Yeah, that does happen, but you can't deny that it's a useful recovery otherwise. Oh, now you're being silly. I know it's useful sometimes, as is the Ice Climber's B over, when you've only got one. You still have to use it to recover up, that's all I'm saying, and it does become a hindrance of Luigi's, when you need it, in comparison to Mario. Luigi is very similar to Mario. You guys can nitpick all you want, call him whatever you want, but he's still a clone/edit of Mario, in some way, shape or form. They have very similar attacks, and it's obvious that when they created Luigi, they based him off of Mario to start with.
I'm not saying it's completely reliable. I'm just saying Luigi shouldn't ever rely on his UpB over it. Unless you happen to forget to DI upwards, and are below the stage, or you get spiked.
Yeah, but he is definately not a clone. Falco, for example, is. His moves are almost exactly the same, with only changes to knockback.
Luigi has many moves that are different, and his traction and weight are altered a lot.
He was based off of Mario, yes, but he wasn't a complete clone. He was, for lack of a better word, Luigified.

I scoff at those who STILL think the L is a clone. If you're calling him a clone, say it about the N64 Smash Bros. version!
His Up+B moved to the right instead of straight up in the first one. And they nerfed his Down+B in Melee! You don't go as high when tapping B (from ground to air), and the last hit (when his arms are out) doesn't provide much knockback as it used to. Am I not right, Tatsu?
Look between the Lines, people! Even with the glaring similarities he and Mario shared in N64 Smash Bros., Luigi is NOT a clone! So suck on that, nonbelievers!!!
Why do I say this? Tell them, Wario! WHY? (look below)

Falco has a new moveset, I already know, and don't ask, because I won't answer you. I just have a good feeling, because of the dualwield picture.
and I know the best character every for brawl.
ANCIENT MEW!, with its final smash as win, just because he is that amazing. and to unlock him, you need every character, see every pokemon, beat sse, and get over 500 kills with a pokemon character alone.
all of ancient mew's attacks all take one life off of it's opponents, unless you use it's final smash, then you win.

Why is everyone harassing poor Luigi anyway, huh? He hasn't had as much exposure as his brother, you know. We should all cut him some slack and be slap-happy that he is at least coming back. :3
BTW, I like that Fwd+A midair chop. The opposition feels the sting from his mighty palm!

I'm just going to use whoever I find I like to play as. I'm really looking forward to Meta Knight, but I probably won't "main" with him. I want to try Pokemon Trainer and Captain Olimar, though. Tatsuman I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing and keeping the topic going. I really don't think it needs help with that. sweatdrop

Meh. I won't reconsider until I play the game.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Sonic and Ness all the way.
Falco looks awesome though, I must say. He'll probably be on there too.
