Karawan walked in through to the back of the room, unconsciously magiking several flowers in his step, ultimately sitting on a rather large lotus. He sat there, not staring to space, but averting his eyes from Arilam. Karawan was thinking, hard, because if he didn't approach this the right way, he'd...

"Arilam, I don't want to go home."

Errupting from his hands, a large and impenetrable forest surrounded the two men. It was no more than 10 feet in diameter, but it enclosed them quite tightly. One could only hear into the forest if they were magiking a hole in it.

Before speaking, Karawan dropped down from the flower. He turned away from Arilam for a second, then turned back.

"War, War, War. Why War?"

"Gabe I know you like my ship but the engines run fine." Rannek said steering the mechanic away from the doors to the engine room.

"The only thing we really need to get the ship off the ground is...Plants!!" Rannek shouted, seeing the blossoming flowers from his ship, "I'm going to kill that damn planter."

In an instant his sword was free from his hip and sweeping the flowers from their stems with it's deadly edge. He followed the trail of flowers to a door near the port side of the ship, an empty room Rannek rarely used for storage. He sheathed his blade and his fist came up, cocked way back, then slamming repeatedly on the heavy door frame.

"Rhin, you plant anything else in the metal of my ship and I will unroot you from the Hawk." He shouted.

It only took a few moments to realize that his pounding sounded far to solid, as if he was hitting a wall not a door. Tenkyuu's hand slowed and halted, he took a deep breathe and hit the switch to open the door. What greated him was a small forest of thickly packed trees, which caused a low grunt from Rannek, the only thing to display his anger. He stared hard at the plant-life for a few moments, knowing that if he hacked through it he might not stop till he cut down it's maker. Then again killing a Vizier of Duat would probably be both bad for business and far more difficult then Rannek wanted to bother with.

"I'll deal with this later." Rannek said with a sigh, "Gabriel, lets just install that air-orb to the starboard side and get moving."

Beate sat, hearing what the general said. It hardly phased her as the sky captain made his recommendations. She hadn't come to Pandora for the sake of pleasing her consort, as attractive as he is..., she thought. Too old though...

Beate laughed to herself while Pandora began talking, the thought of dear Cousin Panny and the old general.

"I'm sorry Panny, but aren't their any young men left in Ilium? Or is that the current fashion? Geriatric Romance."

She threw the Priscilla up into the air, at once a thousand pinpricks of light filled the room. It errupted, the metal being magiked into a thousand chain links, layering up and down her gown. Soon her gown was melting away, being burned by the hot metal. For a few moments, Beate's naked body floated before the screen before her body was covered in white and pink and silver armor.

The ship began to slowly fall back into the atmosphere, but only a few hundred miles or so, just to regain the gravity. Beate at first was floating as she walked toward the camera, but a she ship fell back, she slowly dropped to the floor.

Now her armor, she looked to Andora, who had tears running down her face. The two old friends hugged, and even Beate shed a tear before speaking to her.

"You're sure Dora."

"Yes, Your Majesty. It must be done. I chose this, for your approching Kingdom."

"Dora." Beate flashed a golden ring in her hand, pressing it to Andora's chest. The room then illuminated again, as silver and golden haze enveloped the room, causing the visual feed instruments to static. What could be seen, despite the static, was Beate's hand sinking into Andora's screaming and riling body, her magik and life force errupting from Andora's eyes, mouth, hands, and feet, in all directions. Beate removed her hand from Andora's chest, slowly, pulling out a burning white hot sword.

Andora fell limp. Beate squeezed her dead body, dropping the sword to the floor. Andora body had thick veins of silver running all along her limp body, and Beate fell to the floor, crying uncontrolably. It passed for several minutes, before she stood up, and walked to the camera. Her make up ran down her face, a sign of her inpenetrale sadness.

"We found it when I was twelve, while on one of my many stays on lower earth. My father has no idea that I've found one of them, that I am a holder Pandora. I have given up my best friend...my only friend...for the sake of ending this war." She fell back and grabbed the sword on the ground, and held it up for Pandora and the general to see.

"Look familiar Panny? I am it's possessor." Seeing Pandora's response, she nodded her head. "Yes, my dear Cousin. The Thistledey, the Holy Sword of Fire and Water. Feel like talking now?"

Before Thorik stood the three members of IronHound.

