"Did it sound pissed?" Liz asked as she drove the Vette, crushing the boarding Covenant as the Elite shot the machine gun, shredding the enterees. The others were doing ok, also. They were crushing, shooting, 'nading, and blowing the Covenant army up.

"Uhhh I don't know..." *He finally reached the end of the vent, the covies were entering through the docking bay* "Liz head to the docking station thats where they are." he said *Shinta crawled out of the grate and sneaked over to a panel and put on a helmet and an oxygen tank* "I'm gonna open the door and shoot them out into the massive vacum." He said to Liz.

*Shinta looked for a big glowing switch, all the covies were walking around, looking for something.* "Ahhh there it is." he said. *He quickly got up and ran towards the button, plasma flew past him from all directions.* "Almost there..." he muttered to himself. *He jumped forward and slamed his hand onto the button and grabbed the handle above it* "I did it!" Shinta shouted through the mike. *The door creaked open and the vacuum started ripping everything from the room*

"Be careful! Some of the Elites have some armor that allows them to survive in the vacuum! They might want to come back in!" Liz said over the battle raging around her, she was driving with one hand and shooting her magnum with the other, head shots going all around.

*As Shinta was holding on, a crate flew towards him.* "Aw crap!" Shinta shouted into the mike. *He pulled on the helmet with one hand, and then attached the air tank. As he finished the crate hit him with a loud thud. He flew out the door, out into the freezing space.* "Liz, ummm don't get mad...," he said to the group, "but I'm ahhh.... look out a window..."

"You know what? I don't think that I really need to look out a window, I can guess. Hmmmmm, let me see, you fell out of the... airlock, because a box hit you, right?" Liz asked, guessing what had hit him.

"Yahhh, hey lookie what I found, there's a fourth hunter on top of the ship, it's heading for the cockpit." *Shinta pushed off of a box and driffted over to the ship* "Wow, this is pretty fun..." he said.

"Don't you mean the.. THE BRIDGE!!!!!!! Thanks for the information Shinta, I gotta go!" Liz said and cut off the transmission. "Tex, you drive. I have to go somewhere." Liz said, then jumped out of the Vette and ran to the entrance to a hallway that ledd to another hallway and so on until it led to the bridge. She turned around, and pulled out her AK, and fired, cutting down Grunts and Jakals, and demolishing the shields of several Elites before she slammed into the door. She pushed the button, and the door opened, and she backed into it, and turned around, and met with a deadly sight, one of the single Hunters.

She jumped out of the way, aware that every second she spent not running to the bridge meant that there was another second spent not saving Lord Hood. She reconnected the transmission quick enough to hear Shinta say "Stupid Liz." Liz narrowed her eyes, but said nothing. "Shinta, try to get back into the ship and give us more info." She said after a second, and took out her beam show, and jumped behind the Hunter, and shoved a plasma grenade into its "back", and jumped away as it swung its shield over its "head" and toward her.

The Hunter then grunted surprise as it realized that it was about to die. The grenade exploded, and Hunter guts flew everywhere. Liz turned around and ran to the bridge, but didn't get very far before encountering more Covy bastards.

Liz was hiding behind a recently set-up and occupied barricade, the dead Marine bodies a few feet from her. She reached out and took their dog tags, a few plasma bolts slashing against her shield. She pulled out her sword again, reached up, gripped the edge of the barricade, and jumped over it, crushing the head of a Brute with her boot, and she sliced and stabbed her way to the other side, her shield fully drained.
