Cora's sudden leap away startled Syvra. Glancing quickly towards Demyx to make sure he hadn't seen her reaction, she reached out towards Cora with her mind, but her twin blocked her. "I have no idea what's wrong with her," she snarled, frustrated with the fact that she couldn't find out why Cora had left and the sudden move had scared her. "And if anything, I'll go after her. I am her twin after all." She adopted a sardonic smile, and was about to leave, when another elemental walked to them through the trees. The vibes she was getting from him she didn't know how to interpret. Syvra became wary. She couldn't tell whether or not he was dangerous. As she saw his cold eyes scan her, her eyes glowed like icy fire. Nobody looks me over like that, she thought, raising her lip and revealing a fang.
-------------------------------------------
The calling voice hurt as Cora leapt away through the trees. She knew this forest like the back of her hand, so she closed her eyes and let herself go to the night. Somehow, she found herself on the roof of the school, where she and Syvra usually hung out, out of sight of all that lived and learned below. As she leaned against a partition, she heard a push at her mind. Cora? She longed to answer to that voice, but she collapsed against the wall. Her cursed gift came out only a moment later. As her eyes watered, she sent one desperate word, Please, with her mind, before her black tears hit the ground.

We have more people!!! yay! Gaia Name: Vincent Anubis Character Name: Vincent Age: 17 Race: Vampire Appearance: Personality: He is sophisticated and had an upper class upbringing. Despite this he has been known to act out like other teens do. He practices martial arts as a hobby and is in good shape due to this. He is very observant of people around him and his surroundings, usually trying to size someone up from a distance before interacting with them. He can be very social but usually will only interact consistently with those he sees as useful to him. He won't betray a friend and will fight for an old fashioned honor code. Extra: He has not yet chosen a side because of his nature. He does not know enough of the facts to decide fairly. He is very cautious and tries not to make it look like he is neutral but also tries not to fall into either of the warring sides. He does however feel as though something is out of place and very few people know the whole story, which he intends to find out. Clan: Valcori Gaia Name: Shadow Kissed Character Name: Oriana Anairo Age: Fifteen Race: Vampire Power: -- Appearance: Oriana stood up near to 5’7”. Her black bangs reached just the top of her thin eyebrows while the rest of her choppy layered hair touched a little past her jawbone. A small red-rose clip stuck to a small section of her hair complemented her pitch black emotionless eyes. A thin charcoal bow tied around her thin neck kept part of her lightly tanned shirt that puffed out some through the short sleeves, closed. A charcoal, strapped dress over laid the shirt that reached to her mid thighs, flaring out in at the edges. A large Silver Star pendant was pinned to the middle of the dress as well: While the back of the dress was tied off tight, showing off the curves she developed through the years. Her black leather boots barely touched her knee caps while her dark grey socks went only inches below the tip of her dress. Five large buckles ran from the hill of her foot to the top edge of the boot on both legs. Black sleeves ran up both of her arms past her elbows by a few inches. Another set of large buckles but only one this time, wrapped around both of her wrists keeping the sleeves from falling off. Personality: Oriana is a quiet, shy girl. It takes her a while for her to open up to others. But being once she is out of her shell, she can be the funniest girl you can be with. A little cocky sometimes, she can become a little over confidant when she’s on a roll about proving something. But she’s not all fun and games when she’s serious. Her attitude can change in an instant; it’s as if she has an ‘alter ego’ that she lets go loose when things don’t go her way. Like being in an argument, she has to prove her point in things, if it isn’t proven then she’ll throw a temper tantrum. But it’s just not proving points- she also can’t handle being under pressure. She’s afraid of failing not only to herself but to others as well. Extra: She could seriously care less about the war. She doesn’t understand that a feud why they think fighting will figure out who killed the leader. But what ever may show up as evidence, she wants to stay clear and out of the way of fights. Occasionally she’ll want to agree with the ‘gossip’ and news that has been floating around the school. But most often, she shrugs it off and wants to get along with her life. Clan: Lestu Also...Since the next day in the RPG is approaching. I thought I would address the "classes" issue. here is the deal... All students attend the same Math,History,English,Latin,Science classes. (of course this varies in age and teacher. But I suggest that at least make sure you have some of the characters in your "classes") Then the students are divided into separate classes according to race Vampires go to classes where they learn who to use all their senses and powers to their advantage, usually in combat. Also how to use compulsion. Lupines go an learn how to control their phasing as well as how to attack and defend. Also how to use stealth. Elementals lean how to prefect their powers, as well as use them in offensive and defensive ways. (Though Alice has this as a free period due to her circumstances.) Nekos learn to use stealth and compulsion. As well as to perfect their natural fighting abilities. The level of which class your in is based off of seniority. Kind of like in a high school where if your junior you attend English 3. The same things apply here.

