though, right!?" Hah, oh yeah.. Nice conversation! "I still have a headache though.." He would fakely rub the back of his head, while whining.

-Mimi blushed a bit and was glad she was the one leading this time.- Well, now that I think about it, yeah. -It had been! If it had been anyone else that it had happened to, Mimi would've burst onto the floor, laughing and crying in complete amusement.

However, the moment passed and now there was that silence again. Thankfully, Hakan himself filled it with a new subject. She couldn't help but nod and glance over her shoulder as she pushed open the door to her, no, their room. It never really dawned on her why he didn't like being in his room but she knew whatever had happened wasn't good. Then again, it had never really been her place to question his motives either. She trusted him, completely.- Well, its no wonder.. you kept on hitting yourself there over and over again. How you manag with those boots is beyond me... Those boots and the baggy pants you used to wea--

-Mimi fell silent again, almost sorry she had mentioned the past. It hadn't been her intention, really.- Excuse the mess, was looking for bandages earlier. Didn't find any, but I swore I had left some here last time.

-Then again, she had. She'd just forgotten that Ryoko had used them all during her last visit. All in all, the place was still how it had always been, neat, save for the untidy bed from where she'd sat on it, couple pieces of discarded armor on the floor, as well on top of the dresser. That said, the door was promptly closed with a click.-

He would take a look around as well. The room, last he remembered.. It was very neat, outside of the bed which he usually messed up. It was strange, to him, being back in that room, especially when Mimi brought up the past. Eventually, though, he would allow his hands to drop to his sides. From that point, he slowly made his way over to the bed, and plopped his toosh down on it as well.

A whole year, right? So that explained the bed as it creaked under the duo, although.. It always did that, didn't it? He would sit there, with a rather spacey expression on his face. However, after a moment, he would end up leaning over, and against Mim's shoulder heaving a rather deep sigh.

Trying to avoid such conversations would end up being more troublesome than what they would be if they just got it out of their system, this was what he came to realize, and it was with that, that he sparked some small conversation of what was. "I dyed my hair black back then, right?" He would ask, as if he couldn't recall. While speaking, he lifted up a few strands of his own hair. "Maybe I should get a hair cut, at least?"

-Mimi eyed him for a bit, carefully running her fingertips through his hair, careful not to pull in case there were knots. He did say he had a headache, no?- Yeah, you used to have it black, and it was shorter too. Not too much, I think.

-She gave him a soft smile before pressing her lips against his forehead. He looked so tired, fragile even. Worried or not, she still cared about him and she blamed herself for everything that had happened to him.- I could cut it for you if you want, I don't know about dying it, though.

-As she spoke she turned around to give him a tight little hug, hoping to make up in this manner some of what she'd lost. - Its up to you, though.. -Oh, she'd just gotten comfortable and she wasn't about to change into jammies now.-

Ahh, it felt nice to embraced by someone. It'd been a long, long.. Long time. There wasn't a day that went by that Hakan didn't think of Mimi, it was because he was just that happy, it made him feel light headed enough to fall unconscious, but that would result in him reverting to Akatsuki, and things wouldn't be pretty then.

....The sooner he got her to sleep, the sooner he could rest, and try to regain some of the energy he lost. How exactly he was going to go about it, unknown. However, the offer of having his hair cut was interesting. However.. Instead of immedietly saying 'yeah!' he would turn himself around slightly so he could look up at her easier. "What do you think?" Ahh, that horrible question! Wasn't it just aweful when someone asked you that?

However, he did have good intentions while asking such an annoying questions. He didn't want to end up making a poor decision, and having Mimi ending up not liking him with a different hair style. Although, he knew Kyaroru wasn't that shallow, he still wanted to make sure she was satisfyed with the way he looked.

-Well, it did seem like fun, and it definately was a sign of trust. The girl blinked, surprised that he'd even ask her such a question. - If that's what you want...

-Well, it was true. If he wanted the haircut, she would, even though all she'd rather do was nuzzle up to him and sleep. Really, it had been too long. But if that's what he wanted...

Without another word she calmly grabbed a gauntlet and slowly began to dislocate the bones in her hands as to take it off. Once she was done she proceeded with the other. As much as they protected her wrists, forearms and bak of the hands from getting injured, it really kept her hands in a limited position. After a while it bugged.

Interesting gauntlets, too. Steel and leather, forged to resemble a paw with the same clawmarks on her hands. Without a care in the world she flung them across the room and onto the dresser, but only after she unsheathed a dagger from one of them.- I don't have scissors, it'd be really choppy...

He would frown at her for a moment or two, while he stared up at her. Of course he didn't want to get his hair cut now! Eventually, he would offer up a bit of an irritated sigh, although it was closer to a frustrated child pouting and soon, he would have the dagger removed from her hands, and would simply be using what weight had to get her to lay down.

"Baka." (As we all know, idiot. xD) he would state in a rather firm, but adorable manner as he leaned on her with his eyes shut. "It's too late right now." ..Besides, hge needed to check with Akatsuki. He was the ne who made Hakan grow his hair out, after all!

"Besides, that's not how I want to spend my time with you!" He would almost pout as he looked up at her. ..It was true though. After a whole year, he did not come to her for a bleeping hair cut! And, he also knew that was not how she wanted to spend her time with him, either.
