well they hate us (guard) cause well we hate them. at every football game we lead the cheers and we have the best dance moves (as good as we can get on stands) and they actually complained about us and we were told to stop and settle down by the principal and some other ppl too. it was funny and we didnt listen. so begins the hate!!! i love it heart

I don't know if the cheer/poms hate the band itself...but I do know that they hate me, since I can dance in the stands better than they can on the track...and I got on TV for it redface

Wait, what about me, I'm a cheerleader AND I march. I don't hate myself, nor to I hate my bandies or my sluts. (I call my cheer friends sluts.)

They don't really hate us but we hate them. We also hate the Red Wings because when we want to get onto the field they jump on there and then there is ROTC. That's a mutual hate.

They hate us because we make fun of them and make up rather rude jokes about them. Plus, we're better than them at their own cheers, we have way more school spirit, we don't dress like sluts, and they're obviously insanely jealous of us. xd

Not all cheerleaders hate the band. I have some that I know from class and they cheer for me every time I go by them when we march around the track. The only problem is that it makes my girlfriend jelious sweatdrop

welll, the cheerleaders does a dance or cheer to all the songs we play and on one of the songs we start out normal and then play really fast and then super slow, it really helarious to see them do a high kick in slow-mo! plus we stand up and cheer along with them but mix up the words and it throws them off i love band so much.

We surprise the cheerleaders by speeding up the tempo, suddenly bringing the tempo down, playing a song twice in a row (making them do their routine twice without stopping)... things like that. It's not really for torturing the cheerleaders... we just like to play a lot and support our football team. More than they do =P

1. Because we're better than them.
2. Because we come up with the warped chants that ruin their cheers.
3. We're smarter than them.
4. We knock them over with bass drums and sousaphones.
5. We play our instruments while they're trying to cheer so no one can hear them!!

I think it's because they are jealous! Plus I think we know that we hate them. At least that's my opinion. They are skinny, peppy and crazy. They shout for the whole game. What do we do? We work our asses off to entertain the audiance. Nobody watches the cheerleaders anyways.

gandalf7863 Im wondering why cheerleaders hate the band I mean we never done anything to them but why do they hate us. just cause were not atheltic and wear tight and play foot ball we are still cool in our own way. mrgreen Hope you like hehe. At our school, the cheerleaders really do hate us...and for good reasons. My saxaphone section leader is an ex-cheerleader who hates them. She takes great pride in annoying them as much as possible. Also, one of my best friends is the loudest person in the school...and is also in the band. We start cheers without them, and drown them out...which makes them just a wee bit angry. Also, we have a song that we speed up in the middle, so they always screw up. We have lots of fun at games. biggrin
