(That's okay, I don't what I'm doing either, we need to think up some action Oh, and sorry if I seem to be making it still in the middle of winter but it's negative 15 here, and it still technically is in the middle of winter so I figure it works..)
Talitha sighed contentedly after their meal, enjoying the new warmth of the fire as Chaos added more sticks and logs to it.
Treasure smiled and sat back, "So what will you two be doing today?" Her smile was somewhat faint and almost distressed, her thoughts not really on her own question or their answer.

(I've no problem with that. I'm in an RP right now with Alec and Akiko and we're pretending it's still before the kits.)
Lexis thought for a moment. What could they do today? Yesterday they had fun sledding, and the day before they looked at the stars. While he was thinking, he remembered that time when they almost when ice skating. He had to go before he could try. "Maybe ice skating?" He looked to Talitha to see what she thought of that idea.
(I'm guessing it was Talitha and Lexis. I don't think it was Seth and Tama...)

(Yep, it was Lexis and Talitha)
"Ice skating! Oh! I've always wanted to try that!" Talitha replied excitedly. She stood up and padded over to the door to look at the frozen sheet of ice in front of them. Grinning happily, she said, "And we don't even have to look for the pond."

Lexis walked over to where Talitha was to look at the sheet of ice. It was big enough to have a bit of ice skating fun from the look of it. Smiling, he said, "And we don't have to worry about whether the ice is thin or not." walking outside, a cold breeze blew by. "Well, even if the pond was their only option it was still cold enough to form a thick layer appropriate for ice skating," he thought.

"Al right!" Talitha laughed, plunging out into the snow and onto the frozen pond. Her paws slipped and she wound up spinning around on her fluffy tail before coming to a slow halt in the middle of the frozen sheet of ice with a grin.

Lexis walked carefully out onto the ice, expecting to fall at any moment. He did surprisingly well at balancing for the first few moments, but as soon as he thought that it wasn't so bad he slipped and slid a few feet closer to where Talitha was. Feeling only a little embarrassed from his little spill, he sat up and said, "This is harder than some make it look. It's fun though," he added.

Talitha laughed, "Yep! And it is very fun!" She tried to regain her balance on her paws but failed and slid sideways into a small snow drift. Sitting up she shook the snow from her fur and tried agian, slowly getting used to standing on the ice.

Trying hard not to fall, Lexis slowly rises to his feet. Standing precariously on the ice, he attempts to move foreward only to slip slightly. Recovering himself, he tries again and manages to glide forward only to land in a snowbank nearby. Lexis shook the snow out of his hair and fur, and looked over to check on Talitha's progress.

Talitha was shakily making her way across the slick surface, spinning slightly in a circle as she did so. "Wheee...!" she breathed, not wanting her own voice to knock her form her tentative hold on balance. Looking over at Lexis, she saw him standing and grinned, "See? Not so-" She had been turning in a circle and this time her tail had gotten tangled in her back paws, making her fall on her rump. "Tough," she finished, still grinning as she tried to stand up again.

"Hey, I think we're doing pretty good," Lexis commented, as he began to lose his footing again, "considering that some," he continued, now having lost his footing completely, "take lessons for month or more to get really good," he finished up, with a smile on his face. "All it takes is a bit of practice," he added, mostly to himself as he raised himself from the ice.

"Yep, practice makes-ooof!" she paused again to untangle her scarf from her face as she tumbled into a snowdrift, "Perfect!" Shaking the snow from her fur, she used the drift to push herself onto the ice, the forward movement making it easier for her to keep her balance. "Hey!" she said, slipping and sliding to a stop on her tail in another drift, "Try it like this!" She pushed off of the drift again, wobbily staying upright until she almost reached the next drift.

Lexis watched as Talitha used the momentum from pushing off against the snow drifts to steady herself. Nodding, he slid over to a snowdrift and pushed off. What he noticed was a big decrease in the difficulty to remain standing on the ice. He continued on until gently hitting the snowdrift on the other side. "It's a lot easier this way. That was a really good idea Talitha!" he said with a smile.

She giggled and almost fell over, her tail twitching happily, "I'm glad you think so." In circling the pond, she began to get the hang of the way her paws were supposed to move. Thinking she had steadied herself enough Talitha pushed off into the middle of the pond, unfortunately, staying upright and making her paws move her forward at the same time proved a little too difficult. After a "whump" an "ooof" and several "Aaagh!"'s she finally drifted to a stop on the other side. She turned and grinned again, waving at Lexis a little shakily.

"Are you alright?" asked Lexis, witnessing her little tumble. He was pretty sure she was alright, but he wanted to make sure. He pushed out against the snow drift to get a bit closer in case she needed some help. Unfortunately, he was a couple feet to the right of her, but it's the thought that counts, right?

Shaking the snow from her fur once again, Talitha replied, "Yep! I'm okie dokie artiechokie! Whatever that means..." It was a silly phrase Neko was fond of saying, but she didn't know she had said it now. She scooted over to him, glad that he had thought about her. "I think we're getting better at this," she said, realizing as she said it that she was talking about more than learning to ice skate. She flicked her tail absentmindedly and looked out at the still but snowstreaked pond and smiled slightly openly.
