"And I'm Isabella," she said after Alex had introduced himself. It saved Ayumi the trouble of having to reply to each of them at once. She smiled, looking as friendly as she could. "This is Vic, by the way." Isabella waved her hand towards Vic, seeing that his face had returned to its normal shade already. "Have you checked in with a counselor yet? It's getting pretty late," she added, looking up at the sky, which was already shades of red, orange, yellow and purple as the sun sank behind the horizon.
Cameron smiled again, although he sensed the somewhat awkward silence between the two of them. "So..." he said, at a loss for words. Millions of questions formed in his mind, but they were all idiotic. "Are you thirsty? I could get you a drink or something." It probably wasn't the best choice of what to say, considering it reminded her of her injuries, but Cameron wasn't sure what to ask.

"Oh, I'm Miranda. And...no I haven't checked in with a counselor yet...I've been looking for one earlier though."
Miranda looked about the group, and then shifted her attention out in the wilderness in the background.
'This place seems empty...I wonder....
"So are you guys the only ones that are in this camp?"

Vic stumbled a little as he got dragged over by Alex with the rest of his friends over to the girl who had just stepped out of the bus. Feeling much better than before, he smiled at the girl, waving when Isabella introduced him. Hearing her question, he shook his head lightly. "No, there's more people. I don't know how many, though. I just recently came as well." He told her a little shyly, but still smiling brightly. He knew about the two people currently in the nurses office, but he wasn't sure if there was anyone else, other than counsellors, and such.

"Oh okay..it just seems too quiet here. I expected this camp to be full of little kids. I guess I was wrong." Miranda shrugs her shoulders.
Akward silence shadowed the group. Again Miranda tried to get a conversation going.
"....Any of you know where I can get a counselor?"
Although what she really wanted to ask was about how strange the place was, and how she felt that she was being watched...

((Waaahhhh!! We're at a slow point, Noelani!! I've no idea what to do... crying ))
Alex pointed behind her, to the guy who seemed to be standing off to the sidelines. He wondered why he hadn't come and introduced himself first, but it probably had something to do with the fact that they were here. Maybe the guy thought they would help Miranda? No doubt the others would, but he wasn't too interested. Right now, he'd much rather be doing something active. "I think that's him back there."
She shook her head with a small smile, wondering why it was suddenly so awkard between them. Things had been fine earlier, but now she found it hard to fill the silence. Frowning suddenly, Odori realized that it was because she was unused to this kind if situation. She was usually the one that talked the most, the one that led the party, or conversation, in most cases. Grinning at the realization, she looked up at him again. "What's your family like? Do you have any siblings? Where did you come from? Do you know where you want to go to college yet?" These questions came speeding from her lips before she realized how she sounded, and blushed, another sheepish smile forming. "Sorry," she said, "I can get carried away sometimes.

[I know... Suckish.]
Isabella turned looking behind her, where Alex had indicated. In the sinking sun she could see the man that Vic had met earlier. "His name is Ben or something, right Vic?" she said, looking him over. The counselor looked very lonely by himself, just standing out there, not moving, simply watching. She frowned, looking him over again. He was dressed nicely, but still a bit casually. He certainly noticed them, but he didn't seem to mind that they hadn't noticed him up until that moment. Chills ran down Isabella's back, and she looked at him again, more warily. Something was strange at this camp...
Cameron scrambled to remember the questions that Odori had fired. "That's alright," he said, smiling again, glad that some sort of conversation was beginning. "Let's see... My family's... nice," he said, skirting around the subject. He didn't want to make anyone jealous because he was rich, or mention that they didn't spend much time together. "I never had a brother or sister of anything... I came from Westchester, and I think I'm going to Westchester University," he said, finally. He wasn't sure if she knew about Westchester, but it was a rather wealthy community. He wondered if he should ask her about herself, or if she would just tell him without question. Cameron decided to wait for Odori's response, putting his chin on top of his hands, which were resting on her hospital bed.

"That's so cool! I've always wondered what it would be like to be an only child! I've got a younger brother." That was all she said about her family, though she wondered if she would have even told him the rest had he asked. "Do you mean Westchester, New York?! Thats so awesome! The school I wanna go to is up there too. Purchase College. Have you heard of it? It's a branch of New York University, I think."

