hilaroma Streamjumper Streamjumper http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/232558 These look pretty happening too. These too... http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/231485 - Especially this one. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/104798 - This one's a bit like my first baked brie suggestion, just using puff-pastry dough. Oh god...the first one sounds amazing. I've never bought watercress before, but now may be a very good time to start. Number 2: The next time I buy brie, this is what I'm making. Hila loev raspberrys. eek heart Edit: Found another one. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/2087 Yeah, me too... I only left it out because it wasn't exactly ultra-simple. You can often substitute mesclun greens for watercress... especially since it can get a bit pricey.

AzurePaleSky Those pastries sound really good, but I'm reallllly feeling that sandwich. GOD DAMMIT I WANT SOME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! It combines all of my favorite things... steak, olive oil, herbs, bell peppers, cheese... yummy bread. I would be in heaven, but instead I am in the hell of hunger!! crying At this one place I used to work at, I made these badass sammiches every day. They made their roast beef using the prime rib butts from the day before, and I'd start with a french bread roll with a nice bit of roast beef, toss on some grilled peppers, mushrooms, horseradish sauce, mayo, deli mustard, and a layer of cheddar cheese on another of smoked meunster... then I'd put it under the broiler for a few, yank it to add spinach greens, tomato, and maybe some olives (if I was in the mood)... That was the best ******** sammich ever.

Yeah, it's definitely not something I want to try out now because I'd only be cooking for myself, but sometime in the future...maybe when Hiro gets back I'll try making it. I had no idea on the price...thanks for the tip on the mesclun greens. If I can't find those either, I'll just get mixed greens or something. It's probably not that critical to have it perfect, especially since it's a sandwich. 3nodding And that other sandwich sounds great. I love it when they're broiled or grilled. heart

Mesclun is a mixture of stuff like baby lettuces such as mache, endive, oak leaf, and radicchio. It often includes some baby spinach and arugula.

Quote: 14) Long separated by cruel fate, the star-crossed lovers raced across the grassy field toward each other like two freight trains, one having left Cleveland at 6:36 PM traveling at 55 mph, the other from Topeka at 4:19 PM at a speed of 35 mph. Oh god, high school math... rofl I kind of have a hard time believing a bunch of these aren't made up, but they're still funny.