As Sakura laid at the bed and stared up at the ceiling, she could faintly here the conversation on the other side of the hallway. Apparently someone had left, and another had arrived shortly, as if taking her place. Her eyes were almost emotionless as she stared at the uncountable number of dots that appeared before her eyes from staring too long without blinking. She suddenly took a look upon herself; she was hating the fact she was doing nothing at all.
Cmon now, Sakura. This isn't the real you. You're not shy, nor quiet, nor like to be pushed around. So why this state of depression? It's bad enough you've started suffering from it since the past few weeks; mom's been freaking out over it. Why not go for a nice "walk"? Ya know, let the beast within you have some free time. It's been quite a few weeks anyways; longer than you usually go for when staying normal. she thought to herself. She decided it was better than nothing.
She opened the window, letting the cool night breeze hit her face. She concentrated on a single thought, and then her body slowly changed. What was once a human being, was now a wolf with brown fur and matching eyes. She leaped out of hte window, making sure to shut it behind her with her tail, and took off into the woods. She ran faster and faster...oh, it had been so long, she nearly forgot the feeling! It was almost like flying!

Jack leaned over and whispered into Demyx's ear. "The clan was worried about you. And they have many questions about the new girl. Why? What is so special about her?" His hand gripped his cousin's shoulder and he was staring at him with hungry curiosity burning in his eyes. He could get Demyx to tell him almost anything he wanted to know.
And yet, Demyx said nothing. He was staring distantly into the darkness at the spot where Cora had disappeared. His forehead crinkled in concentration before his face flashed from surprise to worry. A moment later he was gone, calling over his shoulder as he left. "I have some very important business to attend to, thanks for reminding me Jack! Oh, and bye Syvra!"
Jack blinked and looked over at the vampire girl that must have been Syvra. Her expression made him burst into laughter, despite the absence of his kin. "I have never seen such loathing in a woman's eyes! Is it me you hate, or dear innocent Demyx?" He chuckled lightly now, shaking his head, but there was a new look in his eyes, as if he had found something very interesting. "Either way, I bet you are useful. I can see the potential in you. Oh yes."
----------------------
Demyx pushed his way out of the forest and onto the school grounds, hoping that he wasn’t followed by either of the people he had so readily left behind. He looked around franticly, his eyes straining to find the dark shape of a vampire girl. Why did he feel so...desperate? Cora? He didn’t have to force his wandering mind to concentrate on that name. Cora please...where are you? He stepped warily into the moonlight, exposing himself to anyone who might be out. It was dangerous to be out by yourself at a time like this. But he wasn’t worried about himself. Something told him to look up. He wasn’t sure why, but it was good that he did. There, high above him, was a small figure, partially hidden by the curves of the school's roof. Her shoulders moved slightly, and Demyx feared the worst. But why? Why would she be crying? Everything had been just fine. Getting onto the roof proved to be an inconvenience, but he managed it. He sighed audibly when he finally managed to heavy himself up. "Cora," Demyx called to her aloud, now standing at the edge and gazing over at her shadowed figure. His boots hardly made a sound as he approached her. His hand reached out to comfort her, but he pulled it away with a second thought.

[[ Check out my previous post, it has important info]] Alice didn't wait for Rose's response. She walked over to her balcony and threw open her doors. The cool crisp wind filled the room. Her senses tingled at the mixture of pine and night air greeted them. Oh how she wished she was back at home. But she knew inside she could never return. At least not until the war had died. Over the past few months her clan members had been harassed by other clans, telling them to choose a side or suffer the repercussions. The clan leader ignored them at first, but when they began threatening the lives of the children of the clan, they decided to send them all away. Thus her arrival here. She loved the night. The moonlight danced upon her golden brown hair, and lit up her ivory skin. Her mind buzzed a little as she closed the doors with her mind. But before they could close all the way she saw a glimpse of something launch out of the balcony adjacent to hers. Her mind willed the doors back open as she stared out into the night watching a retreating lupine. Then another movement caught her attention...Demyx. He was looking in her direction but didn't seem to see her. He was looking above her. Curiosity struck her, so much she was unable to resist. Before any one could object she used her telekinesis to lift her body up on to the roof. It required quite a bit of energy, but it wasn't the first time she had done this. She landed safely on the roof, facing a girl crouched in the shadows. Instantly her curiosity diminished and was replaced by fear. What have I done? I just revealed my powers to someone!!! Alice mentally cursed herself. She was so used to using her powers at will at home, using them was a habit she was having trouble breaking. Her mind buzzed with energy, she was ready for anything, but hoped to god she was wrong.

As a new transfer, Vincent was a little aloof in this enviroment. He had gotten there late due to complications caused by the war. He was never allowed to associate with the werewolves or elements before, so this would be a strange experience indeed. He had just dropped his things of at his room and decided to take a walk outside and enjoy the night.

