Crow whipped his head around to look at Nali in shock. "Wait, you're joking right?" Crow stared at her for a few seconds more, but soon lost concentration and began to laugh. "Hahahahaha! Apparently you don't know who I am, couldn't blame you though." Crow shrugged. "Well I suppose it's always nice to share the fun, as long as it's okay with our apprentice friend here." Crow looked to Kai expectantly.

Eric gets away from the rival ninjas. "Ok thats enough of them." Eric heres Nali's voice and goes to watch the fight. "Interesting." he said while he watch from a distance.

Orphis just smiled and walked past Nightmare. "I don't care what happens to you, Nightmare. Just as long as you draw out the man who's hunting you. I want him all to myself." He said, tapping his scythe on his shoulder.

Rakunya stared at the scene, once more on the rooftops. He had left to track Nightmare, the Azure Knight, and his travels had led him in an almost immediate circle back here. He stared at the battle that was about to happen when he looked more closely at Soul Edge...no, not Soul Edge...that was but a Phantom of the original sword. This had to end. As an extreme of Darkness, the beast of a man called Nightmare could not be allowed to ravage relatively innocent souls, souls who strayed towards light or darkness but had no true alignment to them. At the same time, Nightmare was to be saved for Sigfried. Two birds with one stone, the old saying went. Now to find out who was truly innocent...
He leapt behind the group that had fought previously. "Any who is seeking Soul Edge should sheath their weapons. He carries but a memory."

"Enough!" Tai shouted, "Nobody talks as thoug my Lord Nightmare is weak and gets away with it!"
As he said this, he got into the stance that Nightmare had shown him many years before, while they were still building their power. He held the flat of the blade against his left hend, bending his right knee as he turned a bit, though keeping his head and most of his torso facing the enemy(think of the position that Nightmare is in when you choose to view his stats on SCIII).

Nightmare placed his huge right hand on Tai's shoulder.
"That's alright," he said, "They will be taught the power of our combined abilities soon enough."
He turned to leave, pausing to look back and signal to Tai that it was time to go.
Tai nodded, and, in an instant, was gone, having used his ninja techniques to vanish. However, he had not gone far, reappearing by Nightmare's side.

Tai turned to face the man, staring him right in the eye with his own red ones.
"I would have killed you all," he began, "but I was ordered not to, so you can be thankful to Lord Nightmare for sparing you."
As he said this, he continued to follow Nightmare, jogging so that he could catch up with him.

Crow wasn't about to let the two of them turn tail and run away. Crow caught up to the two warriors almost instantly, sprinting. He quickly rounded them and cut into their path. "I'd call you a coward, but the word is not nearly harsh enough. Now fight me here, like you said you would. You hide behind Nightmare like some scared child, what you don't see is that he cannot protect you from those who truly wish you harm." Crow smiled and touched the palm of his hand to his blade. "All I ask is a duel, if both you and your owner deny me that, then there's no chance you could have taken a single warrior back there, and you are something below a coward indeed."