Cameron laughed lightly at Odori's happiness, though he did wonder why she hadn't said anything about her family. Then again, neither had he, so who was he to pry? "Yeah, that's it," he confirmed. "I'm pretty sure that it is, Purchase College that is... I'm not sure though. I haven't really thought about it as much as my parents have. It'll be cool if I see you sometime, though. I take it you don't live in New York then? Or do you?"

Benji smiled as the campers noticed him. He needed to stop spacing out like that. He walked over and directed his gaze at Miranda. "So, you're Miranda, right?" he asked, though it was mostly rhetorical. "You'll be in Cabin G-3. That's to the right." He pointed over toward the cafeteria and back. "You'll have it to yourself unless another girl shows up. Anyway, we're having a cookout later, so don't head to the cafeteria. It'll be inbetween the boys and girls cabins at the firepit." He then remembered the brochure he had. "Oh, here you go." He handed it to her. "If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'm Benji."
"Rain, I'm fine," Henry said, "You're the one we should be worried about... Can you get down from there without hurting yourself?" His eyebrows were knit with worry, his arms hanging at his sides, giving him a helpless look. He really had no idea what to do in this kind of situation. He felt awkward and pointless. Would it be preferable to be the one hurt? Possibly.

Rain laughed, "Probably not but if I am going to die getting out of this tree I am going to find out what that rope is." Her laugh was pained as she stood precariously on the branch, "Stand back." she called to him below, "Oh but seriously if I stop breathing can you call some help." Backing up on the branch she took her original plan as she ran jumping off the thing moving as swiftly as she could so as not to keep her weight on any branch and her persistence was rewarded. Her last jump let her reach the hight and grab the rope however it wasn't tied like she thought it would be. It was a long piece of rope and it fell with her. However unlike when the branch had caught her before she managed to keep her grip until it snapped tight and ran out of space where her hands were rope burned and she let go hitting the ground as stars came before her eyes once more but she stayed conscious although flat on her back.

(Hey, MiseryLuvsMusic? You responded to the wrong post in regards to the college/family questions. That was said between Cameron and Odori, in the nurses office. Which you're not it...))
"No...I wish I did though! I've only been there once, but I fell in love with the place, ya'know?" She ran a hand through her hair, the side that wasn't hurt and smiled again, her eyes going somewhat dreamy like. "Once I get up there, I'm not going back. To Georgia, that is. My town is so small and boring, but all the people are pretty close, so I guess that's cool..."
He tensed at the look that ran across Isabelle's face, a slightly protective side of himself he hadn't felt before rearing its head. He took a step closer to the girl, before focusing once more on the others. He wondered why she smirked at the councilor, though he doubted it meant anything.

"Yeah, it really is great," Cameron agreed with a wistful smile. He realized that he might be bragging and stammered for a second. "Of course, I barely know my neighbors at all. Georgia seems more homey," he said, the words truthful, but also seeming to be said for the wrong reasons. "But New York is still awesome. I'm sure you'll love to spend your life there..."
Isabella felt Alex come up behind her and felt comforted for some reason. Benji also seemed to be less menacing, and more there to help them. She took a deep breath, her emotions rising and falling so quickly probably wasn't good for her. "Yeah, thanks," she said, her voice sounding slightly choked still, for some reason.

Miranda saw the young man from earlier walk up to her and told her about her cabin assignment. Miranda looked towards where he was pointing and nodded. She took the brochure that he handed to her as well. Miranda looked through the brochure carefully.
'The brochure seems fine...maybe all this supernatural stuff is all in my head after all.'
She looked up to Benji from the brochure and smirked.
"Thanks, Benji."

Henry let out a yelp reminiscent of a poodle as Rain fell, clutching to the rope. He ran over as she fell onto her back once again. "Rain!" He knelt down beside her. "Do you think you can move?" he asked nervously. He didn't give her time to respond. "Damnit! This is my fault!" He struck the ground with a fist. He swore again, his knuckles stinging.
Benji smiled a little uncertainly at Miranda. Why did her smirk scare him? He was older than her, if only by 3 years. "So um, I need to get back to the cafeteria. Hot dogs to defrost you know," he said, green eyes laughing. He turned around and walked off.
Ayumi glanced a little jealously at Isabelle and Alex. She was distracted from her thoughts as Benji returned to the cafeteria and she watched him go. The sun was really going down now, fiery reds and golds. "Hey, maybe we should head over to the cabins?" she asked.