As Sakura jogged across the woods in wolf form, stopping once on an old ledge in the woods to let out a mighty wolf howl. The voice echoed into the night, but in a non-frighting way. SHe then began to pace about the woods again, when she caught a scent of something familiar....vampire flesh. Realizing that it wasn't one of the trio from before, she leaped into a tree at the edge of the woods to investigate.
It was a vampire boy; so her senses hadn't tricked her! This boy was about 16 or 17ish, his dark black hair blending in with the night. She sat in the tree and wagged her tail in interest; a new student, perhaps? He looked a little lost.

Vincent had already grown tense from the howl he had just heard, but now he felt he was being watched. He took a couple steps further then turned around casually and looked into the trees and around the area-
Its rude to spy on people, won't you come out?
-he waited patiently

Sakura rolled her eyes while in the trees; gosh, he didn't have to be THAT rude about it. She jumped down from the trees, not changing back, not saying anything.
I wasn't spying; just making sure you weren't a hunter with a gun whose goal was to kill me and use my fur for your gain. Or that someone was following you that could harm you. Satasified? She asked him finally through his mind. She yawned and layed down on her stomach, eyes on the newcomer.

Syvra saw his expression, and thought maybe her sister was contacting him instead of her. Why is she icing me out and 'talking' to this complete stranger? she thought, but she didn't have time to think on that as Demyx called his farewell and she was left with this new person, this Jack. Then he laughed at her. Laughed! Syvra's eyes narrowed to mere slits, but then she was bowled over by what he said. Her eyes widened and went back to a comfortable glow. With his new expression of interest, Syvra felt conflicting emotions. Her instincts were telling her to stay away until she determined whether or not he was dangerous, but her mind had been engaged and she was curious. She slinked over towards Jack, stopping a couple feet away from him, looking him up and down. Very nice, she thought, smiling despite herself, Kinda like his cousin, but different. He's more, cool. "So, you think I'm useful and I have potential. Care to explain...Jack?"
---------------------------------------------------------
Cora's face whipped around. The spirit elemental had revealed herself, but that wasn't important right now. She needed help. Her eyes were a shiny midnight black, and black tears streamed down her face. She was gasping for air. She saw the fear on the girl's face, and almost smiled. She thinks I'm dangerous like this? Cora thought, struggling for another breath. She heard a sigh that wasn't her own, and then she heard her name. Ignoring the girl, she stood as best she could and staggered toward Demyx, one arm outstretched toward him. My face must look a nightmare, she thought, and as she saw him hesitate, she knew he must've thought so too. Finally, it was too much on her body, and as her legs gave out from under her, she choked out, "Demyx..."and right the eyes of him and the girl, she collapsed onto her knees then her face, black tears still falling from her blackened eyes.

Sakura shrugged while in dog form, then slowly changed back to her human self. Her wolf tail and ears shrunk back in, and hte only brown left was her hair and eyes as she was now human again. "Well, I don't see how it's done me any good, so I guess you could say so." she answered kindly. "Since most of my Lupine friends got kicked out unfairly, I'm one of the few left in here in this school. Strange really."

Sakura blinked in surprise. Strange; other than the one who gave her glasses back, this was the first one today who wasn't trying to shut her out or obviously lie to get her to go away. Perhaps the year wouldn't be so long after all. Well, she hoped dearly on the inside, at least.
"First year, I'm guessing? Yeah, the place seems huge now, but you'll get used to it." She answered kindly, moving away from the shade of the tree, and the moonlight lit up her face and reflected in her glasses. She walked towards the boy and nodded. "Sure, I've still got plently of time. It shouldn't take too long; most of it is pretty basic." she said, as she began to show him around the school, pointing out important rooms and points of interest.

Jack smiled and raised an eyebrow as Syvra moved closer. "Oh yes, very much potential indeed." His hand stroked his chin thoughtful as he gazed over the girl. He had to be careful with her. Wrong words could scare her away. Jack, in turn, stepped a little closer, looking casual as he stared at Syvra. "I want your help. There is one secret that I cannot get out of Demyx." He stepped a little closer still. "It is odd that he will not tell me any information about the new elemental girl, Alice. He may be holding very important information from me. As his cousin, brother alomst, this concerns me." His hand ran through his hair, and he took one more step towards Syvra that brought them very close. "I need that information Syvra. And you can help me." Sudenly he turned on his heel and took several steps away from her. "All this chatting about Demyx reminds me, you did not answer my question." He looked back up at her, smiling kindly as if they were good friends having a conversation. "Why do you hate him? Has he wronged you? Or is it something else....jealousy perhaps?" His smiled turned sly. He knew the look she had given Demyx. He knew it all too well.
((No time to post Demyx's part. I will later.))