"I'm sending you on a recon/retrieval mission. I would normally go with you, but in this case, you're going to Lower Earth..." Thorik was slightly pissed that he could not go after the White Hawk, merely because of the possible, unknown effects that the Haze could have on his armor. He would have to stay inside the Michael on it's way to and from Odmil.

He handed Erich a small device with a screen. "That's connected to a tracking device. It will lead you to the ship White Hawk, which you must bring, along with it's very special cargo and crew to Odmil....At all costs. I would prefer you to try and be persuasive talkers at first...the less damage done, the better. Oh...and try to bring back the tracking device if you can...."

"Right...come on, guys...let's go..."

"I hope this is more exiting than it sounds...", complained Heidi. They each got in their vehicles, and flew out the belly bay in formation.

Thorik sighed, and made his way back up to the bridge. As he took his seat, and relieved the Lieutenant, one of the aerial troopers entered the room, and knelt, holding out a small red pillow with the armlet resting on top.

"A token from her majesty, Princess Beate, to Sir Thorik."

He took it, and slipped it on over his armor. "Thank you, trooper..." He looked around the room as the aerial trooper left, and said, "If one of you so much as smiles while looking at it, I'll throw you off the ship....Literally."

Arilam stared as Rhin created the small forest. Something big must have been welling up inside of him to do something this elaborate for the sake of privacy.

"I'm not sure exactly why war must occur between the counties, Rhin. I don't believe the queen of Olympus really cares for war, and I can't really speak for that Osiris fellow over in Duat. So I suppose the primary cause of war would be because of Heimdall and his weird god complex."

Arilam leaned against a tree. "Why do you ask, though? This war has been going for a while now. Why the sudden questioning of its purpose?"
PostPosted: Wed Sep 26, 2007 1:31 pm

"Because..." Karawan answered. It was now or never. "Because I'm being dragged into it against my will. Arilam, I'm not..." Karawan put his palm out and magiked a delicate flower.

"Do you know the name of this flower Arilam? Because this flower is what I was named after."

Gabriel sighed and dumped a bunch of his tools on his bike. He wanted to just take a peak at the engines but he was being payed so he had to follow orders. "Starboard it is then" he said as he looked at the madness of the plants. "and by the way these plants seem to bet out of control you have a wood mage I would guess." Gabriel stepped on a vine that was trying find its way across the floor. "Jeeze" he muttered as he nearly tripped over another vine. He turned to the starboard portion and pushed the air-orb with him.

He arrived at the ruined mess of the last air-orb. "This is going to take a bit of work" Gabriel muttered. "But I can fix the connections and install the orb in a little less than an hour. The only problem will be cleaning up the mess left by the previous or being destroyed. Unless you happen to carry a big chunk of metal in your hold then i can get the whole job done in ten maybe fifteen minutes. Less if you know another metal mage that can help" Gabriel smiled as he ran through the process "Then another few minutes for balancing and tuning and the White Hawk will be flying again."

Zarina stood up and looked past the pier, seeing that they were still there. She wasn't sure what she was going to do. She actually, didnt want to stay on Lower Earth. She wanted to go...somewhere else...

When the forst began sprouting, Darrin decided that it would be a good time to leave. He knew it would seem suspicious if he stayed hidden in a giant forest on a metal ship. So he decided to go out to the near by village to scan for any prospect of maybe coming down here a little more regualarly to sell. Maybe he would meet an old acquaintance from his travels to Lower Earth after he had set out on his own. A water mage that had given him shelter and solace when he was alone, before joining the man he would eventually view as his mentor.

Maybe she still lived down here. She would be an old woman by now, but he knew that her amazing water magik abilities would have grown in the tewnty years since he had met her, as had his own. Which made him want to ignite a flame. Just for the heck of it.

Arilam sat back, watching Rhin... no, not Rhin. What was that flower called? Arilam had no idea. He had known about the Nihopalaoa because he had studied wood magik in order to sway the advantage that style of magik had over him. But he hadn't seen this kind of of flower before. Was it rare? Common? Deadly? Curative?

"I'm not sure what type of flower that is. What is it?" Arilam asked. It seemed like something big had happened, to make the mage so readily wish to entrust the truth behind his accompanying Arilam and Rannek.

"It's quite common, Arilam," he responded, "or perhaps, was quite common, back in the time before the Haze. My father was one of the first woodcrafters to produce this plant from magic. Therebefore it was known by its old name, Philoctens Saxifraga." He walked closer so Arilam could see into his palm.

