It was a good match all the way through, but when Arcane came out, that was epic. Scared the crap out of me. Then the finish had some of the most epic luck I've ever seen.

Random GameFAQs Forum User Put simply, the VS recorder doesn't record videos. What it records is the programming that took place during a battle. When you watch a recording, you're not loading a video file - no such video file exists. Rather, you're loading the programming that took place during the battle. This allows the game to reenact the battle as it happened. You're not watching a video, you're watching the computer battle itself in a way identical to the battle you recorded.
