"Right then," Monja said while nodding. "Let's go. It's a long walk." He began walking in the opposite direction of the exit out of town, pulling Noelle along with him. "Remember, put your weight in your feet."

Darque followed behind them, watching the passing shops and people working at them. He saw many opportunity's to easily steal various items from people along the way, but had to restrain himself from doing so. Which was kind of hard for a kleptomaniac...

Noelle soon found herself a hat, a Mardis Gras necklace, and a new shirt. She looked at Walls, then at Darque, who obviously hadn't noticed.

Monja spoke again after a long time. He said, "Stay on your guard. If it's the same as the last time I was in this part of town, we're about to see a lot of orange and yellow ears. This is where the real scum of our kind waits." And he was right, not two minutes after he had said that, a small man appeared behind them and reached for Monja's pocket. He saw the man out of the corner of his eyes and activated his power, causing him to fall forward in his attempt to steal Monja's money and be left in the dirt. "See? We'll be there in a minute. Stay frosty."

Darque turned back to took at the two he was following...and ended up confused, he had only turned his head for a few seconds and Noelle had on a whole different wardrobe, almost, when he looked back. 'Girls...'

"They aren't very good if they have yellows and oranges." She said. "And they aren't very observant either... I've just gotten a brand new outfit..." she frowned.

Monja shook his head. "They may not be good, but they're consistent, and have a way of finding more success than failure. Oh, here we are." They were under a cloth tarp at a small booth with iron and steel armaments covering the walls. There were six beams on either side supporting the tarp and ceiling. There was an open way leading to the back room. Monja let go of Noelle's arms and slammed his arm down on the counter. "Bubba! Bubba, get out here! You know why I'm here!" A short fat man with an eye patch and red hair sprouting from all parts of his body appeared from behind the counter. "Eh? Mo- I mean, Walls. Watchu' want? Dis be business hours!" Monja shook his head and gave him a glare for almost revealing his name. "Don't pull that on me. I went green for you. Now set up this girl with some heavy steel boots. If you don't we'll have to put her on a rope and tie on end to the ground all day. And you wouldn't do that to such a cute face, would you Bubba?" He pointed to Noelle and turned around so that his face was hidden from Bubba. He made a silent gesture with his hand, telling Noelle to put on the cutest and neediest face she could.

((again, I had to read a lot before I could post... Thats what I get for not wanting to post until now...))
Although Alice had heard Darque's snide comment, she ignored it and stalked outside to find a good ally-way.

Darque just hung around, staying quite while Wall handled things for Noelle. He grinned, liking not having to deal with anything, though he would be the one dealing with the Buddhist's once they all got to the sanctum, but Buddhist's were different from store owners here in town.

Noelle was just about to open her mouth to say she was sixteen, not four. She flashed her cutest face, and showed her blue earring.

Monja turned around to the counter again, mimicking Noelle's face. "See, Bubba? Ain't she cute? Don't you just wanna give her a big hug?" He grinned at the short red man, knowing he'd already won. Bubba pouted. "Eh... Fine. Stupid kids... Come into the back and I fit you with some heavy boots. You gonna need strong legs fot these, but they keep you on the ground," he said grumpily, and he waddled into the back room. Monja lifted part of the counter up, holding it open for Noelle to pass through, grinning.

"I'm sure that won't be a problem." She grinned, and walked past Walls. She resisted the urge to grab one of the daggers off the counter. "How much are those?" She asked instead.

Walls shrugged at her question, as Bubba was out of earshot. He grabbed three off the wall and pocketed two. He held out one, handing it to Noelle before continuing onto the next room. "Just don't show it off until we're far away from this shop," he whispered. "This is high grade steel stuff."

Noelle took a small, decorated one, and pocketed it. She walked back into the next room.
