((... La wolf king please do not make up you're own story yet. Also the bandits are still stuck in the cave. The king just came back from the cave after fighting a few of the bandits and they are still in the cave, but they have moved deeper into the cave to avoid form being attacked again. You should wait until we enter the cave before the bandits even appear near you. Please edit you're last post.))
The kings fighters had walked around the town and knocking on the doors, and warning people to avoid the cave at all costs. A few of the fighters went to the cave and stood guard there preventing any bandits form even entering the town. A few of the fighters even went to the group.
"Hey, you there! What is you're name!" The fighter said to Lex, as he walked up to him.

She drummed her fingers against the staff, her gaze intense on Varnis. "I admit, I am reluctant to put my trust in another person. I have no duty to nurture every fallen sparrow I cross paths with. It is a noble cause, I agree. You seem gallant and able enough to carry it out, but I wonder..."
Ahren broke off as heavy footsteps approached. The king's men came up to them, calling out to Lexenos. She stiffened, her feet planted and shoulders back. "What is this about?" Ahren demanded, one hand curling into a loose fist.

"Yes, but if you do not help people, then you may not get respect in the end." He had finished talking as soon as the fighter walked up and called out to :ex, and he just watched.
"I am here on the orders form the king himself to tell everyone to stay away from the cave." He said as he watched Ahren's movements. "If you try to go into the cave, we have orders to kill anyone that attempts to enter the cave." He was watching the three people that stood there, making sure they didn't try anything funny.

"I am Lexenos Mukaiden," Lexenos said as way of introductions. Once again, he bowed and once again his hair fell over his shoulder, the heavy ring dangling from the end of his braid.

The kings fighter turned to Lex. "You are a fighter are you not?" He asked while still keeping an eye out for the other two that where still standing there.

Lexenos straightened up. "Yes, I am," he said with a wary look on his face, as he brushed his hair back behind him. "Is there a particular reason you need to know this?"

"The king has asked for an audience with all the adventures that are here in the town." He looked around some. "I want you to collect all those that you know, and come to the throne room." He said that as he walked away.
"Hey! Don't just walk away!" Varnis had shouted to the fighter as he walked away but he was too far away to hear him.

Lexenos heaved a huge sigh. "Well then, shall we?" he said to his companions. "Or do we even have a choice?" he added as an afterthought.

Ahren leaned on her staff. "What, they expect us to just walk into their hands like a tame pet? I'll go, but I answer to the command of no one. I'll obey, then do what I want." Her face solemn, she picked up her staff. Ahren tapped her sandal on the floor, looking at the others. "I wonder what it's about that they want us rather than using the king's own fighters."

Varnis had sighed. "I don't think we even have a choice." He said as he started to walk south to the castle. "I don't think we should get the King mad. He is strong after all." He said while he looked back, and waited for the two to lead the way.

Ahren followed Varnis through the town, spinning her staff idly. She ran calloused fingers through her cropped hair. "I suppose not, but I can't imagine he would be able to track us all down. Though I agree, it would be better to be on good terms with the ruler of this town." Her sandals raised small clouds of dust around her ankles as they headed south, the castle ahead of them.

Lexenos was in the lead as Varnis and Ahren walked behind him, discussing the new events. Lexenos merely listened to them until they had started discussing the king. "What's the King like, Varnis?"

"Who goes there!" A voice shouted from atop the castle.
