Focht is laid out on the couch, most of the bleeding has slowed or stopped. His breathing slowly begins to return to normal as he opens his eyes an looks around at the dojo. Relaxing, he sighs, tail gently swaying off the edge of the couch.

9 knelt beside the couch as she grabbed the warm watch cloth and started running it over his wounds, cleaning the dries blood off his body. She reached up with her other hand and gently stroked his hair as she looked for the buckles on the muzzle.
"Don't worry Focht, your safe now."

Focht lifts his head so she can check all the way around the muzzle, wincing alittle at her touch. Opening his eyes, he smiles weakly at 9 having expected her to be in some type of trouble.
"9....... you're ok........"

"Shhh we can talk about that later. You need to rest now."
As soon as he lefted his head 9 quickly unbluckled the muzzle and tossed it to the floor. She reached into her herb abd started placing them over the wounds before standing up. She walked into the kitchen and made him a plate of food with lots of meat before coming back to him.

Focht sat up, obviously pained by the action. He looked around the Dojo again, sniffing the air and listening for any signs of the Taken or Lady. His senses suddenly focused on the plate of food, and he smiled.
"This a bribe or you just being nice. Either way, thanks....."

Focht nodded, but he didn't have much choice about it right now. He could be here as long as Lady let him and when Lady let him, no exceptions. He sighed and hung his head.
"I wish I could do something about it but this collar..." *points to collar on his neck* "....means Lady can call me back to her at will."
He started eating, and 9 was right about him not eating. The plate was beginning to be noticablly empty in a few minutes.

"I have nothing thatwill help Focht then powers are gone and I'm just a human once agian. I would turnto my books but Shadow took those too. But don't worry, just get to feeling better and we will see what can be done."
9 walked back into the kitcken and grabbed some more for him to eat along iwht a drink. She quickly came back and sat it down for him.

Focht finished up the first plate before she got back. He looked to be healing ever so slowly except where he had been bleeding. He wanted to put some of his fears aside, to disprove Lady.
"As soon as I am free of the B*t*h of the Year, I will pay Shadow a visit and see if I can't work out a deal with him to get the books back. How are Matsuo, Sairys, and Hashii?"

"Matsuo is gone and I don't know whats happened to Sairys. I haven't she stopped coming around about the same time as Matsuo. Heshii is in her rom I think. She is sleeping off the the effects of the blight that was taken out of her."

Focht raised an eyebrow.
"Shadow take it out of Hashii or did Lady show up.......It feels like I have my control back but I can't be sure right now."
He quickly drank the drink, alittle thirsty from his blood losses.

Focht looks at his feet.
"I felt something wrong... your soul... it was as if you died for a moment, like your heart stopped."
He shrugs and at 9.
"Hey, in the end it got me here instead of still at Lady's new place. Its like it was built to keep me there."

Focth shakes his head.
"I don't want to think too much about it right now....."
He gets to his feet and starts to walk up stairs.
"Thank you 9.... you helped me out more than you could imagine."
He heads to his room and lays down to rest, reading the note that Sairys had left last week.
