Jyel watched silently, turning away from the guardian angel before allowing the tiniest flicker of a smirk to pull his lips for but a moment. Then he hugged his knees again and rested his head on them, his ears drooping slightly whilst his tail curled around his ankles. Lucky for him, this guy seemed pretty apathetic, which hopefully meant he wouldn't cause trouble for him. It wasn't that he was worried about his own well-being. He was more than capable of taking these people out if need be, he was confident of that. It was simply more convenient this way. He allowed a soft, barely audible sigh to pass his lips, his dark eyes closing whilst he let his mind run ahead, to what would be necessary for the next part of his plan to succeed. He tried to make it seem as if he was simply weary, and that was the cause for his silence.

Ryoga walked over to Kaelot. "THank you for healing the young one." HE said as he gave her a quick hug from behind. "THank you so much." He whispered in her ear. "You would probably make a better mother than I would a father, so please for him please take care of him."

Kaelot lifted an eyebrow when he hugged her. "um.. thanks?" she said. she looked to the hummer. "i think i'll go check up on him, see if hes okay. he might be in late shock or something." walking over to the jeep, she opened the door, and saw that he seemed asleep. she sighed, and took off her cloak and draped it over him. "g'night, jyel" she said, as she closed the door.

Ryoga followed her over to the Hummer. "Do you live in the village?" HE asked as he pickd up Jyel carefully and moved him into the back seat. "Get in and lead me there if you do." He said making it sound more like a request than an order.

The boy shifted slightly as he was moved, his eyes opening to watch the two of them blurrily, his little ears pricking forwards at the his words. To the city...perfect then, they were properly fooled. Feigning sleepiness, he yawned and lay down in the seat, tucking his arms close to himself and closing his eyes to listen, and endure the ride.

Scar was hidden in the trees not all that far away... Staying silent he went from tree to tree following the hummer with ease. "What do you want with them half-breed... your elders consistently cheated the earlier races out of there things and sometimes there lives.... and i saw no change in the five hundred years i have lived.... what are you after.."

Ryoga drove through the desert and reached the gate of the city. "Kaelot, it would be very helpful of you to tell me where you live." He said as he pulled the Hummer over to the side of the road.

Kaelot nodded and took out a folded pocket map of the city. "okay, were here," she said pointing to the gates, "and my apartment building is there" she said, pointing to a building nearby, but to the left. she looked up at him. "why did you need to know?" she asked, slightly suspicious.

Rez looked at the map and noted the rough location "we need somewhere to keep Jyel and I'm pretty sure my apartement is no where near clean enough or anything to keep a kid in" he replied to Kaelot definately agreeing in his head that his appartment was no where to keep a boy.

As they neared the gates, Jyel pretending to be waking up, rubbing at his eyes sleepily and turning around to face the front again, sitting up and letting his hands rest in his lap. He didn’t say anything, but moved over to the window, pressing his hand against the glass and gazing outside curiously, his little ears pricked forward. As he stared out, he listened to them mention apartments, apparently where he’d be living for the next small while. He also heard the Militant mention that his own home was here. Would that mean that the HQ was also nearby? He’d find out soon enough.

Scar watched from across the street staring right at the boy with his cloak on... "I will get you boy... the question is only when and how.." seeing the guards approach from his right Scar left his spot to hide somewhere else.. always within seeing distance of the building.

"So i can take this beautiful damsel home." He said sarcastically as he started to drive again. "The kid needs a place to rest for the night and so do I and since you healed the boy, I thought it would be best to take him somewhere he would feel safe."

Kaelot nodded. "well, its only a few minutes drive away. its got a guest bedroom that you can use, the boy can use mine, and ill bunk on the coach. its not in the best neighborhood, though."

"The neighborhood doesn't matter, but I'll bunk on the couch." Ryoga said as he drove into her neighborhood and could see what she was talking about. "I won't make you sleep on a couch, when I am more comfortable on the couch anyways."

"Okay, if youre sure.." she looked out the window. "oh, heres the building." it was a high-rise, and obviously would have been very nice once. it had a gothic feel to it. now, however, it has weeds growing from cracks in the walls, and everything seemed in shadows. it was, despite all that, one of the nicer looking places in the area, and cheap, with plenty of space in each apartment. Kaelot smiled winsomely. "home-sweet-home, eh?"