"See, there? It is the only flower that is grown in Rock, meaning it's manipulation should be earth-based. But..." he placed it in Arilam's hands. The flower, which was beautiful in it's own right, stood up in Arilam's hands, grew twice its size, and sprouted two more blossoms. "My father figured out how to grow it. He was a Haze Theorist. The flower was renamed after him. His name was Karawan. I am his namesake."

He turned around and suddenly, large amounts of Karawan blossoms were blooming from Karawan's hand. "And not only am I my father's son, I'm his...experiment. I'm not a teacher in training, I am a Vizier, and the High Mage of Duat just me in the forest their, and now I don't know where my loyalties lie." Suddenly, pine needles filled the air, whipping around the two of them. When they settled, Karawan bent low to the ground.

"I'm affraid the menace just doesn't lie in Valhalla anymore. I needed to stop lying. I need you trust me. I need your help."

'A flower controled better by earth magik users? No wonder I've never seen something like it. Such a thing wouldn't be mentioned in books about wood magik, because the power belongs to earth users.' He held the budding flower in his hands, staring in wonder at such a marvelous thing.

Arilam laughed and turned back to Karawan. "I'm glad you've decided to come clean, Vizier Karawan. It makes the strand of trust so much easier to hold onto. And in these times of war, trust is a very valuable commodity. Besides," Arilam said with another laugh, "I already figured you were a Vizier from when we first met. You're really a bad liar, you know?"

Pandora watched the interaction between the two women with mild curiosity, and disapproval as Beate thrust her hand into her friend, but her expression changed to shock at the appearance of the sword. The eyes of her crew grew fearful as the rarely seen expression appeared. Pandora stood up and walked over to the screen, not sure if she could believe such a thing could be real.

"Such a thing... really exists? The old legends in the Olympian histories speak the truth on such matters?"

Pandora fell to the floor, sitting, trying to wrap her mind around such an occurence. The crew stared between the image of the sword and the queen, terrified and questioning what could make their queen so frightened. This object that Beate held so casually, none of her predictions for the war could have considered this as a factor!

"Such a dangerous object truly exists! If one exists, then so must the other two. If an enemy was to come into possesion of such an object, then..." The queen gasped in realization. "It can't be, the Epiphany Charger!"

"Beate!" Pandora said, standing and facing the screen. "Is what I fear the case for Heimdall's new weapon?"
PostPosted: Wed Sep 26, 2007 8:47 pm

"Yes cousin," Beate said, clutching the sword to her chest. It pulsed red hot and the hilt, which appeared to be made of billiant gold, circled and flowed like water. She continued to hold it while she spoke.

"From the time before time, the three holy relics came, and suffered the earth with three mighty blows. Haze, Zaos, spewed forth onto the earth in torrential clouds, creating the magikal sphere we know today. After they had done their work, the Wielders of the Relics burried them deep within the earth. The Yagunan, a bow formed from the union of Earth and Wood. The Thistledey, Sword of Fire and Water that I hold in my hand. And perhaps the most mysterious of the relics, the Hammer of Metal and Darkness, which my father found thirty years ago, burried it within my mother, and used to fuel his dark creation, The Miuthra, the core of the Epiphany Charger. Now you see, don't you Pandora. This is why I have no Magik ability. The Miuthra sucked it out of me and killed my mother."

Beate clutched the sword in her hand and bent over in tears. "Killed my friend."

She continued. "There is no way to stop the Epiphany charger, not without the Thistledey and the Yagunan. And I know where the Yagunan is Pandora. I could have ruled this world without your help, but let the war end!" She got up and returned to her throne as two men came in and lifted Andora's body from the room. "Imagine, Pandora, if each nation owned one of the relics. There would be no need for war. We'd all be evenly matched. Let me board your ship, Sister Queen, and let us sign an treaty, to forevermore be allies. Let us crush my brother, defeat my father, and end this war!"

Beate breathed in a deep and hardened sigh, waiting for Pandora's response.

Darrin rode to the town, parking his bike on the pier. He noticed a woman of maybe nineteen or twenty standing farther down, on the beach. "Excuse me, m'lady, would you happen to know of a woman by the name of Rosalie? I was wondering if maybe she lived in this village. I'm an old acquaitance, wishing to thank her again for the compassioin she showed to me so long ago?" He couldn't help but sense an immense power eminating from the girl. A power that he had felt before, so long ago. And he knew then that Rosalie lived here. For he could sense the same power he had felt so long ago on this girl. It made him dizzy.
